Canada Begins Probe After UK Reports of Western Military Pilots Training Chinese Army

The Department of National Defence is looking into whether any former Canadian military pilots are involved in training the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) of China after the United Kingdom found some ex-pilots had accepted training roles in the Chinese military.

On Oct. 18, Britain’s Defence Ministry said it issued an intelligence alert to former and current military pilots, warning against Chinese headhunting programs aimed at recruiting pilots to train the PLA.

Once they find out Liberal Party members are profitably involved it’ll be swept under the rug.

Canada a horrible racist nation again!

Accusations of racism shutter groundbreaking Halifax institute studying Canadian slavery

Charmaine Nelson finds it quite ironic that a Halifax-based institute she founded to study slavery in Canada closed after she felt discriminated against as a Black woman.

The prominent art historian, educator and author resigned from her position as the director of the Institute for the Study of Canadian Slavery at NSCAD University earlier this year. She says the undermining of Black academics is what racism looks like in universities and is a problem across Canada.

Something seems off with this story.

Canadian taxpayers on hook for $55K of Trudeau family’s annual grocery bill

OTTAWA — Canadian taxpayers spend nearly $55,000 annually on food bills for the prime minister’s household.

Documents obtained by the Canadian Taxpayers Federation covering household expenses of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his predecessor, Stephen Harper, list an average of $54,494 annually on “miscellaneous food expenses” billed to the taxpayer after customary reimbursements by the prime minister. That works out to a little over $1,000 a week.

What the hell are they eating gold plated steaks?

Child pornographers at CBC In Shock that anti-trans candidates running in Ontario school board elections

With support from several conservative groups, some candidates are vowing to end inclusive sex education

In school board elections across Ontario this Monday, dozens of candidates are running on promises to roll back protections for transgender students, part of a concerted effort by conservative lobby groups to undo policies aimed at addressing systemic discrimination.

The normally sleepy contests for trustee positions have been highly charged this year with faith-based groups, political parties and self-styled “anti-woke” organizations involved to an unprecedented degree, including providing endorsements, mobilizing volunteers and providing candidates’ training from U.S. political operatives.

OMG! US Political Operatives! That’s only OK when they want to shut down the Oil and Gas Industry! CBC’s playbook has gotten very stale.

Isn’t it great your tax dollars pick up the tab for the sick fetish of child sexualization at the CBC?

Child abuse is “normal” at the CBC, one more reason it should be shut down.

Tam has lost trust of Canadians, say Conservative MPs

Canada’s top doctor does not have the trust of Canadians when it comes to COVID-19.

So say Commons health committee MPs, who told Dr. Theresa Tam, the country’s chief public health officer, it will not blindly follow the advice of her Public Health Agency, according to Blacklock’s Reporter .

To back that up, Conservative MP Matt Jeneroux (Edmonton Riverbend) read a string of Tam’s incorrect statements made about COVID-19 early in the pandemic into the record.

The NHL wants to stop hiring white people

Future Stanley Cup Final.

The NHL has released a “diversity report.” In response, both the league and the Associated Press have determined that white people should stop playing hockey or working in hockey.

The report found that 83.6% of the NHL’s staff and the staff of the league’s teams are white. The league’s rosters are 90% white. The report also found that 62% of staff are men — far more balanced than the league’s rosters, which are made up entirely of men.

You just knew this horseshit was coming. Are you as sick of these damned racists as I am?

‘Freeland Doctrine’ could set the world on a path to a new trade cold war

After the Canadian deputy prime minister’s declaration in Washington, D.C., last week that the “end of history” has itself now officially come to an end, Chrystia Freeland is bringing her message home to Canadians.

But as Freeland announced that we must abandon the optimism that post-communist countries would gradually turn into healthy democracies and good global citizens, some critics were warning that she was helping to widen a new great divide in trade and politics that may not be as favourable to Canada as the original Cold War.

Canadians must give thanks to our Loblaw overlords for their generous new marketing campaign

Canada’s kind and gracious grocery overlords have bestowed upon civilians a most wonderful gift. This treasure, glistening in the sun’s brightest yellow and with words of bold black tourmaline, shall adorn the homes of all Canadians from Victoria to St. John’s, Whitehorse to Toronto. Man, woman and child will, for the next three months, rejoice in this bounty at a cost equivalent to what it is now.

Good read, it nicely details the hypocrisy of this stunt. I remember finding a largish piece of wood in some No Name Peas, probably from a skid. Galen wouldn’t take my call.

PM Trudeau, Poilievre spar over recession concerns, ruinous increase in carbon tax scam

PM Trudeau, Poilievre spar over recession concerns, affordability bill

OTTAWA – Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre sparred in the House of Commons on Tuesday over concerns of a looming recession and how the federal government should be tackling inflation, with Trudeau accusing Poilievre of “blocking” the Liberals’ bill to implement housing and dental benefits.

Tuesday’s Question Period saw a back-and-forth between Trudeau and Poilievre, with the Conservative leader accusing Trudeau of “bragging about” the $500 top-up for low-income renters as part of the proposed affordability legislation, while adding “these days, you can’t even rent a dog house in the backyard for that kind of money.”

Trudeau is a thief.

Canada’s ‘tenuous hold’ in Arctic could be challenged by Russia, China, says top soldier

Canada’s hold on the outer reaches of its Arctic territory is “tenuous” and will face significant challenges from both Russia and China in the future, the country’s top military commander warned a parliamentary committee on Tuesday.

Gen. Wayne Eyre, the chief of the defence staff, told the House of Commons defence committee — which has embarked on a study of the country’s security posture in the region — that the Far North does not face an immediate threat.

“Right now, today, we don’t see a clear and present threat to our sovereignty, not today, not this week, not next week, not next year,” Eyre said.

Critics call Loblaw price freeze a PR move as grocers face accusations of profiteering

Loblaw announced Monday that it would be freezing prices for 1,500 products sold under its No Name private label. But experts say the move is largely a PR tactic as Canadians and politicians accuse grocery giants of profiteering.

Retail expert Doug Stephens said he doubts the move was done out of altruism and notes that the profit margins on private label brands already tend to be “quite a bit higher” than national brands.

… The Loblaw No Name price freeze will be in effect until Jan. 31. Barry Millman, CEO of the Denbar Food Group in Cobourg, Ont., notes that the price freeze coincides with the “blackout period” between October and January, when suppliers like his company are prohibited from increasing the prices they charge to grocery stores.

A new low in cynicism! You can learn a lot from a billionaire who literally stole bread from the mouths of Babes.

Why did Canada help my brother die?

The laws around assisted suicide are terrifyingly liberal

“They’re going to say that all suicides are way down.” Gary Nichols is speaking to me from his home in Edmonton, Canada. In 2019, his younger brother Alan was hospitalised for threatening to kill himself. Within a month, he was dead. He had ended his own life at Chilliwack General Hospital, aged 61, and doctors and nurses had helped him do it.

Abdullahi Ahmed Abdullahi directly funded “violent acts of terrorism,” including the kidnapping and killing of people in Syria, said U.S. Attorney Randy Grossman in a statement.

NDP ‘Greedflation’ motion calling for grocery pricing probe gets unanimous support from MPs

An NDP motion calling on the federal government to take steps to tackle “greedflation,” and investigate grocery chain profits, received unanimous support from MPs on Monday.

The motion called out grocery store giants for making “massive profits in the last year,” while the cost of groceries keeps rising. It also calls on the government to “recognize that corporate greed is a significant driver of inflation, and to take further action to support families during this cost-of-living crisis.”

I don’t like our corporate class for lots of reasons and I especially despise the grocery barons who conspired to literally steal bread from the mouths of children for 14 years.

No one went to jail because Canada is as corrupt as a Banana Republic.

Nothing will come of this NDP grand standing.
