Streets paved with crazed protestors

Leftists are the same everywhere. They are absolutely that and nothing else, whether American or Israeli.

I don’t remember a time quite like this. Seems like the asylums have been let loose and taken to the streets.

True enough, the 60s. Those protests, here in the USA, were for equality/civil rights, but mostly against the Establishment and the Vietnam war.

The youth culture had arrived and if you were 30 and over, you were deemed, and doomed, Establishment.

Biden Must End Qatar’s Malign Role in Gaza Ceasefire Talks and Pier

After the success the Gulf state of Qatar achieved in helping restore the Taliban to power in Afghanistan, Doha is now investing all its energy in seeking to keep Hamas in power in Gaza.

For more than a decade, the tiny Gulf emirate has been using the massive profits it derives from its vast energy resources to sponsor radical Islamist ideology that underpins terrorist organisations such as Hamas.

‘Autonomous Zone for Palestine’ Set Up in New York City Park

In July 2020, residents of Seattle set up what became known as the “Capital Hill Organized Protest Zone,” or CHOP. CHOP was set up in response to the death of George Floyd. Originally protesters wanted a 50% reduction in funding for police. Later, they called for the total abolition of the Seattle police and made several other outrageous demands, like ending prisons, that no responsible government could ever fulfill.

All female hostages in Gaza being sexually abused, freed hostage says

Every Israeli woman who is being held captive by Hamas in Gaza is being sexually abused, freed hostage Mia Regev said during an emergency debate in the Knesset’s Committee on the Status of Women and Gender Equality on the situation of the women hostages.

Regev, who was freed during the hostage deal between Israel and Hamas in November, said that it was “unbelievable” that the Knesset was planning on going on recess on April 8 for over five weeks.

Will Iran attack Israel? Damascus strike means nothing is off limits

When Israel flattened Iran’s consulate in Damascus on Monday, killing Tehran’s top generals in the country, it also levelled the assumption that anything is off limits in its growing conflict with Tehran.

Iran will now be forced to respond. In recent months Israel had assassinated a number of its generals and senior commanders in Damascus, but this was the first time it had targeted an Iranian diplomatic mission. Iran’s ambassador in Syria, who was unharmed in the attack, promised a response of “the same magnitude and harshness”.

A response to Professor Salim Mansur, a once courageous pro-Israel academic who recently made a radical shift and became a strident anti-Israel voice.

Herzl and the Bible – This unsolicited commentary is a response to three essays by Professor Salim Mansur, a once courageous pro-Israel academic who recently made a radical shift and became a strident anti-Israel voice.

I became acquainted with Salim Mansur in 2017 at a conference in Jerusalem, where he presented a positive view of the right of the Jewish people to the land of Israel. As a Muslim, he pointed out that the Quran validated this primordial connection. In the same year, he wrote The Qur’an Problem and Islamism in which he defined Jew-hatred as a pathology, though not embedded in the holy book of Islam.

This comes as a shock, I have held Salim Mansur and his work in high regard for many years.

Below is Salim’s latest piece which came out after the above article was written.

Falsus in uno, falsus in omnibus

The Chronicle of Zionist lies and their implosion foreseen

The owl of Minerva in Roman mythology represented wisdom and the German idealist philosopher Hegel in the 19th century borrowed the symbolism of Minerva’s owl to note that it took flight at dusk, meaning understanding and wisdom came to people about events in history after their passage. It might thus be said that in the fading lights of dusk in which Minerva’s owl took flight over Gaza following the events of 7 October 2023, one could discern the approaching inexorable denouement of Israel as a colonial-settler state in the Levant.

The entire Zionist project in the making of Israel was built upon and sustained by lies and, consequently, there cannot be any avoidance from its eventual karmic – the interlocking chain of cause and effect – dismantling as a historical aberration like other similarly built colonial-settler states that got dismantled, such as French Algeria or the white-minority regimes of Rhodesia and South Africa. This eventual dismantling was foreseen and forewarned by Jews and non-Jews alike who were not gulled by Theodor Herzl’s manifesto, Der Judenstaat (The Jewish State), published in Vienna in 1896 for the scam it was and the effort he set in motion in bringing to fruition his imagined Zionist agenda. Herzl proposed,

Let the sovereignty be granted us over a portion of the globe large enough to satisfy the rightful requirements of a nation; the rest we shall manage for ourselves.

Europe’s policies to combat antisemitism have failed the ‘real world’ test

Part of my job as a rabbi is to inspire, to show my fellow Jews beauty in the seemingly mundane. It is to rally, lead and keep the flame of Judaism alight — a flame that’s endured for thousands of years despite repeated efforts to extinguish it.

But with reported or documented cases of antisemitism through the roof since the Oct. 7 attacks on southern Israel — in Spain, France and the U.K., the rise is over 1,000 percent — my role has become even more challenging, to say the least.

Europe’s Muslim problem is far worse than our own but we’re working to catch up. They will stay the course of appeasement.

South Africa: Safe-haven for Hamas, Islamic State and al-Qaeda Terrorists

Hamas officials celebrate Nelson Mandela in South Africa

South Africa might appear to have scored another diplomatic victory propaganda victory by getting the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to accept onto its judicial docket the African state’s charge that Israel’s presence in the West Bank is an illegal occupation. This recent initiative follows South Africa’s December 29, 2023 presentation to the ICJ that Israel’s military operations in Gaza were supposedly acts of genocide against the territory’s civilian population.

Barbara Kay: BC Must Reject Activist Demand to Teach Historically Inaccurate Account of 1948 Arab-Israeli War in Schools

A pro-Palestinian activist group called Nakba Education BC has sent an open letter and a petition to Minister of Education Rachna Singh demanding that “the Nakba” be immediately (“NOW”) integrated into B.C.’s elementary and secondary school curricula.

Nakba means “catastrophe” in Arabic; it characterizes the ongoing Palestinian view of Israel’s victory in the 1948 War of Independence.

Poilievre wades into Middle East conflict during speech to Montreal-area synagogue

Says Conservatives would ‘defund antisemitism’

It can be one of the thorniest issues for Canadian politicians — highly divisive and filled with decades of fighting, with potential for political blowback from one side or the other.

While conflict has raged in the Middle East in recent months, federal Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre has tended to focus on bread-and-butter domestic issues, such as inflation and the Liberal government’s carbon tax.

World Central Kitchen halts operations in Gaza after strike kills staff

International food charity World Central Kitchen (WCK) is suspending its operations in Gaza following the death of seven of its workers in an Israeli air strike.

The charity said those killed were part of an aid convoy that was leaving a warehouse in central Gaza on Monday.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has acknowledged that Israel’s forces hit “innocent people”.

Gaza’s Hamas-run media office also blamed Israel.

Bad things happen in war zones.

The Second Battle for Shifa Hospital Shows Israel Will Accept Only Victory

This is what a ‘sustainable campaign’ to eliminate Hamas looks like.

Those who camouflage their hostility toward Israel’s objectives in its defensive war against Hamas as little more than antipathy toward Benjamin Netanyahu must be frustrated today. The dubious claim that Israel is conducting a cruel war devoid of respect for human life is being rebutted today by one of the Israeli prime minister’s foremost domestic opponents.
