IDF soldiers are doing speaking events in Canada. Some say they shouldn’t be here

Violence at a Toronto speaking event has sparked calls for more scrutiny on Israeli soldiers entering Canada, with some saying they should be barred entry or investigated for potential participation in war crimes related to the Israel-Hamas war.

Police arrested and charged six protesters after an event organized by a Toronto Metropolitan University student group Students Supporting Israel (SSI) this month that featured Israel Defence Forces (IDF) soldiers as speakers.

While SSI blamed protesters for a chaotic scene that included screaming and a broken glass door – protesters can be seen on video banging on the venue’s front doors as they are being held off by police — clips shared by Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) Toronto show one of the IDF soldiers grabbing and shoving protesters.

WARMINGTON: Torontonians tired of rules only applying to those who pay the bills

Whether it’s not being able to play O Canada on a speaker, drive a city vehicle without hinderance through protesters or have a basketball net at your house, it seems Toronto is on a ‘No Fun Police’ binge…

They were just doing their job, people are sick of these malcontents littering our streets.

Canadian Museum for Human Rights has become ‘tool’ of one side of the Arab-Israeli story: David Asper

A newly announced permanent exhibit at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights in Winnipeg is being met with heightened concern from Jewish groups.

“The Museum has allowed itself to become the tool, or dupe, of only one side of the story and thereby betrays its duty as a national institution to provide a common and inclusive meeting and educational space on the matter of human rights,” Winnipeg lawyer, businessman and trustee at the Asper Foundation, David Asper, told National Post in an email. His family led the museum’s founding in 2014.

Terry Newman: Concordia student union staffer ensured masked disruptive protesters could not be identified

Julianna Smith, a Concordia Student Union staffer, has been barred indefinitely from all university property for her alleged involvement in protest activities that took place on Oct. 6. On Oct. 7, the two-year anniversary of the terrorist attack in Israel, Concordia became the only university in the world to close out of concern that it could not protect its campus community. And it seems that Concordia’s own student union and at least one of its associations may be at least partially responsible.

Palestinian Terrorists Threaten to Target International Stabilization Force

Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) and other Palestinian terror groups have rejected US-backed United Nations Security Council Resolution 2803, adopted on November 17, which welcomes the establishment of a “Board of Peace” and a temporary “International Stabilization Force” in the Gaza Strip. The resolution is based on US President Donald J. Trump’s 20-point peace plan for ending the war in the Gaza Strip, which erupted in response to the October 7, 2023 Hamas-led invasion of Israel.

Jewish charity loses status following Palestine activist pressure

A third Jewish charity has lost its charitable status in a move its director says was driven by “outside complaints” and not any wrongdoing or misconduct.

Magen Herut Canada Charitable Foundation, a tiny volunteer-run organization, became the latest target of anti-Israel activists after sending volunteers to patrol near anti-Israel encampments at the University of Toronto last year.

South Africa to refuse charter flights of Palestinians over fears of ‘cleansing agenda’

South Africa has said it does not want to receive any more chartered flights carrying Palestinians, days after the controversial arrival of 153 passengers from Gaza in the country.

Many aspects of their arrival remain unclear and disputed.

The flight was part of “a clear agenda to cleanse Palestinians out of Gaza and the West Bank”, Foreign Minister Ronald Lamola said on Monday.

The Israeli authorities have not responded to this allegation. However, they said that South Africa had previously agreed to receive the 153 Palestinians.

No one want’s em, least of all other Muslims.

Why Most Arab Countries Do Not Want Palestinians

Dozens of Palestinians released by Israel as part of last month’s ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas have complained that “no Arab country has agreed to receive us.”

According to reports in Arab media outlets, 145 Palestinians who arrived in the Egyptian capital of Cairo upon their release from Israeli prison “did not find any Arab or Islamic country willing to host them.”

Europe stopped a Hamas-linked terror plot — and Canada should heed the warning

In recent weeks, German authorities — working with partners across Europe and with crucial intelligence support from Israel — disrupted a sophisticated Hamas-linked plot to carry out targeted assassinations against Jewish and Israeli civilians in Berlin and other cities. Five suspects were arrested in Germany, Denmark, the United Kingdom, and at the Czech border. Weapons included an AK-47, eight Glock pistols, and hundreds of rounds of ammunition.

This is misinformation. In Canada only Christians and Nazi Fight Clubbers can be terrorists and all Muslims are saints even the Uber driver sex fiends.

Jewish Montrealer pushes back when passport officials tell her Israel can’t be named as her birth country

A Jewish Montreal woman says she was told by a Canadian passport office employee that she could not indicate Israel as her country of birth because it is “a conflict zone.”

Anastasia Zorchinsky is a Canadian citizen but she was born in Kfar Saba, in central Israel. However, she says in a Nov. 13 video posted on X that the official told her because of the “political conflict we cannot put Israel in your passport.”

Todd Howard: A message to those who injured my Jewish daughter in TMU attack

My children are Jewish. Since the October 7, 2023 attack on the Nova Musical Festival, my eldest child has twice been violently attacked in Toronto, in effect, as a result of being born Jewish. The most recent violence perpetrated upon my daughter saw her hospitalized. I speak of the Nov. 5 attack by masked protesters on the attendees of a private event in downtown Toronto where Israeli Defense Forces soldiers were scheduled to speak.

No concessions to the 200 trapped Hamas terrorists

Recent news items reported that Israel is being pressured to allow 200 hundred Hamas terrorist trapped in an underground tunnel in Israeli-controlled Gaza to have free passage to the Hamas side of the ceasefire line. This is not a joke. It is serious, deadly serious.

Along with all Israelis and Jews, and as a former hostage myself, I would like to express my profound appreciation and gratitude to Prime Minster Netanyahu and to President Trump for their successful effort to end the recent fighting in the Middle East and bring home the remaining living hostages. We anxiously await the return of the last of the murdered hostage’s bodies.

Let em rot.

Palestinians living in Gaza lose lawsuits that would force Canada to process crisis travel visas

Palestinians in Gaza who applied to join relatives in Canada two years ago under Ottawa’s crisis immigration policy but haven’t received travel visas lost their lawsuits trying to force officials to act despite security problems in the war-torn region.

Four similar court actions asked the Federal Court to order officials with Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to process their temporary resident visa applications.

A little good news … cuz they don’t deserve to be here.

Legal challenge launched to halt Palestine flag event at Toronto City Hall

A Toronto-based advocacy group has filed a legal challenge seeking to prevent the planned raising of the “State of Palestine” flag at Toronto City Hall later this month, arguing that the event violates city policy and poses potential risks to public safety.

The Tafsik Organization, which describes itself as a pro-Israel group focused on combating antisemitism and advancing Jewish community interests, filed an application with the Ontario Superior Court of Justice for an injunction ahead of the flag-raising ceremony scheduled for November 17.
