Trial to begin over chokehold death of Jordan Neely on NYC subway

A former US Marine is set to stand trial this week for putting a homeless man in a fatal chokehold on a New York subway train.

Daniel Penny, 25, has pleaded not guilty to charges of second-degree manslaughter and negligent homicide.

Witnesses said Jordan Neely, a 30-year-old black man, was shouting at other subway passengers and asking for money when Mr Penny, who is white, pinned him down for several minutes, eventually killing him.

A Decade of Ignorance

Ferguson inaugurated ten years of lies about race in America.

This month marks the tenth anniversary of events that changed the trajectory of this country, and not for the better. On August 9, 2014, Darren Wilson fatally shot Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri. Riots erupted the next day and continued for months nationwide. Black Lives Matter exploited the mayhem it had helped cause, helping it swell into a malign global force. The activist model pioneered at Ferguson has had a lasting impact on American politics, as this year’s pro-Hamas demonstrations prove.

Will Wearisome Kaepernick Ever Leave?

The NFL coddled Colin Kaepernick, now they are stuck with him. So are we.

Sports pages used to be sane alternatives to the insanity of the news pages. No more. Normal Americanos have just gotten their heads around the fact that two guys, or at least non-women, fought for the gold medal in women’s boxing in the most woke Olympics in history, when we see, to our displeasure, that the odious Colin Kaepernick is weaseling his way back into public discussion.

He’s still flogging the tired idea that he has a future as an NFL quarterback. If the current Colin Kaepernick is NFL quarterback material, I’m the next Archbishop of Canterbury.

I had forgot all about him.

How about they stop glorifying crime and Gangsta culture?

Canada is putting too many Black Canadians behind bars. Here is what we can do about it

With Black Americans making up only 12.2 per cent of the population, but 32 per cent of the prison population (2021-2022 figures), the high incarceration rates and racial disparities in the U.S. criminal justice system have drawn significant global attention, especially after the police murder of George Floyd.

Less known is the racial disparity in Canada, where Black Canadians account for only 3.5 per cent of the general population but represent 9.2 per cent of the prison population. This means Black Americans are incarcerated approximately 2.62 times their population representation and Black Canadians nearly identical at 2.63 times.

Blacks are incapable of making sound life choices according to this article so must be treated leniently when they commit a criminal act.

And you’re a racist of course.

Black Lives Matter Calls on Democrats To Host Virtual Primary, Refrains From Endorsing Harris

Activist group Black Lives Matter is calling on the Democrats to host a virtual snap primary to protect “the voices of Black voters” a day after Vice President Harris appeared to have secured the backing of enough delegates to win the Democratic nomination.

Mrs. Harris — who, if elected, would be the first Black, South Asian woman president — has received an outpouring of support from Democrats and left-leaning organizations since President Biden bowed out of the race.

Against Juneteenth

The purpose of the holiday was abundantly clear from the outset, to anyone who cared enough to actually pay attention.

The fourth annual observance of Juneteenth National Independence Day passed with less fanfare than the first, but the usual cast of politicians and journalists still made a point of paying obeisance to the latest high holy day in the new liturgical calendar. A headline in the Hill trumpeted: “Black advocates to use Juneteenth to demand political change.” President Joe Biden noted the day’s significance as a “mark of the end of our original sin, slavery.” Nancy Pelosi commemorated the holiday as “a reminder of the racism and cruelty that stains our history.” In a video address, Sen. Raphael Warnock took the opportunity to solemnly remind Americans of “how far we’ve come, and” — of course — “how much further we still need to go.”

Who are these people? They supposedly worked for a Toronto police board member’s companies

Nadine Spencer – Police Services Board Member & Fantasist

Until recently, a black-and-white photo of a woman holding her face in her hands was used to depict Mary Ellen Steinam — also known as Ellen Steinam — across social media and on the website of a marketing company founded by Toronto Police Service Board member Nadine Spencer.

Steinam worked as chief operating officer of Spencer’s company BrandEQ for more than a decade, according to her LinkedIn page. Her profile said she was based in New York and had previously held other prominent marketing jobs at Nestle and Saatchi & Saatchi as far back as 1994.

On Facebook and X, she shared posts and photos of Spencer — cheering on her boss and BrandEQ.

This is what happens when DEI racism trumps common sense.

The Cult of George Floyd

It’s time to let George Floyd rest in peace.

News broke last week that a George Floyd biopic is under production, and that Floyd’s now 10-year-old daughter and her mother will serve as executive producers.

“George Floyd: Daddy Changed the World” is set to be a collaboration between multiple studios, including Radar Pictures, 8 Queens Film & Media, and Night Fox Entertainment.

The involvement of little Gianna, who was only 6 years old when her father died, is a touching gesture from a family that doubtless still grieves his loss.

4 Years After George Floyd’s Drug Overdose Death, Minneapolis is Still Wrecked

The fourth anniversary of George Floyd’s drug overdose death wrongly mischaracterized as a killing by leftist activists who used his overdose to trigger nationwide race riots and seize power has been met with a Biden statement pushing another pro-crime bill, a documentary about how Floyd “changed the world” and more racism.

What it has not been met with is justice for the victims of the largest race riots in decades.

Believe it or not, Hollywood is making a movie about career criminal Saint George Floyd

HOLLYWOOD, CA – The far left is going out of its way to make sure that the American people never even think about putting the memory of George Floyd in the trash heap of history where it belongs. Breitbart News reports that Hollywood is going to produce a movie about the drug-addicted, crime-riddled life of Floyd, whose death in the custody of Minneapolis police officers sparked a “summer of love”…otherwise known as a summer of deadly riots, four years ago.
