Windsor pastor charged for breaking COVID-19 rules, church says it’s ‘discriminatory’

Police have charged a Windsor pastor with breaking COVID-19 rules following a church service last Sunday.

On Thursday, Harvest Bible Church said in a news release that lead pastor Rev. Aaron Rock was charged under the Reopening Ontario Act by Windsor police.

“To our knowledge this is the first time that any Ontario pastor has been charged for fulfilling his God-assigned duties at a church,” the news release reads.

Eric Swalwell and the truth of communist infiltration in the USA

Eric Swalwell and the truth of communist infiltration in the USA

Recent revelations about Eric Swalwell’s relationship with a Chinese spy are another reminder of the power of the Deep State.  Nancy Pelosi picked Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) for the House Intelligence Committee.  Swalwell’s relationship with Fang Fang began sometime after Fang arrived in the U.S. as a student in 2011, before Swalwell was elected to Congress.  He was a city councilman.  It ended in 2015 when the FBI informed him that Fang was a spy and she suddenly left the country.  Fang targeted young ambitious politicians who had the potential to gain national prominence.  According to one U.S. intelligence official, Fang engaged in “romantic” relationships with at least two mayors of Midwestern cities.  This program is designed to pay off several decades in the future.  There were 369,548 Chinese students in the United States in 2018–2019.  These figures suggest that the number of Chinese agents may number in the thousands.

The Real Stakes of the War on Christmas

If only Americans would “listen to the science” and stop believing in “superstitions.”

This year the annual attacks on Christmas went beyond complaints about holiday salutations or public creches. Blue-state governors and mayors like California’s Gavin Newsom and government clerks like Anthony Fauci have issued diktats forbidding even private celebrations of Christmas by more than one family at a time. These orders follow on this year’s lockdown protocols that made liquor stores, pot dispensaries, and violent protests “essential,” while church services were verboten.

Why I won’t be closing my church this Christmas – I won’t again abandon my congregation in their hour of need

One of the simple joys of having a bundle of church keys is that you can wander around in the building when others have gone home. Over lockdown, it has been my retreat from noisy children, an office, a sanctuary and a place to think. It is also where I get to say things out loud, testing thoughts out on the silence. “Please, help me!” I said to the altar the other night, more in anger than in expectation. I was surprised how it came out. Too direct to feel like a prayer, it sounded more of a demand I suppose. Or rather, the kind of demand that feels the presence of defeat at the door. News was just in that the husband of one of my congregation had just been killed by Covid. Another death in the parish.

The world will suffer ‘cataclysms and disasters’ in 2021 and a ‘strong dragon’ will seize humanity but a cure for cancer will also be found, according to blind Balkan mystic Baba Vanga who ‘predicted 9/11’

2020 was a year that turned the world on its head – but anyone hoping for respite in 2021 may have to think again, at least according to predictions made by blind Bulgarian mystic Baba Vanga.

The supposed clairvoyant predicted that the world will suffer from ‘a lot of cataclysms and great disasters’ in 2021 as three ‘giants’ unite and a ‘strong dragon’ seizes humanity.

‘Difficult times will come,’ the mystic is said to have predicted before her own death in 1996, adding that ‘people will be divided by their faith’.

Our Upside-Down Postelection World

Our Upside-Down Postelection World

After Nov. 3, the meaning of some words and concepts abruptly changed. Have you noticed how new realities have replaced old ones?

Media cross-examination of the president is now an out-of-date idea. The time for gotcha questions has come and gone. Why ask a president whether he is a traitor or a crook when you can focus on his favorite flavor of milkshake or compliment him on his socks?

US election 2020: FBI links Iran to websites targeting poll officials

US election 2020: FBI links Iran to websites targeting poll officials

Iranian cyber actors were “almost certainly” behind a number of websites and social media accounts which contained death threats against senior officials in charge of securing and managing the 2020 election, two US security agencies have announced.

In a joint statement published on 23 December, the FBI and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (Cisa) said they were in possession of “highly credible information” indicating Iran was responsible for the operation.

The operation “demonstrates an ongoing Iranian intent to create divisions and mistrust in the United States and undermine public confidence in the US electoral process”, it added.

2020 Hindsight – Matthew Lau: Progressives’ year of planning blindly

It has been a busy year for progressives. At the start of the year, Justin Trudeau was lecturing people on standing up for gender equality; by mid-year he was kneeling in solidarity with BLM. Now, as the year draws to a close, he is telling everyone to rise back up to confront the existential global warming crisis. Throughout the standing, kneeling, and rising the federal government nearly doubled its spending to pay for mandated economic shutdowns and to “reset” the country in a more feminist, intersectional, and climate-friendly direction. It is unclear what kind of calisthenics Mr. Trudeau has planned for us next year.

Christmas Cheer: Poll Shows Liberals Lacking Enough Support to Secure a Majority Election Win

Christmas Cheer: Poll Shows Liberals Lacking Enough Support to Secure a Majority Election Win

A new poll suggests that although the Liberal government may have gained a slight lead in popularity due to its handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, it may not be enough for them to win a majority.

The survey, conducted by Ipsos between Dec. 11 and Dec. 14, asked 1,000 randomly-selected Canadians aged 18 and above via an online interview which political party they would most likely support if a federal election was held.
