A pro-Catholic advocacy organization is calling on New York authorities to investigate transgender activists for alleged hate crimes committed against St. Patrick’s Cathedral during a recent funeral for a trans actor and prostitute.

In letters this week, Catholic Vote president Brian Burch demanded that New York attorney general Letitia James and district attorney Alvin Bragg investigate trans activists who “profaned” the holy cathedral and “mocked the Catholic religion” during a funeral for Cecilia Gentili, a transgender activist, prostitute, and actor from Argentina.

A transgender prisoner, serving a a 55-year sentence for strangling his 11-month-old stepdaughter to death, is suing a prison chaplain for allegedly banning them from wearing a hijab.

Jonathan Richardson, who also goes by Autumn Cordellionè, has filed a civil lawsuit against the chaplain of Branchville Correctional Facility in Indiana after he allegedly stopped the inmate from wearing a hijab outside of his cell, despite identifying as a Muslim woman.

Richardson is seeking $150,000 in damages and the ability to wear the hijab ‘anywhere I go within the facility.’

A 90-year-old California woman was fired from her volunteering position at the National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society because she ‘did not understand pronouns,’ despite previously winning multiple awards from the nonprofit group.

Dead people should be able to change their gender, says Labour MP

A Labour MP has called for the law to be changed so that transgender people can have their gender changed posthumously in official records.

In a written question to Parliament last month, Charlotte Nichols, the party’s representative for Warrington North, asked if the Gender Recognition Act (GRA) 2004 could be changed “to allow transgender people who are deceased to be legally remembered by the gender they lived by”.
