The Gulag Beckons

The knife descends in the dark—not the theatrical blade of some cinematic villain but the cold, ideological steel wielded by the new totalitarians: leftist zealots, Islamo-fascists, trans activists, and the corporate-state hydra that shields them. In England, writing (and then deleting) a furious tweet after little girls were murdered earns a woman a prison sentence. In Canada, a pastor is dragged from his pulpit for reading Leviticus aloud. In France, a conservative philosopher is de-platformed before he can utter a syllable; in Poland, a journalist is fired for citing demographic data. The pattern is global, relentless, and accelerating.

Cancel culture comes out of the barrel of a gun

The murder of Charlie Kirk showed how desperate and dangerous woke culture warriors became in 2025.

On balance, all things considered, are you for or against the cold-blooded murder of a young father-of-two, for saying the ‘wrong’ thing?

It is a sign of the degraded state of our public debate that, in 2025, that question became a live issue. Many on the left sought to justify, and even celebrated, the assassination of American conservative activist Charlie Kirk in September, shot dead while defending free speech at Utah Valley University.

The Left-wing terror group behind a plot to blow up California

At around 10am on Dec 12 a group of four Left-wing extremists parked up in California’s Mojave Desert and went to work.

As they unloaded their cars, stickers saying “free Palestine” lay scattered on two small trestle tables, along with bags of charcoal powder, sulphur and suspected potassium nitrate.

Members of the pro-Palestinian activist group Turtle Island Liberation Front had driven out into the Lucerne Valley to practise making pipe bombs as part of “Operation Midnight Sun”, a New Year’s Eve terror plot to target two US companies, according to a criminal complaint.

‘You see this news?’: What Charlie Kirk’s alleged killer told friends after the attack

Fifty-five minutes before he allegedly shot and killed right-wing political activist Charlie Kirk, Tyler Robinson was bragging about his success playing the online puzzle game Wordle.

It was the morning of Sept. 10. Robinson had guessed the answer — “pouty” — on his third attempt. He sent his results and a celebratory meme to a friend, who responded with a meme of his own and conceded that it had taken him five tries.

By then, according to prosecutors, Robinson had already driven three hours from his home in southern Utah with a high-powered rifle. He was about to make his way onto the campus of Utah Valley University, where Kirk was set to speak to a crowd outdoors.

Charlie Kirk suspected killer made blasé brag to friends just FIFTY FIVE minutes before conservative star was assassinated

The man accused of assassinating Charlie Kirk bragged about his successes playing an online word game less than an hour before the conservative star was shot dead.

Tyler Robinson successfully completed a Wordle puzzle on September 10, the same day he allegedly killed Kirk, a friend told the Washington Post.

Wordle is popular daily puzzle game in which users try to guess a five-letter word in six attempts or less.

Foiled Left-Wing Terrorist Attack Must Be The Beginning, Not End, Of Trump’s Antifa Crackdown

Four far-left extremists face a myriad of conspiracy and other felony charges for allegedly plotting a series of New Year’s Eve bombings followed by a similar ambush on Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers in Los Angeles.

The alleged attacks, hatched by the so-called pro-Palestine Turtle Island Liberation Front, were discovered by law enforcement after four of its members were allegedly caught testing out the pipe bombs they planned to plant at five LA businesses.

Charlie Kirk murder accused makes first in-person court appearance

The man accused of killing conservative activist Charlie Kirk at a Utah campus in September has made his first in-person court appearance, as a judge deliberated on the extent of media access to the high-profile case.

Attorneys for Tyler Robinson, 22, and the Utah County Sheriff’s Office had asked the judge to ban cameras in court out of concern that news coverage could prejudice a fair trial.

Kirk’s widow and a coalition of national and local news organisations pushed for transparency and a judge agreed on Thursday to allow cameras in court.

Jennifer Welch is not the voice Democrats need

Jennifer Welch’s rise isn’t mysterious. It just looks that way to Democratic elites confused by a failed-reality-star-turned-podcaster commanding real influence. The reason is that she’s not interested in their rules.

The line “when they go low, we go high” defined how party leaders wanted to be seen during the first Trump administration. As technology kept eroding legacy media’s power, MAGA set about building parallel institutions. The Left, by contrast, stayed inside the gates, relying on the power it already held.

The woke Left can’t see white without seeing red

Only the terminally online can turn Pantone’s mundane ‘colour of the year’ announcement into a race row

As I’ve long maintained, the single most pressing question of the 21st century is this: has social media driven millions of people stark-staring bonkers, or were millions of people always stark-staring bonkers but we just didn’t realise it until they had social media?

I can’t say for certain. But it does very much feel as if the online world is growing barmier by the day. And for proof, look at the reaction to Pantone announcing its “colour of the year”.

Newly unsealed images, taken by law enforcement, show more of what Luigi Mangione, the defendant accused of gunning down the CEO of UnitedHealthcare, Brian Thompson, carried in his backpack when he was taken into custody exactly one year ago, on December 9, 2024 at an Altoona, Pennsylvania McDonald’s.

“1. Check Pittsburgh – red eyes… ideally to Columbus or Cincin (get off early)… keep momentum, FBI slower overnight,” a handwritten note reads that was found inside Mr. Mangione’s black backpack.

DC pipe bomb suspect admits to planting devices outside DNC, RNC: sources

WASHINGTON — The Virginia man charged with planting pipe bombs at the headquarters of the Democratic and Republican National Committees on the eve of the Capitol riot confessed to the crime on Thursday afternoon, sources tell The Post.

Brian Cole Jr., 30, will make an initial appearance in DC federal court Friday afternoon to be formally arraigned on charges of transporting explosives across state lines with intent to kill, injure and cause damage and attempted malicious destruction by means of explosive materials.

Alleged Pipe Bomber’s Family Sued Trump DHS Over Illegal Immigration, Asked Biden DOJ To Address Racism

Brian Cole, Jr. worked for a bail bonds company run by his father that worked to free illegal immigrants from ICE facilities and sued the Trump administration’s Department of Homeland Security.

Weeks before 30-year-old Cole Jr. allegedly planted pipe bombs at the headquarters of the Democrat and Republican parties on January 5, 2021, a court ruled against the company in its lawsuit attacking the Trump administration on immigration issues, The Daily Wire has learned. An FBI affidavit in the case notes that the suspect works for a bail bond company and lives with his mother.

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson: “I Have Inherited a White-Supremacist System”

Looking forward to Looting Season.

The city’s mayor headlined a conference where activists celebrated armed resistance in Gaza, the Philippines, and the United States.

Last month, activists packed the Chicago Teachers Union Center for the annual conference of the National Alliance Against Racist & Political Repression (NAARPR). Attendees gathered to discuss fighting ICE and confronting the Trump administration.

Despite NAARPR’s relative obscurity—it was founded in 1973 to agitate for the release of Angela Davis and has since become a catch-all activist organization—the group’s conference featured several high-profile speakers, including Chicago mayor Brandon Johnson, who claimed to have inherited a “white supremacist system.” The event was hosted by the Chicago Teachers Union, one of Johnson’s most aggressive backers.

The Oxford student who mocked Charlie Kirk still hasn’t learnt his lesson

As a result of his response to the murder of a leading conservative activist – “Charlie Kirk got shot loool” – George Abaraonye will no longer get to serve as the president of the Oxford Union debating society. I’m sure we all agree that this represents a profound loss to the field of philosophical inquiry. Especially now we’ve been told what Mr Abaraonye had been planning to do during his term of office. According to reports, the Oxford PPE undergraduate had intended to hold a debate about the hanging of British flags in public – under the title, “This house believes that flying the flag betrays Great British values.”
