Why French soldiers are moving against Macron

The latest letter will send a chill through the corridors of the Elysée

Emmanuel Macron was in Strasbourg on Sunday where he addressed the Conference on the Future of Europe. This is where the president of France is happiest, describing the Utopia that he still believes can be achieved by the EU. He feels important and powerful and he is among like-minded people, such as David Sassoli, president of the European Parliament, who declared: ‘This conference is for ordinary citizens. Europe is not just for the elites, nor does it belong to them.’

For Some Arabs, Preventing Peace with Israel Is More Important Than Combating Coronavirus

Hatred for Israel (and Jews) in many Arab countries continues to take priority over economic, health and political problems. Some Arabs prefer to dedicate more time and energy to combating peace with Israel than to dealing with the deadly fallout of COVID-19 in their own backyards.

Jordan, an Arab country that signed a peace treaty with Israel in 1994, is no exception.

On March 31, Jordan reported 111 COVID-related deaths, the highest daily toll since the outbreak of the pandemic. The report came as some Jordanians took to the streets to protest the government’s failed policies, especially in healthcare and the economy.

The anti-Israel fringe group IfNotNow is under fire for throwing its support behind violent Palestinian rioters who called for Tel Aviv to be bombed and destroyed.

Business Groups Lobby Against Trump-Era Rule Blocking Chinese Tech

Major trade groups have asked the Commerce Department to nix a Trump-era rule continued by President Joe Biden that enables the government to block Chinese technology transactions.

Business groups and industry-leading technology companies have lined up in opposition of the rule, which was introduced on Jan. 19 and went into effect March 22, calling it overly broad and arguing it harms U.S. consumer interests, The Wall Street Journal reported Monday. The rule implements provisions of an executive order signed by former President Donald Trump in May 2019, giving the Commerce Department far-reaching power to block Chinese technology transactions deemed to pose a national security threat to the U.S.

Feds declare emergency after hackers use ransomware to shut down major pipeline

What happened last Friday is the sort of thing that would be considered a major terrorist attack if the goal behind it had been political. Hackers believed to be operating in Russia shut down the largest pipeline in the United States using ransomware. The Colonial Pipeline carries gasoline, diesel and jet fuel from refineries in Houston to locations as far north as New Jersey.

Has The Mainstream Media Finally Turned Against Bill Gates?

Not long after we pointed out a report from the Daily Beast which traced the tensions in the marriage of Bill and Melinda Gates to Bill’s relationship with convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, the Wall Street Journal has followed up with more reporting that confirms that Melinda Gates started consulting divorce attorneys as far back as 2019, before the pandemic thrust her husband back into the global spotlight as the world’s de facto vaccine czar.

Never mind Justin Trudeau — Conservative insiders fear Erin O’Toole’s toughest election opponent might be Doug Ford

OTTAWA–Peter Kent is pretty sure he knows why the Conservatives failed to win GTA seats in the 2019 election.

Two words: Doug Ford.

“We might have won that election but for Doug Ford’s disastrous first year,” the former cabinet minister and retiring Thornhill MP told the Star in an interview this week.

“It’s that simple. That’s what we heard at the door. We were leading in a lot of York Region ridings … up until about three weeks, four weeks before the election.

Earlier, Israeli police decided to bar Jews from visiting the compound where the mosque is located during the annual Jerusalem Day Flag March.

Patients died from neglect, not COVID-19, in Ontario LTC homes, military report finds: ‘All they needed was water and a wipe down’

Dozens of residents in two Ontario nursing homes hit hard by the coronavirus died not from COVID-19 but from dehydration and neglect, the Canadian military says in reports obtained by The Globe and Mail.

The documents contain new details about the deplorable conditions in two Toronto homes before the Forces stepped in last year, revealing for the first time that causes other than COVID-19 hastened the deaths of residents as outbreaks spiralled out of control and staffing collapsed.

Islamism: French soldiers warn of civil war in new letter

A new open letter has been published in France warning of the threat of civil war and claiming to have more than 130,000 signatures from the public.

The French government condemned it, as well as a similar letter last month.
