Ottawa is being sued for restoring UNRWA funding by survivors of terror victims

Canadian relatives of victims of the October 7 Hamas terror attacks are suing the Canadian government over its decision last month to resume funding the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), given the controversial agency’s ” history and participation with Hamas,” listed as a terrorist group under Canadian criminal law.

Biden Urges Netanyahu to Agree to ‘Immediate Ceasefire,’ Says U.S. Support Contingent on Steps to Reduce Casualties

President Joe Biden pushed Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu to take concrete steps to minimize civilian casualties in Gaza in a call between the two leaders on Thursday and urged his counterpart to agree to an “immediate ceasefire” deal with Hamas.

Biden linked continued U.S. support for Israel to Netanyahu’s willingness to take “measurable” steps to reduce civilian casualties after a group of aid workers were killed in an accidental Israeli airstrike while delivering food in Gaza on Monday.

Alice and Hamas in Wokeland

Saudi Arabia assumed the presidency of the UN Commission on Women’s Rights. Iran holds the presidency of the UN Disarmament Forum. And there is more.

Peter Pan by J.M. Barrie and Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland are accused of “white supremacy”. The two children’s classics are being treated ike Hitler’s Mein Kampf never was.

York St John University, England, has added a moral censure to the two books and Jules Verne’s Around the World in Eighty Days. “Colonialist narratives,” say the academics. The vocabulary and illustrations are “racist,” “upsetting and offensive.” Peter Pan is lethal with references to “savages”. In Verne, Phileas Fogg travels across continents divided by imperial powers. Another university censored Peter Pan for its “gender stereotypes.”

Trump: Israel is ‘losing the PR war’

Former President Donald Trump says Israel is “losing the PR war” in its war in Gaza because of Israel’s posts to social media showing images of the war.

“And the other thing is I hate, they put out tapes all the time. Every night, they’re releasing tapes of a building falling down,” Trump said in an interview with conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt on Thursday. “They shouldn’t be releasing tapes like that. They’re doing, that’s why they’re losing the PR war. They, Israel is absolutely losing the PR war.”

Trudeau condemns Netanyahu’s comments on strike that killed Canadian, 6 other aid workers

I hate this asshole.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau pushed back Thursday on comments made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about an Israeli military airstrike that killed seven aid workers in Gaza, including one Canadian.

In a video statement released earlier this week, Netanyahu expressed regret over the incident and called it a “tragic case of our forces unintentionally hitting innocent people in the Gaza Strip.” He also said “this happens in wartime” and that Israel was looking into the situation.

“No, it doesn’t just happen,” Trudeau said Thursday during an event in Winnipeg. “And it shouldn’t just happen when you have aid workers for an extraordinary organization like World Central Kitchen risking their lives every day in an incredibly dangerous place to deliver food to people who are experiencing a horrific humanitarian catastrophe.”

Netanyahu won’t be losing sleep.

The Israeli-Palestinian ‘Two State Solution’

Just in time for Easter, another resurrection was recently proposed by Martin Indyk, twice US ambassador to Israel, in the journal Foreign Affairs:

“[The] allegedly dead two-state solution…resurrected by U.S. President Joe Biden and his top national security officials…is the only way to create lasting peace among the Israelis, the Palestinians, and the Arab countries of the Middle East”.

“And how an unimaginable war could bring about the only imaginable peace”.

Curiously, like President Joe Biden and his top national security officials, the ambassador ignores a crucial element: radical Islam does not tolerate the existence of a sovereign non-Islamic entity (such as Israel) on land that once was conquered by Muslims (dar al-Islam, “abode of Islam”). As most Palestinians have been creditably straightforward about, there is no place for an Israeli state.

UK arms sales to Israel should end, say legal experts

Three former Supreme Court justices have joined more than 600 legal experts in calling for the UK government to end weapons sales to Israel.

In a letter to the prime minister, they said exports must end because the UK risks breaking international law over a “plausible risk of genocide” in Gaza.

Rishi Sunak is already facing growing cross-party pressure after seven aid workers were killed in an air strike.

On Tuesday, he said the UK has a “very careful” arms licensing regime.

Buying A House In Canada Has Never Been Harder, Years To Correct: RBC

Canada’s largest bank is warning that housing has never been less affordable. New data from RBC shows housing affordability is now the worst it has ever been as of Q4 2023. Income failed to keep up with mortgage payments, resulting in affordability erosion in every market they track. Forecast interest rate cuts are expected to make a slight improvement, but not much.

Israeli minister ‘yelled at US Secretary of State’ over Rafah invasion, reports say

A top Israeli official shouted at American officials in frustration after the Biden administration pushed back on Israel’s plans to invade Rafah, according to reports.

A source familiar with the meeting told The Telegraph that “it wasn’t an easy conversation” and that the US asked Israel to provide a more detailed plan for the evacuation of civilians from the southern city, where up to 1.5 million people are now living.

Ron Dermer, Israel’s minister of strategic affairs, “began yelling and waving his arms” while defending plans to launch a ground invasion of the city, according to NBC, which cited US officials.

Al-Shifa Hospital and the crisis of the West

‘Let Hamas use hospitals to plot its murderous assaults on the Jewish State.’ Few people outside of Hamas’s own inner circle would say something like this out loud. Few people would give voice to such a pro-war-crime position. No one who wants to be thought of as a moral person, a halfway decent person, would so cavalierly engage in Hamas apologism. And yet this, in essence, is what the West’s activist class is saying when it rages against Israel over its incursions into al-Shifa Hospital. They’re saying Israel should back off and let the people who are already in the hospital – Hamas – do their thing. It’s a pro-terror stance masquerading as peace activism.

End Al Quds Day Of Hate? In Canada? Don’t Make Me laugh!

End the day of hate

Al Quds Day Queens Park 2013 – They teach their children well.

We must reclaim our streets from those weaponizing the Israel-Hamas conflict to destabilize our society. Canadian leaders must proactively take measures to prevent the normalization of the incitement that is tearing apart the fabric of our society at its seams.

First declared by the Iranian leader Ayatollah Khomeini in 1979, Al-Quds Day is held annually on the last weekend of Ramadan. It is an expression of the Islamic Republic’s radical regime’s desire to reconquer Jerusalem, erase the Jewish State, and destroy the Jewish people.

The political will to ban Al Quds Day does not exist in Canada.

Votes are all that matter to our craven Pols so you can count on them to do the wrong thing in the name of preserving “social cohesion”.

Psst … B’nai Brith why are you defending “multiculturalism” when that’s a big part of what landed us in this mess?
