Veteran Journalist Slams CBS News for Seizing Reporting Files: ‘Journalistic Rape’

Former CBS News and Fox News reporter Catherine Herridge testified on Thursday about the “journalistic rape” by CBS when the network seized her reporting files upon her dismissal.

“I was locked out of my emails and I was locked out of the office. CBS News seized hundreds of pages of my reporting files including confidential source information,” Herridge said in response to questioning from House Judiciary Committee chairman Jim Jordan (R., Ohio.)

Documents reveal US government agency promoting censorship

America First Legal (AFL), a public interest law firm, has obtained documents through a lawsuit which reveal a government agency’s recommendations for censorship.

The documents, created by the US Agency for International Development (USAID), encourage national governments and private entities to combat disinformation. Its recommendations are vaguely expressed — “regulate ad networks”, for example — but the report spells out various censorship methods in positive terms without explicitly endorsing them. These include disrupting the finances of disfavoured information sources by getting advertisers to pull funding, and shaping the way the public interprets the news through “media literacy” programmes in schools.

Government-Backed Censors Who Rigged The 2020 Election Are Now Stealing 2024

If you didn’t see Tucker Carlson’s interview last week with Mike Benz, you need to take an hour and watch the whole thing. In a mind-bending narrative about the emergence of what Benz calls “military rule” through an online censorship industry in the U.S., he lays out in startling detail just how corrupt and tyrannical the U.S. defense and foreign policy establishment has become.

Feds flagged transactions with keywords ‘MAGA’, ‘Trump’ for financial institutions: House panel

The House Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government on Wednesday announced that it had obtained documents showing that federal agencies flagged financial transactions for financial institutions using politically sensitive terms such as “MAGA” and “Trump.”

The panel described an effort by which Americans might see their transactions flagged while making innocuous transactions such as purchasing a Bible or shopping at sporting goods stores.

Poison Spiders at the Center of the Web

You know why the judge let provocateur Ray Epps off the hook for his antics before and during the so-called J-6 “insurrection,” don’t you? Well, yes, it was partly because he was acting at the direction of blob officials, most likely the FBI, but possibly the CIA, Defense Intelligence, or some black-box fed outfit no one ever heard of (but somehow gets half a billion in funding every year). Ol’ Ray pleaded to one year’s probation (no jail time), 100 hours of community service (checking books out at his local library?), and a $500 fine. Say, what. . . ? A speeding ticket on the Rockville Pike would probably cost you more.

The ‘white rage’ that wasn’t

I suspect many of us can remember former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley testifying alongside Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin on June 23, 2021 at a House Armed Services Committee hearing. In this setting, Milley was asked about reports that the U.S. Military Academy at West Point taught critical race theory along with a seminar on “white rage.”

Obama shaped CIA to boost his political agenda, hired leftist activists, former agent says

Former CIA agent John Gentry said that the CIA became politicized under the Obama administration with the hiring of Democratic activists who shifted the intelligence agency leftward.

Gentry, a Georgetown University adjunct professor who served in the CIA from 1978 to 1990, details the agency’s political changes in his new book, “Neutering the CIA: Why U.S. Intelligence Versus Trump Has Long-Term Consequences.”

Lawsuit Seeks To Untangle Links Between Biden Administration and Southern Poverty Law Center’s Listing on Moms for Liberty

Did the Biden administration coordinate with the Southern Poverty Law Center to designate Moms for Liberty an “extremist” group, and what kinds of communications have the FBI, the Department of Justice, and other federal agencies had about the parental rights group?

Those questions are central to a lawsuit filed last week by the Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project against a host of agencies in the Biden administration for their failure to comply with Freedom of Information Act requests regarding Moms for Liberty, its co-founders, and the Southern Poverty Law Center.

Biden probe censored expert claims that COVID was likely genetically engineered in a laboratory

US President Joe Biden’s 90-day probe into the origins of Covid-19 censored the input of intelligence agency scientists who concluded the virus was most likely genetically engineered.

In May 2021, President Biden tasked the Intelligence Community with providing an assessment into how the pandemic began after reports, first published by Sky News, that researchers at the Wuhan Institute of Virology had been hospitalised with COVID-like symptoms in November 2019 in the suspected first cluster of the pandemic.

Biden got his 10%.

CIA SUED for working with the Biden campaign to produce ‘Dirty 51’ intel letter calling Hunter’s laptop disinformation

The CIA has been sued for its role in helping to craft a letter from 51 intelligence officials discrediting Hunter Biden’s laptop as Russian disinformation.

The letter that was signed by 51 intel officials in 2020 immediately before the presidential election falsely claimed that Hunter Biden’s laptop had all the ‘classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.’

A Republican report released in May showed that the CIA was actively involved in getting signatures for the letter which ‘was a political operation to help elect’ Joe Biden in November 2020.

The Ludicrous Christopher Wray – The FBI has a long history of infiltrating protests.

In his appearance before the House Judiciary Committee this week, FBI Director Christopher Wray said this:

I will say this notion that somehow the violence at the Capitol on January 6 was part of some operation orchestrated by FBI sources and agents is ludicrous and is a disservice to our brave, hardworking dedicated men and women.

Inside Joe Biden’s secret campaign to censor social media

As the Delta variant spread across the US in July 2021, Clarke Humphrey, an official at the White House’s Covid-19 response team, emailed two Facebook executives asking them to take down an Instagram account impersonating Anthony Fauci.

“Hi there – any way we can get this pulled down? It is not actually one of ours,” Humphrey wrote. Less than a minute later, Facebook responded: “Yep, on it!”

Conservative MPs furious after e-mails show federal officials worked on ways not to answer their questions

Federal public servants worked on ways not to answer directly opposition MPs’ parliamentary questions, admitting that doing so raised a communication risk, internal government documents obtained under access to information show.

Civil servants in the Natural Resources Department recommended the use of “limitation language” to answer the written Commons questions from Conservative and NDP MPs, internal e-mails show.

The good news is most civil service positions can be replaced by a small chip upgrade to toaster ovens.
