Rex Murphy: If CBC cared about diversity, it would host Jordan Peterson global warming talk

I know there have been others. But none has had such a continuous and insistent presence.

No other issue has had the sweet, soft, giddy support of the big networks, the great corporations, the trendy school boards, every mad virtue-signalling politician (the chieftain of which is Prime Minister Justin Trudeau), and the whole wide and multitudinous, amoeba-replicative (and dreadful) NGOs — think of the various foundations, of which I nominate the Suzuki Foundation as the Canadian prince of these dull harrying grouplets — as global warming.

Where in CBC’s mandate does it say “Pimp for Drag Queens who want to perform for children?”

Guelph drag queen sees all-ages shows targeted by social media campaigns

A Guelph drag queen says their shows are being targeted by two Ontario-based social media campaigns, resulting in the cancellation of one event and the performer feeling uneasy about an upcoming show.

Last month, Crystal Quartz had a drag brunch organized at Kelseys Original Roadhouse in Burlington. But following threats made to the restaurant, management was forced to cancel, the restaurant confirmed to CBC Kitchener-Waterloo. Restaurant management couldn’t disclose information about these threats due to an ongoing police investigation.

The CBC does not deserve tax payer funding as it in no way represents Canadian culture and values. Where in it’s mandate does it say “Pimp for Drag Queens?”

PS. I note this article makes no reference to CAHN the  so called “anti-hate” group found to be in support of the violent  Antifa organization in a recent court ruling. CAHN had previously been the CBC’s go-to community advocate for men who dress as women.

Hoorah! Suzuki Family To Remain On Public Teat! CBC chooses Suzuki’s daughter to replace Daddy as host of The Nature of Things even after countless auditions!

… After a country-wide search and countless auditions, it was difficult to choose just one host. For Cullis-Suzuki, it was “a huge, huge shock” to learn she would be co-hosting the show her father has helmed since before she was born.

They tossed in a token co-host to please the DEI/BLM gods and waste even more tax dollars.

Child pornographers at CBC In Shock that anti-trans candidates running in Ontario school board elections

With support from several conservative groups, some candidates are vowing to end inclusive sex education

In school board elections across Ontario this Monday, dozens of candidates are running on promises to roll back protections for transgender students, part of a concerted effort by conservative lobby groups to undo policies aimed at addressing systemic discrimination.

The normally sleepy contests for trustee positions have been highly charged this year with faith-based groups, political parties and self-styled “anti-woke” organizations involved to an unprecedented degree, including providing endorsements, mobilizing volunteers and providing candidates’ training from U.S. political operatives.

OMG! US Political Operatives! That’s only OK when they want to shut down the Oil and Gas Industry! CBC’s playbook has gotten very stale.

Isn’t it great your tax dollars pick up the tab for the sick fetish of child sexualization at the CBC?

Child abuse is “normal” at the CBC, one more reason it should be shut down.

So it’s business as usual then … CBC reportedly considering dropping requirement for journalistic objectivity

CBC is reportedly considering dropping an age-old requirement for its reporters to be objective — at least for those from a visible minority group.

The revelation was shared this week in an editorial by the Quebec newspaper La Presse. Senior editor François Cardinal wrote that CBC was considering an internal demand by its reporters that the broadcaster abandon its current standards requiring reporters and staff to remain neutral on political issues.

I can’t tell the difference can you? The fact they’re even considering this is reason enough to shut it all down.

William Watson: CBC searched high and low for Marxist profs to speak ill of the Queen

It must have been an awful dozen days for the woke folk who run the CBC Newsroom. In the first hours, the Queen’s death was very sad so, given most people’s quite human reaction, there was little opportunity for the ideological instruction, especially on matters of race, indigenousness and gender flux, that increasingly dominates what comes out of the corporation. And then, strangely, it turned into a good-news story, as the focus shifted to the Queen’s having hardly ever turned a foot wrong or spoken a hurtful or unwise word during 70 — seventy! — years of what only an ignoramus would deny had been dedicated service.

Are You A Dangerous Right Wing Extremist Who Denies Men Can Have A Baby? You Might Be Conservative Commentator Ben Shapiro Says CBC!

‘It’s a slippery slope’: How young men fall into online radicalization

“It started out pretty benign,” he recalls. “You’re watching something about teen fashion and then the next thing you know, the algorithm would push you to a Ben Shapiro video.”

Though Shapiro describes himself as a conservative political commentator, his views are controversial — and some are outright discriminatory. He’s suggested, for example, that transgender people suffer from a “mental disorder.”

But he has a combined 9.4 million subscribers and followers on YouTube and Twitter, many of whom are young people, like Brown was when he got pushed in Shapiro’s direction.

They do suffer from a mental disorder and the CBC is a dangerous enabler attempting to criminalize dissent. Why are our tax dollars supporting gender extremists on CBC?

Justin’s CBC horrified to discover efforts to normalize exposing children to drag queens meets with resistance

Libraries in Canada hit by wave of hate, threats, as right-wing groups protest all-age drag events

Family-friendly drag events across Canada, many hosted by municipal libraries, have been targeted by a deluge of hateful comments and threats during Pride month, prompting multiple police investigations and renewed concerns about the safety of the LGBTQ community.

More than half a dozen libraries and drag performers, from Saint John to Victoria, reported being inundated online and over the phone by homophobic slurs and, in some cases, threats of violence.

Drag Story Hour events are popular at many libraries in the country, and usually feature a performer in drag reading children’s books about inclusion. They are often held in collaboration with local LGBTQ associations and have caused only minor controversy in the past.

Family Friendly? Because exposing children to drag queens is normal for the CBC.

When the national broadcaster is pedophile adjacent it’s time to pull the plug on funding.

Anti-Israel CBC Culinary Radio Show Violated Journalistic Standards

HonestReporting Canada is pleased to share that, subsequent to a complaint we lodged with CBC last year regarding an anti-Israel segment that their radio program “Unforked” broadcast, Ombudsman Jack Nagler upheld our complaint and recognized that the episode violated their Journalistic Standards and Practices.

In a report dated March 23, 2022, Ombudsman Nagler responded to our complaint about a July 5 episode of “Unforked,” a show which describes itself as “Picking apart the food that we eat to reveal the culture and politics baked into it,” which covered the topic of “gastronationalism” and hummus, the beloved chickpea dish enjoyed by peoples throughout the Middle East and around the world.

Do we really need to be funding the CBC’s diversity?

A Billion tax dollars a year is wasted on this crap – “Numbers suggest many American protest convoy donors also gave to Trump, Republicans”

Out of 200 of the top American donors to the convoy protest that paralyzed downtown Ottawa and blocked parts of the Canada-U.S. border, half have names matching those of donors to Republican candidates, the Republican Party or former U.S. President Donald Trump, according to analysis by CBC News.

A search of the U.S. Federal Election Commission (FEC) campaign finance database for 200 of the top American donations to GiveSendGo’s convoy crowdfunding campaign shows that 50 per cent of those donors have names and zip codes matching those of people who have donated in the past to the Republican Party, one of its political action committees or Republican candidates.

Terry Glavin: The CBC’s gleeful promotion of its ‘Genocide Games’ coverage is shameful

It’s a paradox.

Canadians keep telling public-opinion pollsters they’ve had quite enough of the gruesome Chinese police state and would rather have nothing at all to do with the Beijing Winter Games, which officially kick off this week. With all the national shouting and divisive contentions over COVID-19 containment, inflation and a real estate industry drunk on relentlessly rising housing costs, it’s the one big thing Canadians seem to agree upon.
