Sectarian Islamic politics – the future of the Western world?

It is already the case in the UK. Looking at the situation in Britain’s government, one can only ask: Where does it go from here?

Looking at England today, Paul Verlaine would rewrite: “Je suis l’Empire à la fin de la décadence”.

The great Jewish historian David Abulafia writes in The Telegraph that the “survival of the United Kingdom as a beacon of freedom” is at risk. The warning of one of the leading experts on the Middle Ages should not go unnoticed.

After 14 years of Conservative flop, Labour’s long flop begins.

Why ‘Moderate’ Muslim Ed Husain Cannot Discuss Muslim Jew-Hatred Honestly

British Muslim Ed Husain is currently a professor at Georgetown University. Previously, he was a member of the Islamic Caliphate revival organization Hizb ut Tahrir. Husain later drifted into various Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated groups (which included people affiliated with Hamas) and circles within the United Kingdom before allegedly disavowing all of them. Once “de-radicalized,” Husain chronicled his experience (in 2007), and subsequently created the ostensibly “anti-Islamist extremism” British organization, The Quilliam Society.

The most basic unresolved question about Husain’s metamorphosis, is why he chose to name his “Muslim anti-Islamist extremism organization”— since disbanded — after William “Abdullah” Quilliam, a lunatic, late 19th century British convert to Islam. Quilliam, a Sharia supremacist, was appointed “Sheikh ul-Islam of the British Isles,” sought the re-creation of a global Caliphate, and, in a March 1896 fatwa, supported the jihadist Sudanese Mahdist state against “infidel” British soldiers.

Canada revoking JNF Canada charitable status, JNF says motive antisemitic

The Canadian Revenue Agency notified the Jewish National Fund Canada that it was revoking the organization’s charitable status because the government body did find its original 1967 main charitable object unacceptable, the JNF said in a statement and newsletter on Thursday.

JNF Canada national president Nathan Disenhouse and CEO Lance Davis announced in a statement dated Wednesday and published Thursday that they had launched a legal challenge against CRA with the Federal Court of Appeal.

Deborah Lyons: Courageous leadership is needed to combat antisemitism in Canada

On October 7, Hamas terrorists launched the worst attack on Jews since the Holocaust — murdering over 1,200 people, mostly civilians, and taking hundreds of hostages. Just nine days later, I was appointed as Canada’s Special Envoy on Preserving Holocaust Remembrance and Combatting Antisemitism.

Some might say that I consistently find myself in difficult jobs, during especially excruciating times, having most recently led the United Nations’ efforts in Afghanistan when the Taliban took over in 2021. But this role is different. As a diplomat, I dealt with issues that impacted Canada’s relationship with other countries, but as Special Envoy, I’m dealing with an issue that is challenging Canada’s very own relationship with itself, its social cohesion, democratic values, and national security.

This is really sad. Lyons advocates for interfaith dialogue and all the usual Kumbaya nonsense. No one buys this crap save out of touch white guilt suffering bozos like her. The Islamists are laughing at us. Pity they didn’t allow comments.

The D.C. Jihad Shocked Even Dems

But they still won’t touch their own armies of terrorists. Or even call them out by name.

The gameplan for the Netanyahu speech was simple. Most Democrats would attend and sit through it. A whole bunch, including Pelosi and Kamala, would officially or unofficially boycott it, and then issue press releases blasting Netanyahu. And then move the party on with the Obama-era business of getting closer to Islamic terrorists, saving Hamas, and turning on Israel.

The Real Reason Hamas Carried Out Its October 7 Massacre

Earlier this year, the Iran-backed Palestinian terrorist group Hamas published a document titled “Our Narrative – Operation Al-Aqsa Flood” purporting to explain why it carried out the October 7, 2023 attack on Israel during which thousands of Israelis were murdered, raped, tortured, burned alive, and kidnapped to the Gaza Strip.

The document, full of false claims and fabrications, seeks to justify the atrocities perpetrated by Hamas terrorists and thousands of “ordinary” Palestinians who invaded Israeli communities near the border of the Gaza Strip that day.

The Hamas document lists a number of reasons, all of which can be easily refuted, as to why the terrorist group launched its attack on Israel.

U.S. Senators sound alarm over Canada’s acceptance of Gaza refugees

Canada’s acceptance of Palestinian refugees from Gaza is setting off alarm bells south of the border.

In a letter Wednesday to U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, United States Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) expressed concern over the program, which he warned could lead to an increased risk of allowing individuals with ties to terror groups easy access to the United States.

Employment lawyer to probe appointment of Israel hating Muslim human rights chief

Employment lawyer to probe appointment of human rights chief accused of anti-Israel record

The federal government has hired outside legal counsel to lead an independent review into the appointment of Canada’s new human rights chief, who Jewish advocacy groups say is unfit for the role.

We can all take comfort in the knowledge that the Liberal government will exonerate itself of any wrong doing.

Anti-Semitic violence is out of control in Canada

Montreal is not what it used to be. During a visit to Canada’s second most-populous city earlier this year, one thing stood out to me – the huge volume of pro-Palestinian posters, on walls and shop windows, denouncing Israel’s war against Hamas. One read: ‘Manif de solidarité envers le peuple Palestinien (demonstration of solidarity with the Palestinian people).’ Another declared ‘Free Gaza Now’, alongside a cartoon protester wearing a red and white keffiyeh.

Biden Administration Gives Another $100 Million for Terror: Prefers Aiding Palestinian Terrorists Such as Hamas to Supporting Israel

Nothing better illustrates the perversity of the Biden administration’s attitude to the Gaza conflict that, at the same time that Washington is limiting arms exports to Israel, the US is increasing its aid to the Palestinian Authority.

One of the key lessons that the US should have learned from Hamas’s deadly terrorist attack against Israel on October 7, in which 1,200 Israelis were murdered and more than 250 taken captive and held as hostages in Gaza, is that aid donations made by foreign donors invariably end up being used to fund Palestinian terrorists.

Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu mocks campus protesters as ‘Iran’s useful idiots’ in address to rally US support

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu mocked campus protesters opposed to his nation’s war effort as “Iran’s useful idiots” during a joint address to Congress on Wednesday — as he urged the US to remain steadfast in its support to eliminate Hamas terrorists .

“Many anti-Israel protesters, many choose to stand with evil, they stand with Hamas, they stand with rapists and murderers,” Netanyahu declared during his almost hour-long speech to Senate and House lawmakers.

Israel is about to discover how revolting the Democratic Left have become

You’d have to hate Israel very bitterly indeed to wish to deprive it of Iron Dome, its missile defence system that has saved countless lives both before and after October 7. The system consists of ten batteries, with plans for a further five, positioned around the country and at sea at a cost of $50m each.

Yet Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the representative for New York’s 14th district and the figurehead of the progressive wing of the Democrats, openly burst into tears in 2021 when a bill providing $1 billion in new funding to Iron Dome was passed by the House of Representatives.

Anti-Israel Radicals Are ‘Hopeful’ Kamala Will Cast Aside the Jewish State. They Have Plenty of Reasons To Be.

Anti-Israel radicals who resigned their government posts over President Joe Biden’s support for Israel are betting on Vice President Kamala Harris to adopt more hardline policies toward the Jewish state. It’s a good bet: Harris throughout her vice presidency touted her public opposition to Israel’s war on Hamas and praised campus protesters who have violently harassed Jews.
