Wuhan Lab Allowed to Destroy ‘Secret Files’ Under Its Partnership with US National Lab, Agreement Shows

The Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) has the right to make a partnering U.S. lab wipe all data arising from their collaborative work, a legal document reveals.

A memorandum of understanding (MOU) of cooperation, signed between the Wuhan lab and the Galveston National Laboratory at the University of Texas Medical Branch, makes it obligatory for each of the two labs to delete “secret files” or materials upon the request of the other party.

Trudeau Hold-Out On Covid Regulations An Assault On Democracy

This week, a federal judge in the United States struck down a national mask mandate on planes and mass transit. In response, seven of America’s largest airlines have repealed rules that customers and staff must wear face coverings.

In the United Kingdom, managing COVID-19 is now an exercise in personal responsibility. In the city of London, few outward signs remain of the global pandemic that disrupted the world for more than two years. No mask mandate is effect for most public spaces. At the end of April, testing for the general public will come to an end.

“To me, COVID is over, I’m happy to say,” said a mother of three.

“There’s a freedom that people were waiting for here and now that it’s here, everyone’s sort of forgotten about COVID.”

Back in Canada, PM Justin Trudeau and half-Saudi Transport Minister Omar Alghabra have reiterated that masks are still required on all flights that arrive in or depart from Canada.

Populism vs. Davos Man during COVID

“We are living in a world designed by Davos Man to direct ever-greater fortune towards Davos Man.

The billionaires have financed politicians who champion the uplifting of the already stratospherically uplifted. They have deployed lobbyists to eviscerate financial regulations, permitting banks to lend and gamble relentlessly, while depending on public largesse to cover their losses. They have defenestrated antitrust authorities, clearing the way for mergers that have enriched investment banks and shareholders, while bestowing oligarchic control upon large companies. They have squashed the power of labor movements, shrinking paychecks and handing the savings to shareholders.”….

Maskaholics

Wearing a mask may still give some people a sense of security, but they could breathe more easily if they’d face the facts.

The pandemic has eased, but not the compulsion of many Americans to cover their faces. Fully vaccinated adults are still wearing masks on their solitary walks outdoors, and officials have been enforcing mask mandates on airline passengers and on some city-dwellers and students.

Throughout the pandemic, he closely examined and criticized how officials used data to make decisions about lockdowns, testing and vaccines.

Fauci touts China’s COVID protocol when confronted on Shanghai lockdown: ‘Better than almost anybody else’

The horrific events in Shanghai continue to shock the world with images of a beleaguered population entirely at the mercy of a soulless bureaucratic regime.

But the medical bureaucrats closer to home refuse to draw the unavoidable conclusions from that terrible example, while continuing to suggest that lockdowns remain a vital tool in the federal government’s bag of tricks. As a case in point, Dr. Anthony Fauci recently spoke with MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell to discuss the latest developments involving the COVID-19 pandemic.

When asked by Mitchell about the situation in Shanghai, Fauci waffled, refusing to condemn the lockdowns and even seeming to repeat the discredited canard that China’s draconian lockdowns had somehow enabled them to handle the pandemic “better than almost anybody else.”

Will China’s zero-Covid policy bring the world’s factory grinding to a halt?

A top Huawei executive has broken ranks to warn that China’s stringent zero-Covid policy may trigger “massive losses” for the tech industry, putting the country’s economy as well as the global supply chain at greater risk.

“If Shanghai cannot resume production by May, all of the tech and industrial players who have supply chains in the area will come to a complete halt, especially the automotive industry,” Richard Yu Chengdong, head of Huawei’s consumer and auto division said in a WeChat post. “That will pose severe consequences and massive losses for the whole industry.”

The last straw for authorities came on March 27, when Sun walked around his campus carrying a placard that read “lift the lockdown on Ludong”.

Police detained him and on April 1 Ludong University expelled him, according to a letter from the university seen by Reuters.

FDA issues emergency authorization for COVID-19 breath test

The Food and Drug Administration issued an emergency use authorization (EUA) Thursday for the first COVID-19 diagnostic test using breath samples.

What they’re saying: “Today’s authorization is yet another example of the rapid innovation occurring with diagnostic tests for COVID-19,” Jeff Shuren, director of the FDA’s Center for Devices and Radiological Health, said in the press release.

And where do you think this is going, hmm?
