WATCH: Raskin Explains Why Dems Are Pursing Impeachment 2.0

“The Constitution talks about conviction, and removal, and disqualification from holding further public office. I don’t think anybody would seriously argue that we should establish a precedent where every president on the way out the door, has two weeks, or three weeks, or four weeks, to try to incite an armed insurrection against the union or organize a coup against the union and, if it succeeds, he becomes a dictator, and if he fails, he’s not subject to impeachment or conviction because we just want to let bygones be bygones,” Raskin explained to CNN’s Jake Tapper.

The left’s ‘urge to purge’ response to the Capitol assault

Once again refusing to let a crisis “go to waste,” the left is looking to use the Capitol assault to purge anyone who doesn’t agree with it.

The feds have charged more than 70 people and opened nearly 200 files. That’s all to the good: Rioters should face arrest and even prison time. (That should hold for Antifa rioters too, of course, and for thugs who took advantage of Black Lives Matter protests to become violent, destroying businesses and even lives. Too bad the left doesn’t see that.)

Bill Gates Is About To Change The Way America Farms

One of my favorite Clint Eastwood movies is the 1999 mystery/thriller True Crime. In it, the four-time Academy Award winner plays an over-the-hill journalist who has “a nose” for a story. I am quite confident that Eastwood’s character, Steve Everett, would have picked up the stench from this setup a mile off: a $171 million acquisition by an LLC with two employees in a metal-sided building down a dirt road off the Bayou Teche?

I forwarded the lead to our Land Report 100 Research Team. Minutes later, a terse response arrived:

“Ever hear of Bill Gates?”

Some Democrats in Congress are worried their colleagues might kill them

After last week’s deadly assault on the U.S. Capitol by supporters of President Donald Trump, members of Congress are expressing something once unthinkable: that some of their own colleagues may be endangering their lives. Not in a rhetorical sense, but in a direct and immediate way.

They are floating the idea of a GOP purge.

Biden COVID-19 relief plan is a Trojan horse for a sweeping liberal agenda

President-elect Joe Biden just unveiled his proposal for a $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief package. Democrats insist it is targeted to respond to the crisis and only full of “commonsense” measures and much-needed emergency spending.

Yet, even a cursory glance at the specifics of the package reveals that it’s a Trojan horse for a sweeping liberal agenda that Biden could never otherwise get passed.

Dem Rep: ‘Violent And Unstable’ Trump Should Try To ‘De-Radicalize His Supporters’

“The President, you know, continues to be a very violent and unstable man. The overwhelming communications that have come out of this president have been violent and inciteful rhetoric,” Crow began. “We didn’t get to Jan. 6 overnight. This just didn’t happen in one day. This happened over years. The president has been building this. He has been radicalizing his most fringe supporters. You know, he started with dogwhistles and now this outright rhetoric by him and his top supporters. So talk is really cheap right now.”

Disney to stop donations to Republicans who opposed certification of Electoral College vote

A Disney spokesperson said in a statement, “The insurrection at our nation’s Capitol was a direct assault on one of our country’s most revered tenets: the peaceful transition of power. In the immediate aftermath of that appalling siege, Members of Congress had an opportunity to unite—an opportunity that some sadly refused to embrace. In light of these events, we have decided we will not make political contributions in 2021 to lawmakers who voted to reject the certification of the Electoral College votes.”

Hollywood Elites and Violent Thoughts

Big Tech’s rush to take down and ban social media accounts or de-platform entire websites that they believe in some way caused the horrible rioting at the Capitol is based on fear — that Joe Biden’s inauguration will devolve into another riot. Or that there will be riots at state capitols.

Social media platforms such as Twitter are only focused on President Donald Trump and his millions of devoted fans. They don’t seem to focus on violent thoughts on the left, most prominently the Hollywood left. Apparently, their violent thoughts are never plausibly dangerous; no one could ever be incited by them.

“Unless these white terrorists are arrested NOW – en masse – there will be people killed between now and Inauguration Day. I can’t stress this enough,” activist and liberal Filmmaker Michael Moore writes on Facebook and repeats in a video posted on social media.

Silence Will Be the Next Hate Crime

Attacking so-called “hate speech” has proven an effective Trojan horse technique by BLM and Antifa social justice warriors, who have incorporated Critical Race Theory (CRT) into their pernicious plans to dismantle the Constitution. After all, who wants to defend hate speech? But connecting the jurisprudential dots reveals that the whiter-than-snow “cause” of inner-city black suffering is the battering ram to bypass the very liberties that nurtured the abolitionist and Civil Rights movements. Might this chaos extend even to the point of criminalizing silence as hate speech?
