Society of Woke – In Greater Philadelphia, Quaker schools betray their historical values.

The Society of Friends has educated children in America since 1689, when William Penn urged his new city, Philadelphia, to open Penn Charter. Over the centuries, Quaker schools became some of the East Coast’s most prestigious educational institutions. That legacy of excellence, though, is now in jeopardy as Quaker schools embrace critical race theory, undermining more than 300 years of commitment to objective truth and betraying the tenets of Quakerism itself.

Canada on track to surpass U.S. in number of COVID cases relative to population

The U.S. has fully vaccinated 19% of its population, compared to 1.9% of the population in Canada

In a reversal of earlier pandemic trends, Canada is on the verge of matching — perhaps surpassing — the United States in the number of COVID-19 cases relative to its population.

Updated data compiled from the Johns Hopkins University COVID-19 dataset shows that the United States sits at roughly 196 COVID-19 cases per one million people, and Canada, as of Tuesday, was at 180 cases per one million people.

Photographic Evidence Shows Palestinian Leader Amin al-Husseini at a Nazi Concentration Camp

An analysis of photographs sold at a Jerusalem auction house offers new insight into the role of foreign accomplices in Hitler’s Final Solution

In 2017, Jerusalem’s Kedem auction house posted three of six previously unknown photos on the internet, in which the grand mufti of Jerusalem, Amin al-Husseini, inspects a Nazi concentration camp along with Nazi senior officials and government figures. According to the auctioneers, an expert was of the opinion that these inmates performed forced labor at the Trebbin camp near Berlin, which was, from 1942 to 1945, an SS artillery training place with a branch of the Sachsenhausen concentration camp in Oranienburg. Built after World War I as a Christian “City of Peace,” it was taken over by the SS in 1935. Among the prisoners were Jews from Hungary. Forced labor, terror and violence characterized their daily lives. Kedem hoped viewers would help identify men in the photos.

FUREY: Lockdowns cause immense harm — why keep doing them?

FUREY: Lockdowns cause immense harm — why keep doing them?

Ontario Premier Doug Ford said a lot of things on Wednesday, as he announced a crushing lockdown stricter than the previous ones. But what he didn’t say much about is the harm that’ll inevitably follow from those measures.

As much as the officials would like to ignore them, those harms are always there looming in the shadows, and they keep mounting.

Black BBC guest suggests all Republicans, all White males are automatically racist

A Black woman who went on BBC as a guest opposite Eric Bolling, the former Fox News and Sinclair Broadcasting Group host — and a White male — basically said that if you’re Republican, you’re racist; if you’re a White male, and profess to care about the Black community, you’re a liar.

This is exactly what’s wrong with Democrats in America. They throw the race card wherever, whenever, at whomever they can, without care, concern or consideration for how wrong, how very wrong, they are — or how stupid it makes them sound.

Still no answers on whether ex-GG Julie Payette can claim expenses

Julie Payette resigned from her role as governor general more than two months ago following a scathing review into allegations of workplace bullying, but there is still no clarity on whether taxpayers will be paying for expenses she may incur going forward.

While the process is now underway to find her replacement, it appears the government has yet to resolve whether Payette should get the taxpayer-funded expense account traditionally granted to former governors general. She also gets a lifelong annuity worth roughly $150,000.

China Boycotts Western Companies Over Uyghurs

China Boycotts Western Companies Over Uyghurs

The Chinese government is boycotting Western clothing retailers for expressing concerns about forced labor in Xinjiang, China’s biggest region. The companies are being pressured to scrub from their websites language about corporate policies on human rights, reverse decisions to stop buying cotton produced in Xinjian, and remove maps that depict Taiwan as an independent country.

The escalating fight comes after the European Union and the United Kingdom on March 22 joined the United States and Canada to impose sanctions on Chinese officials for human rights abuses in Xinjiang, a remote autonomous region in northwestern China.
