The FBI likely has a case file on Oliver Anthony already, whistleblower says

Oliver Anthony’s “Rich Men North of Richmond” is the most talked about song in America.

Released just this month, the blue-collar tune is already approaching 40 million views on YouTube and landed on top of Billboard’s Hot 100 on Tuesday, making Anthony the first musician ever to hit No. 1 with no previous chart history. It was even the subject of the first question at the Republican presidential primary debate on Wednesday.

The FBI and ‘Radical’ Catholics

New evidence suggests the bureau probe was wider than director Christopher Wray said.

Remember the tempest this year when the Federal Bureau of Investigation was found to be targeting some Catholics as “extremists?” The bureau cast it as the work of a single rogue field office. Well, it looks like the effort was more widespread than our G-men admitted to the public.

That’s the news from a less-redacted internal FBI document released Wednesday by the House Judiciary Committee. Chairman Jim Jordan wants more information from the FBI on how broad this investigation really was.

Judge orders release of three of ‘Newburgh four’ and accuses FBI of ‘trolling for terrorists’

Three men convicted in a post-9/11 terrorism sting were ordered freed from prison by a judge who deemed their lengthy sentences “unduly harsh and unjust” and decried the role of the FBI in radicalizing them in a plot to blow up New York synagogues and shoot down national guard planes.

Onta Williams, David Williams and Laguerre Payen – three of the men known as the “Newburgh four” – were “hapless, easily manipulated and penurious petty criminals” caught up more than a decade ago in a scheme driven by overzealous FBI agents and a dodgy informant, US district judge Colleen McMahon said on Thursday.

FBI Hands Over Documents Relating to Targeting of Catholics

On Tuesday, the FBI handed over requested documents on its efforts to target Catholic Americans after another threat from Congress to hold director Christopher Wray in contempt.

As reported by the New York Post, Congressman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, had subpoenaed the files in question and threatened to hold Wray in contempt of Congress if the documents were not delivered by the deadline of July 25th.

The inside story of how the FBI’s top brass intervened to protect top Democrats

Jerry Dunleavy, an excellent political reporter at the Washington Examiner, has used Twitter to publish what he correctly labels a “scoop,” and he has crafted a must-read. Using my words, not his, he found a source, “a former FBI official from the counterintelligence world,” who explained how a notable coverup worked.  He eschews such conclusory language and wisely sticks to a straightforward facts-first reporting style.

The Ludicrous Christopher Wray – The FBI has a long history of infiltrating protests.

In his appearance before the House Judiciary Committee this week, FBI Director Christopher Wray said this:

I will say this notion that somehow the violence at the Capitol on January 6 was part of some operation orchestrated by FBI sources and agents is ludicrous and is a disservice to our brave, hardworking dedicated men and women.

Muslims Sue FBI for Religious Discrimination, Feds Base Their Defense on ‘Secret Evidence’

Now here’s an interesting case. A group of Muslims is suing the FBI, claiming religious discrimination over surveillance that the feds carried out a few years after 9/11. The hard-Left ACLU and the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) are siding with the plaintiffs, which ordinarily would be a massive red flag impugning their case, but the FBI’s entire case is based on its trustworthiness as an institution. And after all we have seen over the last few years, can anyone really trust the FBI?

REPORT: FBI Helped Ukraine Censor Twitter Users, Stifle Dissenting Journalists

Leaked emails indicate that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has assisted a Ukrainian intelligence initiative to regulate social media users and gain access to their personal data. In March 2022, an FBI Special Agent forwarded a list of Twitter accounts to the platform on behalf of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), the country’s primary intelligence agency.

FBI? What country do they work for?

When a Whistleblower Ain’t a Whistleblower

Politicizing and weaponizing the FBI against its own agents – and the American people.

“When the government fears the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny.” — Quote attributed to Thomas Jefferson, Samuel Adams, and Thomas Paine.

The quote mentioned above is used often, and history has taught us that it has proven to be true regardless of attribution. However, just for the record, I did a little research, and the actual quote of Thomas Jefferson came from a letter written in 1825 to Mr. William Short:

The FBI Knows What Car Was Used In J6 DNC Pipe Bomb, But Refuses To Identify Prime Suspect

Jan 6 DC Pipe Bomb Suspect

The FBI is continuing to stonewall congressional oversight of the agency’s investigation into a pair of pipe bombs found at the Democrat National Committee and Republican National Committee headquarters on Jan. 6, 2021.

On Wednesday, House Republicans on the Judiciary Committee re-upped demands for a comprehensive briefing on the two-year-old case over which the FBI has refused transparency.

FBI Played Fast and Loose With the Facts to Exaggerate ‘Domestic Terror’ Threat

Old Joe Biden said it again last Sunday: “The most dangerous terrorist threat to our homeland is white supremacy.” Old Joe has told this particular whopper before, as has Gestapo chief Merrick Garland and the FBI. Yet actual white supremacist terrorists in any significant numbers have been notably lacking. But you’ll be relieved to know, however, that our nation’s intrepid G-men are on the case: an FBI whistleblower testified before Congress Thursday that the bureau had actually fudged data in order to make domestic terrorism related to the Jan. 6 fake “insurrection” look much bigger than it really is.

The FBI is a danger to democracy

By obsessing over ‘Russiagate’, it let its anti-Trump prejudices get ahead of the truth.

We already knew that the claim Russia colluded with Donald Trump to win the presidency in 2016 was false. Multiple investigations, including the Mueller report, have revealed as much.

So we didn’t really need a 306-page report from special counsel John Durham to tell us again that Russiagate was little more than a smear campaign. But Durham’s report, published earlier this week, is nevertheless shocking. It shows how the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) was actively involved in perpetuating the Russiagate hoax. It reveals how it undertook a multi-year investigation of Trump that it knew was groundless. And it exposes the extent to which the FBI worked with the Hillary Clinton campaign to spread lies about Trump’s ties to Russia in order to bring down the president.
