Ottawa-funded social justice research isn’t science

For the past decade, Ottawa politicized research funding: Liberal ministers pledged to embed diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) into research practices while bringing diversity targets to the sector; they even said outright that federal funds would be used to tinker with the demographics within the research ecosystem.

And now, in 2024, the House of Commons is finally hearing about it. In October, the science committee kicked off a study on the impact of government funding requirements on Canadian research, and, for once, invited a slate of witnesses who don’t bow to DEI dogma.

Scientists Gather To Debate Renaming Plant Names Riddled With Racial Slurs

One proposal aims to remove all species names based on the word “caffra” and its derivatives — which are ethnic slurs against southern African blacks — and substitute the word “afr” and other derivatives in their place, according to Nature. This proposal would affect some 218 species. The second proposal would establish a committee to deal with offensive names. The amendments would require a supermajority of 60 percent of attendees approving it in order to pass.

Science Museum removes trans-inclusive display after ‘propaganda’ complaints

The Boy or Girl? gallery, featuring a fake penis and chest binders, was removed after objections it was ‘not science’

The Science Museum has dismantled a trans-inclusive display following complaints it was pushing “propaganda” and not biology.

A cabinet titled Boy Or Girl? displayed quotes describing the transition from the “wrong body” as a “hero’s journey”, and labels characterising gender as something “difficult to define” which “may not match your biological sex”.

The display which featured a fake penis and chest-binding equipment has been taken down by the museum following complaints the information provided was “not science, but propaganda”.

Should we fear the sperm drought?

Here’s a jolly thought to start the year: humanity is on its way to extinction due to a drastic decline in sperm counts. Men’s reproductive health is in such a parlous state that it won’t be long until nobody can conceive a child unassisted.

That, anyway, is the argument that’s become a perennial: every year or so — most recently just at the end of 2022 — a new sperm-counting study emerges and reignites the fears that we’re biologically condemned to extinction. How anxious should we be?

Fauci then enters, claiming the following words of advice he and other so-called ‘experts’ definitely should have paid attention to over the past couple of years but must have, conveniently, ‘forgotten’.

“If you take it and then a year goes by and everybody’s fine then you say okay, that’s good, now let’s give it to 500 people. And then a year goes by and everything’s fine, say, well now let’s give it to thousands of people. And then you find out that it takes 12 years for all hell to break loose and then what have you done.”

The proof is all around us if we would but open our eyes. They do not care about the poor in Africa. If they did, malaria would have been eradicated years ago by eliminating the mosquito that carries it rather than the continual support of an industry costing 10.3 billion a year.

If they cared about the people of Ukraine, the war with Russia would not only be over but it would never have happened in the first place. Instead, the US government has hemorrhaged more than $54 billion to Ukraine in a matter of months, calling it “aid” when it’s really nothing more than money laundering and the enslavement of a nation through debt—something the US has done to many nations over the years.

Once started, these gravy trains are too lucrative to stop—too many companies, too many people benefit from ongoing health and war crises.

As far back as 1978, young people were being indoctrinated in universities to accept their own dehumanization and cannibalization by the elite. The question in university philosophy classes “Can the Fetus be an Organ Farm?” Hastings Center Report, was answered with a resounding yes, thanks to philosophy professor Mary Anne Warren and others like her. Not only that, but why shouldn’t women become pregnant specifically and intentionally for the purpose of growing babies for the sole purpose of harvesting their organs?

That was more than 40 years ago. How many diseases have been eradicated since then, thanks to the organ harvesting of fetuses? According to MIT Technology Review, “NO FIELD OF BIOTECHNOLOGY HAS PROMISED MORE AND DELIVERED LESS IN THE WAY OF TREATMENTS THAN EMBRYONIC STEM CELLS.”

In the same period of time, since the Supreme Court legalized abortion in Roe v. Wade in 1973, almost 63.5 million babies have been killed in abortion.

Organic molecules, known as nitriles, are abundant in interstellar clouds, scientists have discovered, supporting the theory that similar life-sparking particles hitchhiked a ride to Earth.

The theory is known as the “RNA World” theory, which proposes that the ingredients for life arrived on meteorites and comets during a period of heavy bombardment roughly four billion years ago.

Ontario Liberals pledge to add COVID-19 vaccine to school immunization list


Liberal Leader Steven Del Duca said the best way to get back to normal is to make classrooms safer.

“There are nine existing vaccines … in that roster of universal required vaccines,” Del Duca said during a campaign stop in Ottawa. “We will add the COVID-19 vaccine to that list. And we’re going to do that because the science is settled on this.”
