Trudeau Joins Dictators Mao, Stalin In Attack On Food Production

Interviewed this week by Fox News, former federal Minister of Agriculture Gerry Ritz baled the hay regarding the Trudeau government’s attack on Canadian farmers.

“Ritz is fighting mad about Trudeau putting a 35% tariff on fertilizer because he believes nitrogen is a source of greenhouse gasses and we must eliminate those even if it means farmers can’t produce enough food to feed Canadians.”

The former Federal Agricultural Minister suggested Trudeau is “still festering over being thoroughly embarrassed and upstaged by the Freedom Convoy, and this assault on food is his latest volley to silence critics.”

Disapproval of the Trudeau Government Hits New High

Conservative lead widens as unhappiness with federal government and Prime Minister Trudeau grows

… Approval of the federal government is sagging. Today, 34% approve of the government’s performance, down 4-points this month, while disapproval has spiked to 51% (up 5 points in two weeks), the highest number ever recorded since the Trudeau government was elected in 2015 and the highest since March 2019 in the middle of the SNC Lavalin controversy.

Douglas Todd: Why China’s woes matter to Canada

Opinion: China’s economic problems and tough COVID measures have more Chinese people longing for Canada

China is in turmoil. The once-roaring housing market of the world’s second-largest economy is collapsing.

The regime’s harsh zero-COVID restrictions are causing bitterness and anger.

Beijing’s stepped-up quest for “common prosperity” has many worried their savings and assets aren’t being treated as actually theirs — and could be confiscated by Communist party rulers in the name of equality.

More people, especially the rich, want to escape.

And this is a good thing why?

“Canadian man” gets life in prison from U.S. judge for aiding ISIS

A U.S. judge on Friday sentenced a Saudi-born Canadian man to life in prison after he pleaded guilty in December to aiding Islamic State by working with propagandists who publicized the group’s beheading of hostages including American journalist James Foley.

Mohammed Khalifa, 39, who grew up in Toronto and left Canada in 2013 for Syria, killed two Syrian soldiers on the group’s behalf before his capture by U.S.-backed Kurdish forces in 2019, the U.S. Department of Justice said in a statement on his sentence.

He also murdered for his satanic Allah but the CBC doesn’t want to offend ISIS.

Hopin to get Lucki?

Top N.S. Mountie wanted an officer dismissed for sexual misconduct — but Commissioner Lucki disagreed

A Nova Scotia RCMP constable who violated the force’s code of conduct after fondling co-workers will keep his job — even though the top Mountie in the province at the time wanted him dismissed for sexual assault.

The case pits the wishes of the local division against Commissioner Brenda Lucki, who — while promising publicly that sexual assault would not be tolerated under her watch — agreed to let the member keep his job.

Public Trust Vanishes As Communism Takes Over Canadian Media

According to a recent poll, the majority of Canadians distrust mainstream media. A report from the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism at University of Oxford finds that only 42 per cent of Canadian respondents trust “most news, most of the time.”

Why is it that public trust in media has eroded steadily since 2016? One theory(ours) is that trust in the press has diminished in tandem with Justin Trudeau’s tenure as Canadian prime minister. An inverse relationship exists within the annals of media presentation. The greater the degree to which media function as a propaganda unit for government, the greater the lack of public trust.

In this regard, Canadian media play a wicked game. To ubiquitously back PM Trudeau and his brood of Liberal-Communists will not do. On this basis, Canadians are sure to see through the deception. To circumvent the perception, CBC, CTV, Globe & Mail and the rest limit criticism of government to pragmatic political issues.

‘Terrifying’: Canada’s police going all in on ‘pre-crime’ intervention

A growing intervention model that partners police with schools, health providers and social workers to identify people believed to be “at risk” of becoming criminals or victims of crime is violating minors’ privacy, omitting crucial race data, and may have contributed to several deaths in Ontario, documents obtained by The Breach reveal.

Threat to Canadian electric vehicle industry dissipates with U.S. Senate deal

A deal struck among Democrats in the U.S. Senate appears to have eliminated a threat hanging over the nascent electric vehicle manufacturing industry in Canada.

An agreement announced late Wednesday between Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer and Senator Joe Manchin of West Virginia gives the Democrats the votes they need to pass a key plank of U.S. President Joe Biden’s legislative agenda.

The deal would amend Mr. Biden’s climate and health bill and change the terms of tax credits for electric vehicles that as previously written would have only applied to autos assembled in the United States.

Big deal. The Climate Nazis will ensure not enough hydro is available to charge your electric car. Assuming they even allow you to own one.

Apology from Pope Francis was welcome — but it doesn’t mean Canadian settlers can now absolve themselves

Indigenous leaders have welcomed the apology by Pope Francis as a historic first step toward reconciliation for survivors of residential schools and the families of the estimated 6,000 Indigenous children who went missing — a call to action made by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) for the Catholic Church.

This is not the first time the Pope has spoken publicly about this topic. He first apologized on April 1, 2022 at the Apostolic Palace in Vatican City. But apologies, no matter how many, aren’t enough.

This garbage is just another instance of Islamists latching on to Aboriginal issues.

Quebec’s Conservative party surges in the polls as some of its candidates spread conspiracy theories

“… The surge in popularity for Duhaime’s party comes as conservative libertarians across the country, at both the provincial and federal levels, are feeling emboldened by frustrations at pandemic restrictions.

Recent polling suggests anti-mandate libertarians, at both the federal and provincial levels, are attracting support of Canadians who are distrustful not just of government regulations, but of scientific authorities, mainstream media outlets and democratic institutions in general.

… A recent study, based on polling data, found that 50 per cent of the party’s supporters were either “convinced” or “moderate” adherents of conspiracy theories.

Among Quebec Liberal supporters, 31 per cent were classified as conspiracy theorists and so were 29 per cent of Parti Québécois supporters.

Distrustful of government regulations? That just being prudent. The government is never your friend said a wise lady I know.

Distrustful of Scientific authorities? Would they be the ones who tampered with the Alzheimer studies? Or the ones who with Big Pharma pushed meds for depression when no proof of their efficacy has been established?

Distrustful of Media! Thanks for the laugh CBC.

Distrustful of democratic institutions in general? This from the same CBC that ran with the Russia Collusion hoax for literally years?
