University of Michigan Professor: Taliban Doesn’t Equal Islam, News Coverage ‘Disserves a Great Religion’

Well, this was inevitable: As the Taliban have taken power in Afghanistan and declared their intention to impose Islamic law, the American establishment media has swung into action, ready as always to exonerate Islam of all responsibility for the crimes done in its name and in accord with its teachings. And so it was that USA Today on Saturday published an article by one Hamid Khan, whose résumé is as predictable as it is revealing: He is “an adjunct professor of Islamic law at the University of Michigan Law, a national security fellow with the Truman National Security Project and an attorney with the U.S. government.” Of course he is. And he is here to tell us that the “Taliban doesn’t equal Islam,” and to complain that “news coverage of Afghanistan disserves a great religion.”

After the Fall – The people running the country are incompetent. Is there a leader left in America?

When the Impossible War ended, I was in a cabin in the woods in Oregon. Towering pines, unpaved roads, canyons, creeks, a crystalline moonlight that stretched across the hamlets and orchards and interstates and the farm dogs roaming around outside low-lying barns.

It was called the Forever War, but that was misleading. The problem wasn’t just that it had dragged on for so long. It was that it had attempted to do something that could not be done.

Where are the Feminists?

While the Taliban barbarically repress women in Afghanistan, toxic feminists wage a war against American men.

Freedom Center Shillman Fellow Bruce Bawer’s excellent Frontpage article “Where Are the Gays?” paints a chilling portrait of the imminent torture, execution and amputations that await gay men under Taliban rulership in Afghanistan. And, of course, western gays are silent. Many are too busy hooking up on multiple sex apps. Many have never been concerned with rights that extend beyond the erogenous zones of their genitalia, and several are too busy celebrating the pedophilia presented in the best-selling young adult pornographic novel, Jack of Hearts (and Other Parts), as a moral victory over heteronormative patriarchy.

Biden asks for ‘contingency plans’ to extend Afghanistan withdrawal in stunning reversal

In an abrupt about-face, President Joe Biden has asked defense officials to put together “contingency plans” for keeping American forces on the ground in Afghanistan beyond the end of this month — despite claiming earlier Tuesday that the White House would abide by the Taliban’s “red line” of a full withdrawal by Aug. 31.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki told reporters that while Biden had asked for the backup plans, he believes the US is “on track to accomplish our mission” by the Aug. 31 deadline he set to have all American forces out of the country after two decades of conflict.

The Taliban reward Biden’s deadline appeasement with new aggression

President Joe Biden, on Tuesday, refused the request of allies to extend an Aug. 31 deadline for the withdrawal of U.S. citizens and allies from Afghanistan.

The Taliban have quickly rewarded Biden’s appeasement. Politico’s Lara Seligman and Alex Thompson reported that the Taliban are increasing their obstruction of Americans and Afghans who are attempting to access Kabul’s airport.

France: Afghan Refugee ‘Obviously Linked’ to Taliban Arrested in Paris

An Afghani man who was recently flown from Kabul to Paris has been detained by French police over suspected links to the Taliban and after failing to comply with a quarantine order, authorities confirmed.

French Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin announced on Tuesday that among five Afghan refugees who had been placed under strict surveillance by the General Directorate for Internal Security (DGSI), one refugee left the monitoring place “for a few minutes” and was taken into custody for questioning.

Canada ‘ready to stay’ in Afghanistan ‘if at all possible’ past Aug. 31 deadline set by U.S. says weasel worded Trudeau

Tell Justin it’s Kabul Pride Week! That’ll get him over there in a flash.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says Canada is prepared to keep its military personnel in Afghanistan after an Aug. 31 deadline set by the Americans for the withdrawal of their troops.

Trudeau made the announcement after meeting today in a virtual summit with fellow G7 leaders who were convening to discuss the crisis and the re-emergence of the Taliban as the country’s rulers.

“Canada is ready to stay beyond the Aug. 31 deadline if at all possible.

If at all possible? In other words not bloody likely but there’s an election so he’ll try to sound tough. No one trusts a word Justin says, not even Justin.

Here’s his out – US military has reportedly started pulling troops from Afghanistan — as Biden admin reportedly tells anyone left after 8/31 that they’re ‘on their own’

‘Go to hell, Biden’: Stranded man slams president for Afghanistan chaos

A desperate civilian trapped in Afghanistan under Taliban rule has slammed President Biden’s “ill calculation” for the chaos — as he stands beside two young siblings abandoned in Kabul after their parents lost them in the scramble at the airport, heartbreaking video shows.

The cowering and crying brother and sister were reportedly left behind when their parents entered the airport at the capital without them during the pandemonium, the distressing footage from ITV News shows.

A man who appeared to be caring for the children said that what has happened in Afghanistan after the Taliban recaptured the country was Biden’s fault.

“… The Kandahar native says he is deeply grateful for what Canada has done so far in exchange for his perilous work a decade ago, and loves the Canadian people. But he warns that “your government put us in the line of execution,” and wishes it would find another solution for moving its Afghan allies out of Afghanistan.

Last chance to get out of Kabul: ‘Tollybon Joe’ Biden rejects pleas from G7 leaders to extend Afghan evacuation beyond Aug31st

President Joe Biden on Tuesday rejected pleas from G7 leaders to extend the Kabul evacuation and has insisted US troops will leave by August 31, after the Taliban issued a chilling warning to western forces who stay.

The move now gives the Biden administration just seven days to evacuate thousands of American citizens and Afghan allies still stranded on the ground and fighting to escape the chaos at the airport.

The US ramped up the airlift by evacuating 21,600 people in the last 24 hours, but they still don’t know the exact number that still need to be flown out – and now time is rapidly running out. Even Democrats including Adam Schiff have said it is ‘unlikely’ the mission to evacuate will succeed.
