Inside the Woke Meltdown at One Domestic Violence Organization

Women Against Abuse discouraged black domestic abuse victims from calling the police. Yes, you read that right.

It was just two months after the death of George Floyd that one of the largest domestic violence nonprofits in the United States, Women Against Abuse, brought in several diversity consultants to conduct a racial-equity audit. The goal of the audit, Women Against Abuse told staffers, was to become “a fully inclusive, multicultural, and antiracist institution.”

Where Are the Parents?

Politicians and policymakers looking to address the youth-crime crisis cannot afford to ignore the question.

A group of seven young Philadelphia teens were caught on surveillance camera beating a 73-year-old man named James Lambert Jr. to death with a traffic cone in June. The footage shows the teens giggling and recording the slow, brutal assault as if it were casual entertainment. “I just don’t know what’s going on in our city,” Lambert’s niece told Fox 29 Philadelphia. “Where were the parents?”

Jayland Walker shot 46 times, death ruled a homicide: Medical examiner

Jayland Walker, a 25-year-old delivery driver who was killed by police while fleeing a traffic stop last month in Akron, Ohio, suffered 46 gunshot wounds throughout his body, a medical examiner’s office determined.

Walker died of blood loss from his injuries, and his manner of death was ruled a homicide, Summit County Medical Examiner Lisa Kohler revealed Friday.

“The autopsy examination determined that Mr. Walker had 46 gunshot wound entrance or graze injuries. A graze injury results when the bullet runs along the surface of the skin but does not enter a specific area of the body,” Kohler wrote in an autopsy report obtained by the Washington Examiner.

BLM’s art fellowship program, cited as reason for $6M mansion purchase, nowhere to be found

Three months have passed since the national Black Lives Matter group announced the launch of an art fellowship program used to justify its secret purchase of a $6 million Los Angeles mansion, but the charity hasn’t even begun to accept applications for the program.

Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation announced the fellowship program just days before New York magazine revealed in early April the charity had secretly purchased the property with donor cash in October 2020. BLM co-founder Patrisse Cullors filmed videos at the property for her personal YouTube channel, held private events at the compound, and stayed at the mansion for days at a time during the 19-month period BLM concealed its purchase of the property from the public and its donors.

VIRGINIA: Jefferson Davis Statue Destroyed by BLM Rioters Now Displayed as Left-Wing Art

Erected in 1907, Richmond’s historic statue of Jefferson Davis was destroyed in 2020 by the Black Lives Matter rioters who besieged the city; burning businesses, museums, and homes, even killing a little girl in the name of left-wing racial justice. Along with other statues and artifacts, what remains of the monument to Jefferson Davis was given by Democrat officials to the far-left Black History Museum and Cultural Center of Virginia, to be shown off as a trophy in the left’s war on White America.
