Trudeau says Canadians are ‘angry’ and ‘frustrated’ with the unvaccinated

With the Omicron-driven pandemic wave sweeping the country, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says Canadians are growing more angry and frustrated with people who still refuse to get vaccinated.

Trudeau said that while most Canadians have stepped up to get their shots — putting Canada near the top of the list of countries with the highest vaccination rates — the unvaccinated remain a problem.

Canadian Armed Forces deployed to Quebec to help with COVID-19 vaccination campaign

Minister of Emergency Preparedness Bill Blair made the announcement via Twitter Monday morning.

“Following our approval of Quebec’s request for federal assistance, Canadian Armed Forces personnel will begin their deployment today to provide support to the province’s vaccination campaign,” he wrote. “Our officials continue to assess what other federal resources can be utilized to help the province combat COVID-19.”

They really do think we’re stupid.

We’re Witnessing The Continuing Cultural Divergence Of Canada And The United States

Almost a year ago, Canadians tuned in to watch one of the scariest reality TV shows ever produced: early 21st century American politics. On Jan. 6, thousands of radicalized, ill-informed Americans stormed the Capitol building to disrupt the certification of the results of the presidential election. Later in the year, our own federal election campaign was marred by conspiracy theorists hurling insults and stones at our Prime Minister. While the scale of these protests was much smaller than those in Washington, their angry tone was enough to deflate our sense of moral superiority. Were the events in the United States simply a preview of our own political future?

Jordan Peterson says legacy media in “death spiral,” CBC a “near-corpse”

Renowned Canadian author and psychologist Dr. Jordan Peterson slammed the CBC and other legacy media in a tweet last week.

“The legacy media are in an unrecoverable death spiral, spinning ever more uncontrollably. The CBC has become a mewling, meandering, self-righteous, slogan-spewing narcissistic near-corpse,” said Peterson.

He does have a way with words!

COVID news reports often look more like propaganda than journalism

When it comes to reporting on COVID in Canada, the legacy media are failing Canadians.

Journalists don’t report the facts, they only push a narrative – even if it means burying important facts. The result is that journalists sound like government propagandists and their reports look like vaccine infomercials.

Trudeau tells heritage minister to burn more taxpayer money on failing CBC

In his mandate letter to newly-appointed Minister of Canadian Heritage Pablo Rodriguez, Trudeau tasked the cabinet member with providing “additional funding” to the public broadcaster which is already subsidized by Canadians to the tune of $1.2 billion.

Specifically, Trudeau directed Rodriguez to provide “additional funding to make (CBC) less reliant on private advertising, with a goal of eliminating advertising during news and other public affairs shows.”

Canadians increasingly impatient with climate-change deniers

The past couple of years have provided many examples of extreme weather events that, according to scientists, were exacerbated by climate change.

These events, which used to be featured in the back pages of newspapers or during the final moments of newscasts, are now in Canada. British Columbians endured an extreme heat wave in July, which has been followed this month by heavy rainfall and severe flooding.

The CBC is a joke and Canadians are laughing at them

This week, the CBC apologized after blowing an election call for the mayoral race in Quebec City. The CBC’s bungled call led to the wrong candidate rushing to the podium to mistakenly deliver her victory speech. So much for being a “beacon for truth.”

The state broadcaster continues to publish awful opinion pieces – this week, they claim climate change is caused by racism and white supremacy. Is anybody really surprised by how far-left the CBC is these days?

Rex Murphy: On climate change, the CBC has crossed the line from news agency to PMO mouthpiece

I’d like to start with an excerpt from a recent public document. It’s a bit longish but you need to catch the flavour of the thing. It has a magnificently “certain” tone, speaks of vast issues, asserts a Universalist impact, and has dread warnings for our country, Canada. Then I will offer a quiz.
