Fauci says Canada isn’t mishandling the pandemic’s third wave

U.S. President Joe Biden’s chief medical adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci says Canadian health officials don’t appear to be doing anything wrong in their response to the global pandemic, despite rising caseloads in most parts of the country.

“What goes through my head when I look north is not that Canadians are doing anything wrong or making any big mistakes at all,” he told CBC News Network’s Power & Politics in an exclusive interview.

CDC Says Pregnant Women Should Get Coronavirus Vaccine

The CDC had previously deferred on the question of receiving a vaccination while pregnant, recommending that women consult with their doctors on the issue rather than issuing sweeping guidance. CDC Director Rochelle Walensky cited a study Friday showing that 35,000 women who received the vaccine in their third trimester had no adverse effects.

“[Herd immunity is] theoretically possible but we as a society have rejected that,” Poland told USA Today. “There is no eradication at this point, it’s off the table. The only thing we can talk about is control.

“What has surprised me most is the incomprehensible rejection of science even among otherwise intelligent people,” Poland added. “I’m truly flabbergasted to be watching this on a grand scale.”

Maybe the “experts” shouldn’t have lied to us every step of the way.
