Canadians aren’t crazy to think that carbon pricing is hurting their pocketbooks

The Prime Minister told The Canadian Press that the Conservatives have unfairly but successfully scapegoated carbon pricing for why everything costs so much. But Justin Trudeau is better to look in the mirror as he examines Pierre Poilievre’s persuasiveness.

Why is the Conservative Leader’s “Axe the Tax” mantra so potent? First, because people stretched by mortgage payments and grocery costs are looking for clear and simple solutions – even though Mr. Poilievre’s answer might be far from complete.

Justin Trudeau has both good and bad reasons for turning his back on Israel

U.S. President Joe Biden may or may not have had Canada in mind when he warned this week that Israel is losing international support amid the soaring civilian death toll its army has wrought in Gaza.

Canadian foreign policy rarely catches Washington’s attention unless it involves some bilateral irritant that has upset one faction or another in Congress. But Canada’s move to join Australia and New Zealand in calling Tuesday for a “sustained ceasefire” in Gaza was likely noteworthy enough to be included in Mr. Biden’s daily intelligence briefing. Washington would surely have had advance notice of Canada’s evolving position; it may even have encouraged it.

The good reasons seem to be about appeasing and hopefully retaining the voter loyalty of “Canadian” Hamas supporters for the LPC.

‘This Will Not Soon Be Forgotten’: Canada’s Backing of UN Ceasefire Resolution Divides Liberals, Angers Jewish Community

Jewish advocacy groups are criticizing Canada’s decision to back a UN resolution calling for a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, with the country reversing its position held since the Oct. 7 terrorist attacks.

“We’re disgusted and frankly shocked that only hours after issuing a statement that a ceasefire would only be possible under the condition that Hamas release the hostages, stop its use of Palestinians as human shields, lay down its arms, and surrender its control of Gaza, Canada voted in support of a UN General Assembly resolution supporting a ceasefire,” Shimon Koffler Fogel, president and CEO of the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs (CIJA) said in a statement Dec. 12.

US Lawmakers Push Canada To Designate Iranian Guard Corps as Terrorist Group

Don’t believe a thing this lying punk says.

A bipartisan coalition in Congress is pressuring Canada to designate Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization, with the lawmakers warning that “neither engagement nor concessions will change” Tehran’s appetite for destruction.

“By officially designating the IRGC as a foreign terrorist organization, Canada can join the United States in once again contributing to the global fight against terrorism, demonstrating a strong commitment to ensuring peace and stability,” the group of 14 House lawmakers wrote in a letter sent Wednesday to Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau and obtained by the Washington Free Beacon. “It is vital that Canada recognizes the threat posed by the Islamic Republic of Iran and takes all appropriate steps to address it.”

Trudeau is as stupid as he is dangerous.

Sikh terrorists, Palestinian Terrorists, Iranian Terrorists, Bangladesh Terrorists – Canada is the 1st Post Modern Terrorist State.

NDP Keeps Justin Trudeau Afloat

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau sometimes seems to defy political gravity. He’s held office for more than eight years, through scandal and error. He survived revelations that he wore blackface three times as a young man, along with two ethics violations handed down from Canada’s ethics commissioner for conflict of interest. He has had public spats with female parliamentarians and ministers—as well as icy relations with China and India and with Presidents Trump and Biden.

Whistleblower alleges Champagne’s office softened SDTC report in coverup

The federal government knew for several months of serious governance, conflict-of-interest and human-resources infractions at its main funding agency for green technology, but softened a report that detailed the evidence to keep senior leaders in place, the whistleblower who made the initial complaints testified on Monday.

It’s the economy, stupid: How high inflation and interest rates tanked the Liberals

Justin Trudeau’s government has had to weather many storms over the last eight years.

The SNC-Lavalin controversy. An old yearbook photo with the prime minister in blackface. Multiple ethics violations. The COVID-19 pandemic.

But as the governing Liberals continue to slide in the polls, the slow-moving hurricane that may actually end up blowing them away appears to be the economy.

For many, the pandemic has receded into little more than a bad memory. But the economic domino effect it touched off lingers on, wreaking electoral havoc on incumbent governments around the world.

Population growth is the housing issue politicians can’t keep ducking

If there’s a hot political debate over why Canada has a housing crisis, it is important to talk about the proximate cause.

It’s population growth. And the temporary resident boom.

Canadian politicians have spent a lot of time dodging and ignoring this unavoidable fact.

See the Hamas support rallies in our streets? That’s another aspect of population growth our so called mainstream politicians refuse to address.

The toxins of mass immigration, multiculturalism and diversity are putting lives at risk while ripping our society apart.

Not all cultures are equal. Canada’s political class and their corporate backers has invited incompatibale cultures to settle here.

Politicians don’t care where the bodies come from, they only care about meeting the population targets set by their corporate cronies and gaining the votes of ethnic strongmen.

Canada’s wreckless and destructive immigration policy is born of cowardice and greed without a care for the harm done to citizens.

Another Member Of Trudeau’s Green Slush Fund Is Under Investigation

The Canadian governments Sustainable Development Technology Fund, often referred to as a “Trudeau’s green slush fund,” is under fire yet again today.

Member of Parliament Michael Barrett this morning on Twitter has revealed that yet another member of the board of directors, Guy Ouimet, is under investigation following allegations of a conflict of interest. The investigation follows the resignation of Leah Lawrence, President and CEO of the agency, whom stepped down after it was revealed that SDTC chair Annette Verschuren had received funding from the agency for her own organization. Verschuren has also stepped down from her role with the organization.

MORGAN: Trudeau is down but not out

Everybody is an environmentalist. At least, they are until its time to pay the bill. Then the tune changes dramatically. The Trudeau regime is discovering this the hard way as support for their government continues its freefall in public support.

Climate change doesn’t mean a damn thing to Canadians when they can’t make the rent or fill the refrigerator. Canadians are seeing the link between economically damaging climate taxes and policies and the difficulty in making ends meet. They are rightly taking it out on the federal Liberals.

Tasha Kheiriddin: Another sham inquiry into foreign interference

Is Judge Marie-Josée Hogue the new David Johnston? The Quebec Court of Appeals judge was appointed in early September to head the Public Inquiry into Foreign Interference in Federal Electoral Processes and Democratic Institutions, months after “special rapporteur” Johnston had concluded that an inquiry wasn’t necessary.

Mideast ministers to discuss resolution to Israel-Hamas war with Joly, Trudeau in Ottawa

A group of foreign ministers from the Palestinian Authority, Saudi Arabia and Turkey are in Ottawa today for a quietly planned meeting with Foreign Affairs Minister Melanie Joly to discuss attempts to end the Israel-Hamas war.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau also joined the talks, arranged to see how countries such as Canada can help efforts to secure peace for Palestinians and Israelis, after Hamas militants launched a deadly rampage in Israel on Oct. 7.
