Ontario reports 2,073 new Covid cases … and Poop is not a cure

Ont. records lowest number of new COVID-19 cases since March as seven-day average dips below 3,000

That’s a Big Drop, is the count off again?

Indian doctors warn against using cow poop as COVID cure

As COVID-19 ravages India, some have taken to rubbing cow feces and urine on their bodies as a way to fight the virus.

Doctors are warning against the practice, saying there’s no proof it boosts immunity or helps treat COVID.

“There are also health risks involved in smearing or consuming these products – other diseases can spread from the animals to humans,” Dr. JA Jayalal, national president of the Indian Medical Association, told Reuters.

A Welcome Backlash against Critical Race Theory

Recent weeks have brought welcome pushback against the spread of critical race theory (CRT) and related dogmas of division in our nation’s schools.

Contrary to what many of CRT’s advocates often claim, the theory is about more than just teaching kids to “think critically” about the role that race has played in American history. It’s the conceptual apparatus of a self-avowedly activist political movement seeking to renovate the American social order from root to branch using state power.

Stop denying that cannabis is harmful

Despite the predictable backlash, an Irish awareness campaign was right

The College of Psychiatrists of Ireland, the professional body for psychiatrists in the Republic of Ireland, recently launched an information campaign across various media platforms. It was part of an effort to raise awareness about the harms of cannabis use, with a particular emphasis upon the harms associated with cannabis use among young people. Predictably, the College faced a backlash from activists who wish to see cannabis legalised, and who believe that the College is involved in fomenting a reefer madness-style moral panic about a drug which they view as potentially therapeutic.

The dark side of DarkSide

The Colonial Pipeline attack shows there is no such thing as a righteous hacker

On a normal day, the Colonial Pipeline carries up to three million barrels of oil 5,500 miles from the Southern United States to New York, providing 45 percent of the East Coast’s fuel needs. On Friday, the oil stopped flowing. The pipeline was shut down after the operating company was hit by a cyberattack.

Two days later and the pipeline is still sitting idle, and companies are scrambling to try and secure supplies of oil, diesel, jet fuel and gasoline. The cyberattack raises international suspicions. Was it China? Russia? Those countries specialize in such actions. The NSA however has been briefing that the culprit was an unusual cybercrime outfit known as DarkSide.

Biden HHS Lays the Groundwork for the Chemical Castration of Children

On Monday, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) laid the groundwork for forcing doctors and hospitals to perform transgender surgery in the name of fighting “discrimination.” HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra and Assistant Secretary of Health Rachel Levine (a biological male who identifies as a woman) announced that HHS would adopt the Orwellian redefinition of “sex” to force transgender ideology in the medical field, mainstreaming the arguable chemical castration of children.

The Black Deaths Nobody Wants To Discuss

When the politics of race come into play, black lives cease to matter.

Black men are systemically shot and killed in New York City and no one seems to care because the triggers aren’t pulled by cops. If you say discussing this is a distraction from racism, you do it from atop a lot of graves. And how can anyone say that doesn’t matter?

The context is that New York City saw its bloodiest week in late April, with 46 separate shooting incidents, a 300 percent surge from the same week in 2020. These shootings were part of a 205 percent overall increase in shootings in NYC in 2020, the bloodiest toll since 1996. The body count continued to rise in early May.

Pathetic ‘SNL’ Can’t Even Make Elon Musk Funny

Elon Musk’s turn at the helm of “Saturday Night Live” was awkward, but highly rated. For “SNL’s” flailing staff, there are some useful lessons to be drawn from the episode they didn’t want to touch.

Think about this: “SNL’s” ratings are climbing as Donald Trump is fading into the background of our daily news. It’s incredibly counterintuitive. Their poor ratings are actually improving in the absence of the most hilarious and controversial president in the show’s lifetime.

Tuning Out Wokeism

The current madness is the stuff of history as we watch it predictably unfold, until—and if—a few, a “happy few,” finally say to the mob, “no mas.”

If wokeness should continue and “win,” by now we all know where it will end up. After all, this is not a prairie-fire, peasants-with-pitchforks, spontaneous bottom-up revolution.

The woke Left seeks a top-down erasure of America, engineered by the likes of LeBron James from his $40 million estate talking revolution to Oprah at her $90 million castle, as Mark Zuckerberg throws in $500 million here, and his colleagues $400 million there, and as the top executives of Coke, Target, and Delta Airlines believe their $17 million-a-year salaries make them experts on the crimes of non-diversity, exclusion, and inequity. Anytime revolutionaries at the outset of their enterprises seek exemption from the consequences of their own ideology, we know their plans will end badly for everyone else.

Baltimore City State Attorney‘s Office Asks FCC to Censor Local News

The Baltimore City State’s Attorney’s Office, headed by the embattled Marilyn Mosby, has filed a formal complaint with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) against a local news station for alleged “blatantly slanted, dishonest, misleading, racist, and extremely dangerous” coverage in a move many believe is an attempt by Mosby to censor reporting on her own federal criminal investigation.

Race Baiter Jagmeet Singh says there’s a link between anti-maskers and far-right extremism

Federal New Democratic Party Leader Jagmeet Singh is the latest to say he believes there’s a connection between anti-mask and anti-lockdown protests and far-right extremism.

Singh’s comments come as rallies against COVID-19 health orders are being staged across the country while health professionals battle a deadly third wave of the pandemic.

“To brazenly not follow public health guidelines puts people at risk and that is something that we’ve seen with extreme right-wing ideology,” he told reporters Monday.

Bill C-10 put on hold as MPs seek clarity on whether it violates rights of social media users

The Liberal government’s controversial Bill C-10 is being put on hold as a committee of MPs seeks to determine if it could violate freedom of expression rights for social media users.

The Canadian Heritage committee, made up of Liberal, Conservative, NDP and Bloc Québécois MPs is currently studying the bill but decided to stop and ask for a new Charter statement from the Department of Justice on Monday.

The request to do so was passed through a motion that also says the committee is to hear from both David Lametti, the minister of justice, and Steven Guilbeault, the minister of heritage, and a panel of expert witnesses before continuing Bill C-10’s development.

Sabrina Maddeaux: MPs are selling out Canadian democracy to dodge COVID accountability

It’s been a rough 15 months since Canada’s first case of COVID-19. As it stands, our country’s pandemic response hovers somewhere between subpar and wondering what’d happen if we just let Polkaroo run the country for a bit. Yet amid all the anger, despair, and more anger, Canadians on both all sides of the political spectrum see a light at the end of the tunnel: voting the incompetent, corrupt, and cowardly out of office when the pandemic finally ends.

Dumbing Down Intelligence

The CIA has showed its true people-of-colors.

By now we’ve all seen the CIA’s woke recruitment video, which appears to be a comedy starring Hillary Clinton and directed by Mel Brooks. Too few, however, have paid attention to the Postal Service’s entry into the intelligence field and the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC) decision that berates the FBI for its continuing abuse of power under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA).

All of these incidents prove that something is badly wrong with our intelligence community. These things can be fixed, but they won’t be while Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are in charge.
