Trudeau’s Intrusion Into Provincial Affairs Reaches A New Level

Not only does the latest expansion of the social safety net by the Liberal government, as part of its accord with the NDP, intrude into areas of provincial jurisdiction. It flouts the wisdom of Lester B. Pearson.

During the comprehensive expansion of health care, welfare and pensions in the 1960s, the federal Liberals deferred to provincial needs and interests, by making Ottawa smaller and the provinces more self-sufficient.

Justin Trudeau prefers to strong-arm. The country will pay a price.

Canada’s New Climate Plan Calls For 42% Cut In Emissions From Oil And Gas Sector

Trudeau’s plan promises to make a carbon-capture tax credit available to the industry by 2022, details of which will be released “soon.” It doesn’t however, include specifics on the emissions cap the government plans to impose on the fossil-fuel sector, which accounts for about a tenth of Canada’s total economic output.

Public School Indoctrination Is Real: 4th Grade Teacher in Austin Told Her Peers 63% of Her Class Came Out as LGBTQIA+

The goal of the Cultural Marxists behind the LGBTQIA+ Supremacy push is to indoctrinate vulnerable children into embracing destructive anti-Biblical lifestyles. They have to get them when they’re young before they start forming their own ideas; prepubescent children are the easiest to convert into falsely believing they are somehow part of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Insanity Wrap: Biden’s COVID Relief ‘The Biggest Fraud in a Generation’

Many who participated in what prosecutors are calling the largest fraud in U.S. history — the theft of hundreds of billions of dollars in taxpayer money intended to help those harmed by the coronavirus pandemic — couldn’t resist purchasing luxury automobiles. Also mansions, private jet flights and swanky vacations.

None of the $100M promised to Ontario tourism businesses has been delivered

Six months after Ontario’s tourism industry was promised $100 million to help it recover from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, not a penny of that money has flowed to businesses.

CBS News, Weather Channel Strike Climate Content Alliance

CBS News hasn’t put the same kind of spotlight on weather as many of its rivals, but that may all be about to change as quickly as a shift in the wind.

The Paramount Global news unit is teaming with The Weather Channel to bring more reporting on weather and climate to CBS News programs including “CBS Mornings” and “The CBS Evening News,” as well as the division’s streaming efforts. Some of the most popular Weather Channel personalities — including Stephanie Abrams, Jim Cantore and Mike Bettes — are likely to turn up on CBS News programs in reports that originate from Weather Channel’s Atlanta headquarters. CBS viewers will also get to see augmented-reality technology that helps depict what a specific community might look like while in the midst of a tornado, snow or rain. The two media outlets will also team up to cover weather and climate news in deeper fashion as circumstances warrant.

Alaska will not verify voter signatures in first-ever statewide mail-in election

Nationally, the most common way of verifying mail-in ballots is to have elections officials verify that a voter’s signature matches the signature on file with the division of elections. In Nevada, for instance, signature verification is performed on every ballot received. If the signature is missing or if the signature on the ballot return envelope does not match the signature on file for the voter, the ballot will not be counted until the voter verifies their signature.

Why even bother, just install the liberal.

Postponing the federal carbon tax hike is an inflation break that Ottawa could and should deliver

Recent calls for Ottawa to scrap its planned April 1 carbon price hike could easily be viewed as opportunistic attempts from opponents to turn back the clock on government fossil-fuel measures. Or cynical appeals to segments of the electorate who question the value of carbon taxation. Or self-serving lobbying from business interests who have a knee-jerk objection to any tax increase.

Which all could be true. But delaying the increase could also be a very good, very practical idea – one that even the supporters of the federal carbon tax should embrace.

Hunter Biden’s Laptops Are Now An Active National Security Threat

On Friday, The Daily Mail reported that emails recovered from Hunter Biden’s laptop show he helped an infectious disease research company pursue projects in Ukraine. Those emails confirm portions of charges Russia made the previous day that an investment group run by the now-president’s son had funded a company conducting research at biological laboratories in Ukraine.

While these developments add another scandal to the long list of Biden family dirty laundry, the more urgent concern for the country should be the continuing threat to our national security posed by a compromised President Biden and the possibility that Russia has access to the catalog of compromising material contained on Hunter’s laptop.

Totality of California’s Proposed COVID Laws Would be Most Aggressive In the Nation

Numerous fast-tracked bills in the California Legislature involve forced COVID-19 vaccinations for children for school enrollment, allowing minor children to make their own vaccine decisions away from a parent, requiring health care staff to complete cultural humility training to provide trans-inclusive health care, and, another would force law enforcement officials to enforce public health orders.

And this is being done with the Legislature waiving the 30-day in print rule so that bills can be acted upon more quickly.

Putin Will Deliver An Energy Shock Worse Than The 1970s, Warns Andrew Bailey

Speaking at an event in Brussels, the Bank of England Governor said: “This really is an historic shock to real incomes. The shock from energy prices this year will be larger than every single year in the 1970s.”

Vladimir Putin’s warmongering and resulting sanctions have sparked a huge surge in oil and gas prices, piling further pressure on households at a time when inflation is at a 30-year high.

Zelensky – Who is Pulling his Strings?

This is clearly a war against Russia and it has been the dream of the Neocons. It is hard to imagine why Zelensky is putting his entire country at risk over simply honoring the Minsk Agreement and lettering the Donbas to vote on their separation. Zelensky has been part of the corruption – all Ukrainians thought they were getting rid of no doubt. Zelensky has been turned into a global celebrity and he loves it while cashing in. These people desperately trying to create World War III, wanted to nominate Zelensky for the Nobel Peace Prize for refusing to negotiate in good faith? Meanwhile, Biden will NOT tell Americans why Ukraine matters. All he does is say Putin is evil. How does that affect Americans at home?
