Dem Mayor in Bloomberg’s Anti-Gun Group Denies Knowledge of Drug Dealing Husband’s Assault Rifle

The media likes to hold up Rochester as a model for various reform efforts. Why? Because people would laugh too hard if they used Detroit.

Rochester is demolishing highways. It’s advocating police defunding. It’s advancing race reparations.

All of these bold experiments depend on the mayor not going to prison.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez reveals she is in therapy after the Capitol riot that she believes was an ‘all-out attempted coup’

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has revealed she is in therapy after the Capitol Riot that she has described as an ‘all-out attempted coup’.

The Squad member told the Latino USA podcast that she is learning to ‘slow down’ and indicated her colleagues in the House are still too scared to talk about what happened on January 6.

‘Oh yeah, I’m doing therapy but also I’ve just slowed down. I think the Trump administration had a lot of us, especially Latino communities, in a very reactive mode,’ she said.

Lori Lightfoot Announces She’s a Racist and Legal Action Could Follow

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot isn’t even hiding the ball at this point. While her city continues to mimic a common dumpster fire, according to multiple reports, she’s decided that being an overt racist is the right path forward. Lightfoot’s spokeswoman asserted that the mayor will only grant interviews to “black and brown people” while refusing to speak to any white journalists.

The Capitol Riot Rorschach Test

On Wednesday, Rep. Andrew Clyde (R-Ga.) shocked leftists on Twitter by claiming that “there was no insurrection” on January 6, 2021. He noted that many of those who entered the Capitol that day behaved like tourists. The Twitterati were aghast that someone could say such a thing, but Clyde had a point. Of course, the Capitol riot was a dark day in American history, but the Left has exaggerated it far out of proportion.

David Staples: Disturbing link between Canadian myopia and dictator oil grabbing ever more market share

Canadians are getting it wrong on oil and gas production in one self-defeating way — we’re disturbingly myopic.

We see clearly our own failings but we overlook far greater failings of many of our oil and gas competitors. We’re like the handsome teenager who feels like crap and refuses to go to the school dance just because of one pimple on their chin.

Tim Scott and the progressive bigots

For saying ‘America is not a racist country’, Scott has been branded an Uncle Tom.

The rebuttal speech to a US president’s address to Congress is usually a non-event. Not this year. Republican senator Tim Scott provided a solid, policy-filled response to Joe Biden’s speech marking his first 100 days in the White House. But the remarks by Scott, an African-American, on the use of race in American politics are what really set it apart, especially when he declared that ‘America is not a racist country’. That simple statement, which in the recent past would have been uncontroversial, led to a deluge of frothing-at-the-mouth outrage from those who are convinced that the US is fundamentally and irredeemably racist.

The Tribalist Left: When will the “antiracists” start rooting out the bigots in their own ranks?

Most Americans agree that racism in any form is abhorrent. But in recent weeks, far too many who call themselves “antiracists” have inflamed racial tensions with antiwhite bigotry that’s every bit as disgusting as what they claim to oppose. When will the antiracists start rooting out the bigots in their own ranks?

Cancel Linda Thomas-Greenfield!

The US Ambassador to the United Nations seems to hate her country

Two weeks ago, while speaking to Reverend Al Sharpton’s National Action Network, America’s Ambassador to the United Nations said ‘When we raise issues of equity and justice at the global scale, we have to approach them with humility. We have to acknowledge that we are an imperfect union – and have been since the beginning – and every day we strive to make ourselves more perfect, and more just.’

Only white people can be racist: Inside Global Affairs’ anti-racism course materials

Only white people can be racist: Inside Global Affairs’ anti-racism course materials

“Objectivity” and “worship of the written word” are being taught to Canadian diplomats as markers of “white supremacy”

Monday’s federal budget included a massive expansion of race-based programming, including a new drive for race-focused data collection, funding earmarked for what Ottawa is calling “equity deserving groups” and even a plan to prioritize government procurement from “Black-owned businesses.”

It’s a ramping up of an initiative first begun in 2019, when the Government of Canada began rolling out antiracism training within its departments in a bid to combat a federal bureaucracy that they asserted was shot through with “systemic racism.” Ottawa’s focus on antiracism training became all the more acute after worldwide Black Lives Matter protests prompted by the death of Minneapolis man George Floyd in police custody, which was reflected in the more than $300 million put towards “equity” programs in the 2021 budget.

Politically Punking Hollywood

Politically Punking Hollywood

Too few artists—indeed, too few people—have the moral courage to live without the need for external validation, especially in our social media-riven age.

Iwas honored recently to be invited on the “Political Punks” podcast, joining Bret R. Smith, Lisa DePasquale, Chris Baron, and Matt Palumbo. I highly recommend the show, especially the episodes in which I do not appear.

During our discussion of the current cancel culture climate, we touched upon the rank hypocrisy of the entertainment industry. Specifically, we discussed how the Hollywood celebrities and power brokers rushing to harangue Georgia for both promoting and protecting the voting process, are the same wealthy elitists filming in genocidal communist China and kowtowing to the Beijing regime’s racist dictates erasing persons of color and pro-American messaging from films.

Dershowitz: Maxine Waters‘ Tactics ‘Borrowed Precisely from the Ku Klux Klan‘

Tuesday on Newsmax TV’s “Stinchfield,” Harvard law professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz addressed Rep. Maxine Waters’ (D-CA) tactics amid the Derek Chauvin trial, saying she is trying to “influence” and “intimidate” the jury.

Dershowitz said Waters is taking a page out of the Ku Klux Klan’s playbook to influence court cases by threatening violence.

‘Cancel Rent’ Champion Ayanna Pressley Raked in Thousands as Landlord, Records Show

The progressive congresswoman Ayanna Pressley (D., Mass.) has called rent cancellation legislation “literally a matter of life and death.” At the same time, she has collected cash from her own rental properties.

Pressley and her husband made as much as $15,000 in rental income in 2019 after purchasing a $658,000 Boston home, according to property records and financial disclosures reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon. The income appears to come over the course of four months—the unit was first listed for $2,500 a month in June 2019 and the posting was removed in August
