Clear majority of Canadians agree with removal of anti-Israel encampments, poll finds

Most Canadians support police taking down illegal, disruptive anti-Israel encampments, according to a new national poll.

Conducted by Leger for the Association for Canadian Studies, the poll found some 70 per cent of Canadians surveyed agreed officials were right to have police and private security dismantle two encampments in Montreal, one at McGill University, the other in downtown Victoria Square.

Hamas and Genocide in Israel

“…Their genocidal aim, clear to the Hamas terrorists, was to murder Jews; others, such as Asians and Muslims, were also murdered. What is illuminating is how easily the civilized world, in this instance, accepted that as well as the abduction of 250 hostages. Those who slaughter and take hostages should be the subject of disgrace and condemnation. Instead, frequently, they were celebrated.”

Israeli parliament votes to label UNRWA relief agency a terror organisation

JERUSALEM, July 22 (Reuters) – The Israeli parliament gave preliminary approval on Monday to a bill that declares the main United Nations relief organization for Palestinians a terrorist organisation and proposes to sever relations with the body.

The vote against the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) is the latest step in a Israeli push against the agency, which Israeli leaders have accused of collaborating with the Islamist movement Hamas in Gaza.

French Leftist MP: Israeli Athletes “Not Welcome in Paris”

Thomas Portes, a deputy for far-left La France Insoumise (LFI) stated on Saturday that “Israeli athletes are not welcome to the Olympic Games in Paris.” Speaking at a pro-Palestine demonstration, Portes said, “We are a few days away from an international event which will be held in Paris, which is the Olympic Games. I am here to say that no, the Israeli delegation is not welcome in Paris. … we must use all the levers we have to create mobilization.”

Multiple reactions and condemnations quickly followed.

No, Ed Husain, the Jihad Conquest of Palestine Was Not a ‘Liberation’

Ed Husain, self-styled ex-Hizb ut Tahrir and ex-Hamas “former radical,” now “anti-Hamas/Muslim Brotherhood” campaigner, spoke on July 9, 2024 on a panel entitled, “Islam, Israel, and the West,” at the fourth National Conservatism Conference.

Husain is an “ex-jihadist Muslim,” turned apologist for Islam. Despite his recent assertion to the contrary, the jihad conquest of Palestine was not a “liberation,” and most assuredly did not “reinstate Judaism and Jewishness to Jerusalem.”

The Toronto condo market is imploding during a housing crisis. Here’s how we got into this mess

There are two ways of interpreting the continuing decline of new condo sales — a trend that somehow achieved uncharted lows, according to information on second-quarter activity released earlier this week by Urbanation.

The firm, which tracks the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA) housing market, reported that just 1,688 condos sold between April and June, a 66 per cent decline from the same period in 2023, marking the lowest sales rate in a generation (except for the first few months of the pandemic) — and all this despite overwhelming evidence of a housing affordability crisis.

The Epidemic Of Antisemitism In Canada

The toxic effects of the Hamas’ October 7 massacre in Israel have spilled over into Canada in the form of a sharp intensification of antisemitic incidents.

As Deborah Lyons, Canada’s former ambassador to Israel and now its special envoy on preserving Holocaust remembrance and combating antisemitism, said recently, “It’s clear from the data we’re seeing, particularly coming from police units across Canada, that there’s a huge increase in antisemitism in terms of hate crimes happening. I would say the level of antisemitism now in Canada is at an all-time high. It’s unprecedented.”

Maybe we shouldn’t have imported an Islamist 5th Column after all!

Maybe we shouldn’t have allowed our universities to become racist Marxist shitholes!

Maybe we shouldn’t have declared open season on White People under the guise of DEI and CRT!

How many French synagogues and cathedrals can burn due to ‘incidents’?

Church Arson France – Parish of St. Paul in Corbeil-Essonnes

The authorities talk of “involuntary destruction by fire”: I suspect that these fires have the same source as the desecrated cemeteries and synagogue burnings of Bondy, Clichy, Trappes and many other Jewish places of worship in France.

November 24, 2018: Pontoise Cathedral burns.

February 6, 2019: Lavaur Cathedral burns.

March 18, 2019: the cathedral-basilica of Saint-Sulpice burns.

April 15, 2019: Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris burns.

June 12, 2020: Rennes cathedral burns.

July 18, 2020: Nantes Cathedral burns.

Six great cathedrals of France set on fire.

Anger privilege

If you want to know who has privilege in a society and who doesn’t, follow the anger. There are people in this country (and in Israel, ed.) who can safely express their anger. And those who can’t.

If you were angry that Trump (or Bibi) won, your anger was socially acceptable in certain circles. If you were angry that Biden took over, it wasn’t.

Not all anger is created equal. Some anger is privileged rage.
