Denmark strips Syrian refugees of residency permits and says it is safe to go home

Denmark has become the first European nation to revoke the residency permits of Syrian refugees, insisting that some parts of the war-torn country are safe to return to.

At least 189 Syrians have had applications for renewal of temporary residency status denied since last summer, a move the Danish authorities said was justified because of a report that found the security situation in some parts of Syria had “improved significantly”.

About 500 people originally from Damascus and surrounding areas were being re-evaluated.

AOC says calling border crisis a ‘surge’ pushes white supremacy

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has finally addressed the border crisis — but only to accuse anyone using the term “surge” of pushing a “white supremacist” philosophy.

Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has repeatedly been accused of ducking the dangerously overcrowded migrant detention centers despite saying they were akin to “concentration camps” under the previous administration.

San Diego parents who are fighting in court to get their kids back in school in person are now outraged to learn that kids who just came over the border are getting in-person instruction from some of the very teachers union members who have said the COVID-19 pandemic is too dangerous for in-person learning.

Border czar Harris compared ICE officers to KKK, supports sanctuary cities

Vice President Kamala Harris is the worst possible choice to be handling the crisis on our southern border — she’s demonstrated time and time again that she doesn’t support the work of our nation’s border officers and supports radical immigration policies such as sanctuary cities and decriminalizing border crossings.

In a 2018 interview with MSNBC, then-Sen. Harris traveled to the southern border to announce a “complete overhaul” of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency.

The Border Crisis on the Other Side of the Border

Leftists’ absurd excuse: climate change. The real problem: socialism.

To understand the illegal immigration problem on our southern border, we must first understand what is happening in Latin America. Why have millions of people left their homes, possessions, and families and endured hardships and perils of every sort in a bid to make a life for themselves elsewhere? Ask a South American refugee, and he’ll likely tell you the problem is socialism.

Denmark Cracks Down on “Parallel Societies”

The Danish government has announced a package of new proposals aimed at fighting “religious and cultural parallel societies” in Denmark. A cornerstone of the plan includes capping the percentage of “non-Western” immigrants and their descendants dwelling in any given residential neighborhood. The aim is to preserve social cohesion in the country by encouraging integration and discouraging ethnic and social self-segregation.

The announcement comes just days after Denmark approved a new law banning the foreign funding of mosques in the country. The government has also recently declared its intention significantly to limit the number of people seeking asylum in Denmark.

Belgium: Unrest rocks city of Liege after police racism claims

Belgium’s eastern city of Liege is assessing damage after a Black Lives Matter demonstration turned violent Saturday, leaving fast-food outlets and shops looted.

On Sunday, Liege police said nine officers were hospitalized — and 36 total injured — and about 10 people had been arrested.

The apparent trigger was video footage of a Black woman being forcibly arrested by two officers on Liege’s central Place Saint-Lambert last Monday.

Mexico: smugglers use bracelets to track migrants as they cross US border

Along the banks of the Rio Grande in the scrubby grassland near Penitas, south-east Texas, hundreds of colored plastic wristbands ripped off by migrants litter the ground, signs of what US border officials say is a growing trend among powerful drug cartels and smugglers to track people paying to cross unlawfully into the United States.

The plastic bands – red, blue, green, white – some labeled “arrivals” or “entries” in Spanish, are discarded after migrants cross the river on makeshift rafts, according to a Reuters witness. Their use has not been widely reported before.

Failed asylum seeker says it wasn’t him who raped and chopped up woman because he is gay

A failed asylum seeker who chopped up a woman he met and had sex with, told police he was gay as he tried to put them off the scent, a court heard today.

Azam Mangori was ruthless in the way he tried to cover his tracks after he had lured drunken Lorraine Cox back to his room above a kebab shop in Exeter city centre last August Bank Holiday Monday, jurors were told.

Lorraine Cox, 32, disappeared after the night out with friends and her whereabouts were a mystery prompting a missing persons inquiry by police.

Denmark becomes the first European nation to tell Syrian refugees they must return home, saying the country is now safe

Denmark has become the first European nation to tell Syrian migrants they must return to their home country, saying it is now safe for them there.

The Scandinavian nation has stripped 94 Syrian refugees of their residency permits after it determined Damascus and the surrounding area as being safe.

Migrants will be sent to deportation camps, but will not be forced to leave. But rights groups say the government is trying to give migrants no other option than to return to Syria on their own accord.

And AOC steps in it again… Can we kick out immigrants like Denmark does? Critics snicker after AOC lauds McDonald’s workers’ wages in European nation

By Offering Amnesty Now, Democrats Are Setting Up A Massive Immigration Crisis

By Offering Amnesty Now, Democrats Are Setting Up A Massive Immigration Crisis

Perhaps Democrats could have picked a worse time to unveil their expansive immigration bill that would grant amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants, but not much worse.

The legislation, introduced Thursday by congressional Democrats with the full support of the Biden administration, dubbed the “U.S. Citizenship Act of 2021,” comes as President Biden is rolling back border security measures implemented under Trump and the number of illegal border crossings is surging.

Pact to turn refugees back to the U.S. doesn’t ‘shock’ conscience, Ottawa argues

In striking down a controversial refugee pact between Canada and the U.S., a Canadian judge made “palpable and overriding errors” that warrant a higher court’s intervention, according to a written submission by government lawyers.

“These errors permeated both the Federal Court’s factual and legal findings,” lawyers for Canada’s immigration and public safety ministers argued in their factum filed in advance of an appeal hearing on Tuesday to overturn a court order against the Safe Third Country Agreement. “These findings render the STCA inoperable.”

In July, Justice Ann Marie McDonald ruled the accord unconstitutional because the United States routinely detained asylum seekers under poor conditions.

French refugee center manager stabbed to death by asylum seeker – police

The manager of a refugee center in the French city of Pau has died of his injuries, after allegedly being stabbed multiple times by a Sudanese asylum seeker, police said on Friday.

The suspect, a 38-year-old man from Sudan, was arrested following the attack. He was reportedly known to the authorities for acts of violence and has already been in prison, according to French media.

The knife attack took place at around 11am local time in Pau, in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques. The suspect’s motives for the attack remain unknown, although police sources told local media he had just been refused refugee status by OFPRA, the French Office for the Protection of Refugees and Stateless Persons. The public broadcaster France Télévisions reported that the man had been in France since 2015.

Border agency reports spike of nearly 6,000 immigrant children crossing into US alone

Thousands of unaccompanied immigrant children are attempting to flee to the United States amid the coronavirus pandemic, propelled by devastating natural disasters, chronic violence, and severe economic hardship at home.

US Customs and Border Protection encountered 5,871 kids at the south-west border without a parent or legal guardian last month, the largest influx yet since the start of the public health crisis in early 2020.

That sudden spike is still relatively modest compared to huge figures from fiscal year 2019, when Border Patrol apprehended more than 76,000 unaccompanied children, a trend that reached its zenith that spring.

A Somalian double rapist has been allowed to stay in the UK on human rights grounds after a judge said he would face ‘degrading’ treatment in his home country due to his mental health.

The 49-year-old arrived in Britain in 2004 and claimed asylum, but the Home Office sought to deport him after he amassed eight convictions in the space of six years.

Robbery, trying to pervert the course of justice, and raping two different women were among his offences.
