What one year ago would be considered a crazy conspiracy theory is now becoming a reality.
A Swedish company, Epicenter, has brought forward new tech where they created a subdermal implant to show COVID-19 vaccination certificates. This makes it possible for people to keep their vaccination certificates, right under their skin in a microchip.

LONDON, Dec 18 (Reuters) – Scientific advisors to Britain’s government said it was “almost certain” that hundreds of thousands of people were being infected with the Omicron coronavirus variant every day and hospital admissions were likely to surge.
“Currently observed numbers of Omicron infections admitted to hospital in the UK are probably around one tenth of the true number because the data lags of hospital reporting,” the Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies said in minutes of a meeting on Dec. 16.
Covid-19: More than 10,000 new Omicron cases found in UK
A major incident has been declared in London and more than 10,000 new Omicron cases have been confirmed in the UK, as the variant surges across the country.
A further 90,418 daily Covid cases have been reported across the UK on Saturday, after days of record highs.
Scientific advisers have warned England’s hospital admissions could reach 3,000 a day without new measures.
London Mayor Sadiq Khan said the major incident in the capital showed “how serious things are”.
Covid: Dutch go into Christmas lockdown over Omicron wave

Opponents of vaccinations and the German government’s coronavirus policies were planning to hold demonstrations in several German cities on Saturday.
The largest protest was expected to be held in the northern port city of Hamburg, with around 8,000 registered attendees. Under the slogan “Hands off our children,” they planned to march through the city center, police said.
Vaccinations for children are beginning in Germany, following recommendations made by the country’s top vaccine body. However, parents are divided on the issue.
Men make up a disproportionately large share of U.S. COVID-19 deaths, accounting for 54.4 percent of fatal virus cases, according to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention data.
The sex split is even starker in New York City, where men make of 57.5 percent of COVID-19 deaths, according the city Department of Health.
This despite men comprising only 49.3 percent of the U.S. population and just 47.7 percent of national COVID-19 cases, according to the CDC.

A common refrain of those opposed to vaccines is that immunizations are harmful to people’s health and an infringement on human rights. Any kind of science proving the efficacy of any vaccine is often denied.
In 2021, those health concerns have mutated into a widespread belief among the most staunchly anti-vaccine that if you receive a COVID-19 vaccine dose, you will almost certainly die.
The latter is a baseless conspiracy theory. But tens of thousands of Canadians believe it’s true and have created social media channels to promote it.
I got vaxxed, it’s not my business whether you did or not. Besides it appears Omicron is gonna get us all.
For Ontarians who have done everything asked of them, it feels like they have been taken to the cleaners.
I tried to ask Joe at my local Cadet Cleaners for a comment on the province’s response to the Omicron variant, but his shop is now out of business.

The LCBO says it has already run out of COVID-19 rapid antigen test kits after select stores across Ontario began to give them out on a first-come, first-serve basis on Friday.
“Our supply of COVID-19 rapid test kits has run out. Thanks for your patience & understanding. We’ll post if we receive more,” the LCBO said in a tweet Friday evening.
The organization said Friday morning it didn’t know exact arrival times for specific stores, and expected “limited” supply to be scooped up fast.
What a dumb idea, how much you want to bet these kits start showing up for sale on E-Bay etc?
Ontario reports 3,301 new COVID-19 cases; highest 7-day rolling average in 7 months
Ontario is reporting more than 3,000 new COVID-19 cases for a second day in a row and four more virus-related deaths as the seven-day rolling average topped 2,000 on Saturday.
Provincial health officials logged 3,301 new coronavirus cases today, up from 3,124 infections yesterday and from 1,607 a week ago.
Among the latest cases, 2,338 of the individuals are fully vaccinated, 718 are unvaccinated, 104 have received at least one COVID-19 vaccine and 141 have an unknown vaccination status.
Yes, pandemic fatigue is an issue, experts say. Will Omicron make it worse?
Alberta Premier Jason Kenney recently said that, despite the rapid spread of the Omicron variant across the country, Canadians may be at their “outer limits” of what further public-health restrictions they’re willing to accept.
“Widespread non-compliance,” he told the National Post, was harming the credibility of public-health measures and that many Albertans “have just tuned us out.”
How much did we pay for these sub-standard vaccines? Civil disobedience is our future.

National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director Dr. Anthony Fauci said Friday on CNBC’s “Squawk Box” that COVID protocols may become “more restrictive” with the Omicron variant.

There are calls for Ontario to be plunged into yet another dark winter.
But before we go down that road, here are a couple of points that Ontarians who have suffered so much already should consider.

Ex-Newfoundland Premier, the Honourable Brian Peckford, is the only Canadian remaining who was at the table when Pierre Trudeau crafted the Charter of Rights and Freedoms in the early 1980’s.
In a recent interview, Mr. Peckford offers his opinions on the Liberal government’s handling of the Covid pandemic.

Upon determining by clear and convincing evidence that the health of others is or may be endangered by a case, contact or carrier, or suspected case, contact or carrier of a contagious disease that, in the opinion of the governor, after consultation with the commissioner, may pose an imminent and significant threat to the public health resulting in severe morbidity or high mortality, the governor or his or her delegee, including, but not limited to the commissioner or the heads of local health departments, may order the removal and/or detention of such a person or of a group of such persons by issuing a single order, identifying such persons either by name or by a reasonably specific description of the individuals or group being detained. Such person or group of persons shall be detained in a medical facility or other appropriate facility or premises designated by the governor or his or her delegee and complying with subdivision five of this section.

It has been nearly two years since the first inklings of a respiratory infection in China that would turn the world upside-down. In a rational society, this would be the point where we realized that our attempts to vaccinate against this infection have failed. Yet we persist in our devotion to the sacred serum that will deliver us from our distress.
Currently, 60% of adults in the United States are fully vaccinated. That’s not nearly enough, say the pro-vaccinators. But exactly 0% of the population was vaccinated in 2020, and the number of deaths was lower. That is a profound fact that cannot be ignored.
We can’t shout ‘get your booster’ from the rooftops of the White House, so we asked @PTXofficial to do us one better. Find a booster or vaccine appointment near you at https://t.co/S2DQV6MlBv. pic.twitter.com/r1jwgbHEZ2
