Nuremberg on the Hudson

Trump’s triumphant Madison Square Garden rally intensifies Nazi madness on the U.S. Left.

On Sunday at a brunch in Budapest, a Dutch colleague overheard two Americans fretting about the Washington Post’s decision not to endorse a presidential candidate this year. The woman griped about the scandal of this decision, and said the newspaper’s supposed capitulation to Trump makes it easier for authoritarians to take power. Her husband just mumbled assent, either because he agrees, or because he just wanted to eat his breakfast in peace.

The Glory of America After Trump Wins

Next week, we face a choice. It is a huge choice. A yuge choice, if you will. The ramifications are enormous. Historic. It’s easy to forget that we are watching history happen. When you read about the past, you read about about when LBJ quit or when JFK was shot. Those are historic moments written in the history books. And we are living through history now. We had both of those things happen again in just the last few months, a dropout and an assassination attempt, except they tried to kill Trump twice and they failed. For those of us who love history, it is remarkable that we are part of it. I remember overhearing command net radio calls during the Gulf War that I later read about in books. Savor it. You are part of forever just for being alive now. People will read about this election cycle for centuries to come, assuming there’s still an America.

In LA, 70 per cent of people are telling me they’ll vote for Trump

In 2016 I believed Hillary would triumph, and dressed up as her for Halloween. I won’t make the same mistake again

I’m rummaging through our dressing up drawer, trying to find inspiration for this year’s Halloween outfit.

When I see it. Hillary Clinton’s face hasn’t aged well. The cheeks are sallow and concave, the forehead pockmarked where the latex has begun to deteriorate – and yet despite these ravages the former Secretary of State is still baring her teeth in a rictus grin.

I last wore this mask eight years ago, almost to the day, and suddenly I’m taken back to the night I put it on and went trick-or-treating in the streets around our house in LA. It was eight days before the 2016 election and the general, pretty smug consensus was that Hillary was going to win.

Dems Panicking Because Literally Hitler™ Attacks Aren’t Working

Vice President and Anointed Democrat Presidential Nominee Kamala Harris doesn’t seem to have a clue about running an effective presidential campaign — or much of anything else, for that matter. To call her campaign “scattershot” would be an insult to 12-gauge shotguns with three-inch barrels. Harris-Walz has been the Spaghetti Approach campaign, throwing everything against the wall and hoping something sticks.

Good thread on the TrumpHitler gambit …

Far From Being a Toss Up, Polls Suggest the Coming Election Looks Like a Blowout for Trump

It has become an annoying and an obsolescent truism to claim that the presidential election is a toss up, a coin toss. This is the opinion of the Democrats still desperately clinging to the possibility of electoral deliverance from a fate so horrible that they had banished it from their imaginations for most of the last four years: the reelection of Donald Trump.

It is also the last refuge of the Never Trumpers, a group that persists and festers in the Republican establishment and a few related elite grips, but amongst the electorate, the Never Trumpers are almost extinct. Almost none of his comments, unlike four or eight years ago, need to be walked back; instead of the vintage Ugly American bully that his opponents represented him as throughout his first term as president, we now have the author of what could be the greatest comeback in American political history, surpassing even Richard Nixon.

I am not so bold as Conrad Black but I do sense the optimism generated by Kamala’s Kollapse.

US Jewish support for Democrats hits lowest point in four decades, but most still back Harris

Support for the Democratic Party among Jewish Americans has reached its lowest point in four decades, with only 63% expressing intent to vote for Kamala Harris, according to a survey by the Jewish People Policy Institute (JPPI).

Despite declining support, Harris retains the backing of the majority, while a notable 24% plan to vote for Donald Trump, largely due to his stance on Israel.

The survey highlights a marked divide in voting priorities, particularly around Israel and antisemitism. Among Jewish Americans who firmly support Trump, 95% cite Israel as a primary factor influencing their vote, compared to only 31% of strong Harris supporters.

Establishment Media Lost Control of Election Narrative

The establishment media’s control over framing the election narrative is “shattered,” Axios’s Jim VandeHei and Mike Allen acknowledged Monday.

The report confirms Gallup polling that shows Americans’ trust in the media is at an all-time low. For years, the media has pushed false narratives that involved Hunter Biden’s laptop story, Russian collusion, the source of the 2020 pandemic, the January 6 investigation, and numerous other hoaxes.

It appears the decision by many papers to abandon the tradition of candidate endorsement was guided at least in part by the market forces hammering the media.

Kamala alone is good reason to take a pass but some owners have decided that in a tough market it no longer makes  sense to alienate a huge segment of the public by reporting your bias rather than the truth.

Jeff Bezos says yes: No One Trusts Journalists and It’s Journalist’s Fault

We must be accurate, and we must be believed to be accurate. It’s a bitter pill to swallow, but we are failing on the second requirement. Most people believe the media is biased. Anyone who doesn’t see this is paying scant attention to reality, and those who fight reality lose. Reality is an undefeated champion. It would be easy to blame others for our long and continuing fall in credibility (and, therefore, decline in impact), but a victim mentality will not help. Complaining is not a strategy. We must work harder to control what we can control to increase our credibility.

Thankfully The Star, a mouthpiece of the Liberal gov’t and the recipient of involuntary tax payer funding, explains that the Washington Post and LA Times are bending the knee in fear of TrumpHitler who surely will silence all critical media! Case closed. Science settled. You are Hitler.

Billionaire owners of Washington Post and L.A. Times are bending the knee to Donald Trump

… The Washington Post and the Los Angeles Times — or more precisely the billionaire owners of those papers — announced late last week that they won’t endorse a candidate in the presidential election now only days away. Both organizations issued statements along the lines of “not telling our readers how to vote.” But it’s not much of a leap to conclude their owners are worried about retribution against their other business interests if they endorse Kamala Harris (as their editorial staffs wanted to do) and Donald Trump is elected.

What the US election outcome means for Ukraine, Gaza and world conflict

When US President Joe Biden walked through Kyiv in February 2023 on a surprise visit to show solidarity with Volodymyr Zelensky, his Ukrainian counterpart, air sirens were wailing. “I felt something… more strongly than ever before,” he later recalled. “America is a beacon to the world.”

The world now waits to see who takes charge of this self-styled beacon after Americans make their choice in next week’s presidential election. Will Kamala Harris carry on in Biden’s footsteps with her conviction that in “these unsettled times, it is clear America cannot retreat”? Or will it be Donald Trump with his hope that “Americanism, not globalism” will lead the way?

Your choice America – a box of wine or Trump.

FBI investigating as ballot boxes go up in flames in Vancouver, Washington

Ballot boxes in Washington State and Oregon were set alight by the same culprit damaging hundreds of votes, the FBI believes.

Footage of the blaze in Vancouver, Washington shows smoke billowing from a red drop box as a uniformed officer scrapes at the smouldering remains of voter slips.

Hundreds of ballots appeared to be reduced to ashes and local media reported that only a handful were saved.

Democrats Are Melting Down on Purpose

The fever pitch of hysteria emanating from Democrats right now has some Republicans thinking that Democrats know they are losing and are desperate. Now, there’s something to that: The trends have been moving against Democrats lately, and there’s an edge of panic creeping into the sound of their leaders and spokespeople. But at least if you look at the public polling, Democrats are still (barely) ahead in the key battleground Senate races, and Donald Trump’s leads in the battleground states are mostly within the margin of error. If the polls are just a few points off-center — well within historic norms — it’s easy enough to see Kamala Harris winning, Democrats retaking the House, and Republicans winning just a one-seat margin in the Senate.

Will The Corrupt News Media Accept Election Results If Trump Wins, Or Will They Start A War?

It was such a fun time last week watching the perpetual drama queens that make up our national news media boil with rage over two newspapers declining to issue meaningless campaign endorsements. But it also revealed something unsettling about the unhealthy degree of emotional investment they have in this race.

Will the media accept the outcome of the election if Donald Trump wins? It’s far from a foregone conclusion that they will. There’s a strong argument they didn’t the last time Trump won. Why should anyone expect them to accept it this time around?

NBC report: Swing state food banks unable to meet demands of hungry clients

The “strongest economy ever” sure has a “weakest economy ever” feel.

According to a new report from Shannon Pettypiece NBC News, food banks lines around the nation are “growing longer” and the demand for food is “significantly higher” than it was during 2020… when the global economy came to a grinding halt, and the government dictatorially shuttered “non-essential” businesses and shoved millions of Americans into debt, poverty, and bankruptcy.

How’s that for building back better?

My Shocking Report from Inside Trump’s Nazi Rally

You have likely already read reports from the mainstream media about the “Nazi rally” President Trump held at New York’s iconic Madison Square Garden last night. Many of these articles appear to have been written by journalists who wisely avoided the menacing event and reported on it from the safety of their own basements.

Could Trump’s chat with Rogan swing the election?

One thing’s for sure: no one would tune in for three hours of unfiltered, unadulterated Kamala.

It’s safe to say that Donald Trump’s appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience last week has set the internet on fire. Hot off the success of Trump’s McDonald’s stunt earlier this month, the former president’s appearance on the world’s No1 podcast looks to have been another publicity masterstroke. As of right now, the episode has over 33million views on YouTube. Which is impressive, given that it’s almost three hours long.
