As we try to come to terms with the extent of Chinese influence over the Biden family, a leaked database of registered members of the Chinese Communist Party has exposed a mass infiltration of American companies — with serious national-security implications.

Boeing, Qualcomm and Pfizer are just three US companies who have employed dozens of CCP members in their Chinese facilities, the database reveals.

Justin Trudeau was asked about Montreal’s Pornhub months ago. Now Ottawa is scrambling to find answers

A working group of MPs and senators looking at ways to combat human trafficking sent a letter to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in March outlining concerns it had about videos being posted on Pornhub, the popular pornography website based in Montreal, and calling on the government to act.

In November the group wrote to federal Justice Minister David Lametti, making the same case.

Both letters went unanswered.

LILLEY: Trudeau’s carbon tax and climate change are his true religion

I’d like to say it is a cash grab, I’d like to say that it was craven politics, but Justin Trudeau’s decision to announce a massive hike in the carbon tax in the middle of an economic recession caused by a global pandemic is much more than that — it’s religion.

Whatever faith Trudeau was raised with or experienced as a child, his true religion now is climate change. Someone concerned about climate change but also cognizant of the fact people are suffering job losses, that businesses big and small have been crippled, might have decided to hold off on raising the carbon tax by 566% over the next ten years.

In Ottawa’s rush to buy PPE, companies with little or no experience got some of the biggest contracts

The federal government awarded a $371-million contract to secure personal protective equipment — one of the largest medical supply deals in its history — to a small company headquartered in a house in suburban Ottawa that had no apparent prior experience in PPE procurement.

Proline Advantage Inc.’s tender submission was one of more than 26,000 received by the government through its BuyandSell.gc.ca portal after it put out a call to suppliers last March for help procuring PPE.

Liberal Donors Favoured for Judicial Appointments

Far more Liberal donors have been appointed or promoted as judges than donors for other parties since Justin Trudeau was elected, a new tally shows, despite the prime minister’s promise to use a merit-based system.

In total, about 28 per cent of federal judicial appointments or promotions under Trudeau have been people who solely donated to the Liberals in the past, compared to four per cent who were solely Conservative donors and one per cent who were solely NDP donors. A further seven per cent had donated to the Liberals and at least one other party.

GOLDSTEIN: Trudeau ‘Great Reset’ is to break his promise on carbon taxes

After his Liberal government repeatedly assured Canadians prior to last year’s election that his carbon tax would be frozen at $50 per tonne of emissions in 2022, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced Friday he will raise it to $170 per tonne by 2030.

That will increase the cost of gasoline by about 38 cents per litre, plus the cost of home heating fuels such as natural gas and oil.
