The View: Until U.S. Has Racial Reckoning, Impossible to Unite Like 9/11

No one has ever accused the cast of ABC’s The View of being truly reflective or the pinnacle of civility on daytime TV. Yet on Monday’s show, in the wake of America remembering the tragedy of September 11, 2001, the cast was perplexed by the apparent loss of civility and unity in the country. One co-host even suggested that until America had a racial reckoning for slavery, we would NEVER be able to replicate that kind of unity.

SC Democrats call on their party’s US Senate nominee to quit after Krystle Matthews exposed as Racist Crank

Racist As Fuck Krystle Matthews

… Sitting in a restaurant, Matthews, who is Black, is heard saying that she represents a “mostly white” district, adding, of white voters: “I keep them right here — like under my thumbs. … Otherwise, they get out of control — like kids.”

“You ought to know who you’re dealing with,” Matthews goes on to say. “You’ve got to treat them like s—-. That’s the only way they’ll respect you.”

Bishop Garrison: Biden’s Racist Tool for a Military Purge

“One extremist is one too many,” Bishop Garrison told a Center for American Progress seminar.

“One extremist is one too many,” Bishop Garrison told a Center for American Progress seminar.

Garrison, the man tasked by the Biden administration with fighting “extremism” in the military, had reversed Blackstone’s ratio, “It is better that ten guilty persons escape than that one innocent suffer.” It was better to wreck the careers of a million soldiers to find one extremist.

FUREY: Just how broad is the Laith Marouf problem?

The rot starts at the top.

It’s a good thing the Liberal government has admitted a mistake in doling out grants to something called the Community Media Advocacy Centre (CMAC). But now the question becomes how broad of a problem are we dealing with here.

Anyone involved in approving implementation, managing, teaching or otherwise supporting the CRT/anti-racism scam in anyway within Canada’s public sector should be regarded as a vile racist like Marouf and immediately terminated.

Why Nigeria’s ban on foreign models won’t work

Some in the British and American media have interpreted Nigeria’s prohibition on the use of foreign models as a ban on white people and foreign accents, and an attempt to free ourselves from a colonial mentality.

But this ignores the fact that there are many Nigerians at home and abroad with British and American accents – authentic or fake – as well as some Nigerians who are blonde-haired and blue-eyed.

My good friend, Jackie Farris, was born to white American parents in Florida in the US, but has made Nigeria her permanent residence for more than 25 years, and has a green Nigerian passport to show for it.

Great! Can we ban Africans now? How about Asians?

Ottawa improving vetting process to keep Heritage grants away from groups too obviously promoting hate says incompetent Hussen

Housing, Diversity and Inclusion Minister Ahmed Hussen says the Department of Canadian Heritage will be improving its vetting process to make sure it doesn’t give money to organizations that espouse hatred — and those that do could be banned from future funding.

In an interview with CBC’s The House airing Saturday, Hussen said the federal government giving $133,000 (Liar – they got 600K) to the Community Media Advocacy Centre to develop and run an anti-racism strategy for broadcasters indicated a failure of the vetting process.

In posts on social media, CMAC’s senior consultant Laith Marouf talked about “Jewish white supremacists,” referred to some Indigenous and Black individuals using the term “house slave” and spoke about francophones in Quebec using the slur “frogs.”

Rex Murphy: The Liberals and an incomparable travesty of hate

The Laith Marouf scandal, for that is emphatically what it is, of a fully public (it was all on Twitter, some on tape and film) antisemite receiving more than half a million taxpayers’ dollars from the government of Canada, caught even the laziest eye. I have observed it was a singular instance of “paying” the fox to raid the chicken house.

Will I Ever See the $36 Million Oberlin College Owes Me?

My family was falsely accused of racism by a powerful school in a small town. Our business was destroyed. We won our case. But the school is refusing to pay.

OBERLIN, OHIO — On the night of November, 8, 2016, Donald Trump was elected president and the country was forever changed. But for my family, it was the following night—November 9, 2016—that our world was turned upside down and has never been set right.

Late that night, my husband, David, came home from work and told me that there had been a shoplifting incident at our bakery, Gibson’s. We’ve been in business for 137 years, so we’ve had our fair share of shoplifters, including earlier that very week. That particular night, a student from the local college, Oberlin, had tried to steal two bottles of wine, and use a fake ID to buy a third. Our son, Allyn, had pursued him across the street. Two more students got involved. Allyn was beaten up pretty badly, and the three students were arrested.

White people should be banned from gathering and enjoying themselves unless approved says Guardian critic

Fringe audiences are 99% white? As a South Asian critic, I found Edinburgh’s screaming lack of diversity hugely troubling

Anya Ryan – Racist

I’m sitting in the audience of another Edinburgh fringe show. The month is in full swing and, as a reviewer, I’ve fallen into the pattern of rushing across the city from one venue to another to find my next seat. But, as I sit here, I have a growing sense of discomfort. Like the previous show, and the one before that, I’m the only person of colour in the audience.

There’s a job waiting for her in Ottawa.

Feds to conduct ‘extensive review’ of anti-racism racism funding after Laith Marouf scandal

The Minister of Diversity and Inclusion is taking extra steps to make sure that the anti-racism strategy funded by the federal government does not, in fact, contribute to more racism.

… Hussen’s department is now going to conduct an “extensive review” of the funding that is being distributed through the anti-racism strategy to ensure that no additional funds are redirected to organizations or individuals who promote hateful content.

What a croc. Marouf was hired because he is a racist.

GOLDSTEIN: Canada’s divider-in-chief is Trudeau, not Poilievre

While Conservative leadership candidate Pierre Poilievre keeps getting pounded by fellow leadership contenders, MPs in other parties and much of the media for dividing Canadians, suggesting he is the instigator of verbal attacks and threats aimed at Liberal and NDP politicians and journalists, let’s not forget who the divider-in-chief in Canada is.

Vivian Bercovici: Laith Marouf embodies critical race theory that is so popular in Ottawa

Laith Marouf, who is now an international household name, seems to have had a bad week. After his many antisemitic twitter rantings became a source of controversy for Ottawa, his government contract was suspended. Explaining why he locked his twitter account, he blames three prominent “Zios” myself included, who he says were “directing their attack dogs” to him.
