John Brennan, the former CIA director and perjurer who’s now an MSNBC contributor, apparently found a point on which he and his conservative critics can agree: Both sides are ashamed that he’s a white male.
Responding to an MSNBC discussion on Monday about Republican claims regarding the January 6 Capitol riot, Brennan said, “I’m increasingly embarrassed to be a white male these days, in light of what I see of my other white males saying.”
If Prime Minister Justin Trudeau wants to call an election in the middle of a pandemic with an ongoing and acute vaccine shortage, he can do it today.

The Canadian economy posted its worst showing on record in 2020 as the COVID-19 pandemic swept across the country shutting down businesses and putting people out of work.
Statistics Canada says real gross domestic product shrank 5.4 per cent in 2020, the steepest annual decline since comparable data was first recorded in 1961.
Ontario is reporting 966 cases of #COVID19 and nearly 30,800 tests completed. Locally, there are 253 new cases in Toronto, 223 in Peel and 99 in York Region.
As of 8:00 p.m. yesterday, 727,021 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered.

White House says ‘no’ to sharing vaccines with Canada and Mexico
WASHINGTON – The White House is making it abundantly clear it has no plans to share America’s COVID-19 vaccines with Canada or Mexico.
Press secretary Jen Psaki has been indicating for weeks that the Biden administration would not allow the export of doses manufactured in the U.S. any time soon.
Today, with Mexico planning to explicitly ask for help, Psaki ruled the possibility out entirely.

The headlines were about the fact that, when Megyn Kelly appeared on Bill Maher’s HBO show on Friday, she complained about the way her children’s pricey private schools in New York were indoctrinating them with pro-transgender values and anti-white animus. Bill Maher to his credit, agreed with Kelly that matters are getting seriously out of hand, at least when it comes to the anti-white hatred that’s becoming the norm in education. Maher’s always been a bit of maverick, though. The real surprise was the enthusiasm his audience showed for that sentiment.
Joe Biden, the open borders president, is proposing amnesty legislation to provide the 11 million plus illegal aliens in this country a pathway to citizenship. During his CNN-hosted town hall meeting on February 17, Biden confirmed that such a pathway for citizenship must be included in any immigration bill that he would consider signing. The term “alien” would no longer be used in U.S. immigration law. Until the illegal aliens successfully complete the path to U.S. citizenship under Biden’s “reform” legislation, they are to be referred to as “noncitizen,” which is defined as “any person not a citizen or national of the United States.”

Politics often involves strange-bedfellow alliances, and the bedfellows in the case of U.S. immigration policy are the strangest of all. Open-border leftists who denounce the very idea of nation-states as racist find themselves on the same side when it comes to immigration law enforcement as exploitative employers of workers in agribusiness, construction, and the hotel and hospitality industries. Old-fashioned pro-labor liberals concerned that unskilled immigration has been weaponized by employers against American workers are on the other side of the divide, along with a small but noisy group of white nationalists who lament the decline of the white majority and fantasize about Caucasian ethnostates. For their part, environmentalists used to be against mass immigration until doing so became politically incorrect; today’s Green Malthusians therefore warn against the overpopulation of the United States as a result of citizens having too many children, while saying nothing about importing tens or hundreds of millions of new residents from abroad.
