Rich countries should only eat synthetic beef, says crazy person Bill Gates

Hi Ya Bill! Fuck Off.

Bill Gates has urged rich nations to move to “100% synthetic beef” in order to address the greenhouse gas emissions driving global climate change.

In his new book, How to Avoid a Climate Disaster, the billionaire philanthropist stresses that while it remains possible for humanity to avert the disaster through technological achievements, government policy will ultimately be needed.

The disconnect of Davos Man

The only thing messier than a barely regulated internet is one regulated by the people who would like to regulate it

You may have missed Ursula von der Leyen’s big speech at Davos last week. Most people did. Perhaps because Davos was a more low-key affair than normal this year.

Ordinarily the annual summit of the World Economic Forum allows various world leaders to jet into the Swiss Alps in order to lecture the rest of us on the virtues of zero carbon. But this year the head of the Forum — Klaus Schwab — greeted his guests virtually and alone. Welcoming the president of the European Commission down the line, the two reminisced about last year’s summit and such pleasures as being lectured by Greta Thunberg.

The billionaire takeover of civil society – Wealthy ‘progressives’ are shaping political life through a dense web of interconnected NGOs.

As the founder and operator of a pro-democracy civil-society organisation, I’ve often been astounded at calls to give NGOs a greater say in rule-making, more visibility during negotiations and privileged access to decision-makers. Because I know what few people do – that small, member-driven, self-funded NGOs are relatively rare.

Instead, the kind of organisation that tends to drive the political agenda is generally billionaire (or at least multimillionaire) funded.

GameStop and the Truth Wars

The war to redefine reality has spread from politics to finance.

Who knows exactly when the “truth wars” started, but we can be sure that they have reached a crescendo. In a recent essay, historian Timothy Snyder argued that truth is under attack in America. If it succumbs, he argues, fascism will follow because, without truth to adjudicate disputes, only force remains. Never mind that actually existing fascism was a theory of political truth, and that dictators such as Mussolini and Hitler saw themselves as foes of liberal relativism. Snyder has a point. Americans are engaged in a protracted conflict to determine what they should collectively hold as true, and they are failing in the quest.

The GameStop Boom

The GameStop Boom

Who’s behind the game retailer’s wild ride—and why you probably don’t need to worry

What a difference a year makes. Last year, hedge-funders were throwing up their hands and complaining about how much harder it was to make money. Algorithms moved so fast and bought so much stock that individual active traders, even if they had lots of capital, couldn’t move markets like they used to. But who could have foreseen a pandemic that would put people in front of their computers for hours at a time, with no sports to bet on and an axe to grind against Wall Street?

DeceptiCon Maneuvers, Don’t Forget Who Owns The New York Stock Exchange

With the elite financial class being increasingly exposed over the past 72 hours; and with the collusion between Big Tech and Wall Street in the public spotlight; and knowing the elite Washington DC establishment is a part of that entire corrupt system; and with millions of Americans more able to accept the scale of the issues; perhaps this is a moment to remind ourselves how the BIG CLUB works to deceive under false pretense.

The GameStop Saga Isn’t About Finance, It’s Part Of The Ongoing War Between Elites And Populists

For those who haven’t heard, there’s a bit of a brouhaha brewing with the video game retailer GameStop, which is publicly traded. Much of Wall Street soured on the company, believing it to be the next Blockbuster or Radio Shack: a dinosaur from a bygone era that has no hope of succeeding in the increasingly internet-run future. As a result, a major Wall Street hedge fund worth billions decided to make a bet that the company’s already low stock price would just keep going lower.

Delingpole: Davos Is a Madrassa for Global Eco-Fascist Tyranny

To get a better idea of the fundamentally fascistic nature of the World Economic Forum – plotting global domination online all this week – check out this video from one of its young acolytes.

Alexei Levene runs a company called Desolenator and like all Great Resetters just knows that the transition to the Fourth Industrial Revolution must be accelerated immediately. The main problem is that pesky thing called ‘democracy’.
