Double standard: Islamophobia and Jew-hatred

“Islamophobia” seems to be everywhere these days – or at least accusations of it. What does it mean?

Too often it leads to silencing people who have questions about Islam and its teachings. I don’t know of any laws preventing people from criticizing or questioning Christianity or Judaism – in Judaism it seems that what is said is based on context!

… Today, in 2024, there seems to be a double standard in Toronto. Although Brazau was charged because language can be a weapon, those calling for the extermination of Israel and the Jews are allowed to speak whatever they want and protest anywhere – without fear. The October, 2023 barbaric massacre of Jews in Israel by Muslims from Gaza led to full-throated Muslim protests.

Trudeau’s new hate crime legislation is a thinly disguised effort to implement sharia law in Canada.

Praise of Bushnell’s self-immolation puts US closer to suicide bombings

The American radical left’s glorification of the self-immolation of US airman Aaron Bushnell in front of Israel’s Washington, DC embassy on Sunday is another step toward widespread acts of political violence in America.

Bushnell approached the embassy in his uniform, doused himself in a flammable liquid, and before setting himself alight and mortally wounding himself, gave a speech.

Is the Gaza aid checkpoint stampede the moment US patience runs out?

Binyamin Netanyahu is facing his most difficult set of dilemmas since the war with Hamas in Gaza began on October 7.

The circumstances of the deaths of more than 100 Palestinian civilians on the coastal road by Gaza City on Thursday morning will continue to be hotly debated, with each side sticking to its narrative.

The Palestinians claim that a stampede was caused by Israeli troops firing into a crowd gathering around a supply convoy. Israel claims not to have been involved in the stampede. But the facts remain that a large number of civilians queuing for food were killed in an area the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) controls and that Israel bears a responsibility for their deaths.

Will Labour introduce a blasphemy law?

Last night, it was reported that the police were “assessing” a report of hate speech made against Lee Anderson following his claim that “Islamists” had taken control of London and Sadiq Khan.

This is a concerning step, particularly because Labour has used the Anderson saga to divert the narrative away to the party’s adoption of the contested All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) definition of Islamophobia, which could become incorporated into law if it sweeps to power. According to this definition (also adopted by the Lib Dems, Plaid Cymru and the London Mayor’s office), Islamophobia is “rooted in racism and is a type of racism that targets expressions of Muslimness or perceived Muslimness”.

Reinstated Maryland Hate-Crime Commissioner Continues to Post Inflammatory Anti-Israel Content

Maryland hate-crime commissioner Zainab Chaudry continues to post inflammatory anti-Israel rhetoric on social media after being suspended from the body, and subsequently reinstated, for comparing the Jewish state to Nazi Germany.

Chaudry, the Maryland director for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), was temporarily suspended in November by the state’s Commission on Hate Crime Response after she made social-media posts dismissing reports of Hamas killing Israeli babies as “fake.”

Ten days after the 10/7 atrocities, Chaudry compared Israel to Nazi Germany: “That moment when you become what you hated most,” she posted beside graphics of Nazi flags at the Brandenburg Gate in 1936.

The terror of the right

The Oct. 7 atrocities produced a profound sense of disorientation for progressives because the Palestinian Arabs whose cause they had promoted as the acme of conscience and enlightenment turned out to be savages.

There’s a fixed belief in progressive circles that if only Israel’s prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, were to be removed from office, there would be at least a sporting chance of peace in the Middle East.

On Monday night, in an appearance on an NBC show, U.S. President Joe Biden said that Israel must make peace with the Palestinian Arabs to survive. He warned that Israel’s “incredibly conservative government,” which includes the ultra-nationalist National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and others, was “going to lose support from around the world. And that is not in Israel’s interest.”

Islamist denialism has reached crisis levels

Why can’t they say the i-word? Last week, when House of Commons speaker Lindsay Hoyle spoke about the ‘frightening’ death threats against MPs that led him to rip up the parliamentary rule book, he could not bring himself to say who was making them. This week, UK prime minister Rishi Sunak warned of ‘mob rule replacing democratic rule’, as ‘increasingly and intimidatory behaviour’ prevents ‘elected representatives from doing their job’. He gestured to the protests over Gaza, but he did not say anything too specific about the makeup of these mobs.

They fell for the pro-Bin Laden 9/11 propaganda… now they glorify the deranged airman Aaron Bushnell who burned himself to death. Is there no end to the gullibility of the purple-haired leftist Gen-Zers who will inherit America?

US airman Aaron Bushnell, a man so clearly deranged and mentally unwell, burnt himself to death this weekend outside the Israeli embassy in DC in an apparent ‘protest’ against the war in Gaza.

Terrifying footage – that Bushnell livestreamed – shows him dousing his Air Force uniform in lighter fluid before igniting himself and screaming ‘Free Palestine’ as his flesh literally melts away.

‘Lebanon will be next’: Iran greenlights Hezbollah attack on Israel – report

Iran has given Lebanese terror organization Hezbollah the green light to escalate its attacks along Israel’s northern border, the Arabic Post reported on Wednesday, citing high-level Iranian and Lebanese sources.

The Islamic Republic has reportedly set conditions for Hezbollah, ordering it to launch a large-scale attack on Israel only after it “had become certain of Israel’s intention” to carry out an invasion of the southern Gaza city of Rafah.

Hamas claims ‘massacre’ as Palestinians killed in Gaza aid delivery disaster

Dozens of Palestinians have been killed in a three-part disastrous delivery of humanitarian aid to Palestinians in northern Gaza.

The picture is still far from clear, but according to the IDF, the vast majority of Palestinians were killed while trampling each other to get to around 30 aid trucks around 4:00 a.m.

Hamas, without providing evidence, accused the IDF of committing a “massacre.”

In Britain, Another Step Toward the Abyss

The country that stood up to Nazism takes capitulation to Islam to new heights.

“Big Ben has fallen,” tweeted Giulio Meotti, the Italian critic of Islam. Mr. Brexit, Nigel Farage, wrote: “This is the beginning of religious, sectarian politics in our country. It will get very ugly….By the 2029 general election we will have a radical Islamic party represented in Westminster.” And actor-turned-activist Laurence Fox commented: “Expect what happened today…to become a much more regular occurrence as Britain is bullied into submission.”

Hamas has conquered London’s Big Ben

Mahmoud al Zahar, the “surgeon of Hamas”, explained that the destruction of Israel is only the first objective of the Islamic Ummah. Europe comes after and during.

It is difficult to imagine a greater shock than seeing the Hamas slogan “from the river to the sea” projected onto Big Ben in London.

It flows in large letters on the most iconic tower in the United Kingdom, perhaps the world. The screening was authorized by the Metropolitan Police, who had already allowed parades through the streets of London with the flags of ISIS, the Taliban and Hamas after October 7th.

“The Islamists are in charge of Britain,” wrote former Home Secretary Suella Braverman in the Telegraph.

The “Occupation” Dodge

Anti-Semitism in the anti-Zionist movement is increasingly difficult to deflect or deny.

Francesca Albanese, the Italian lawyer who holds the United Nations position of “Special Rapporteur on the occupied Palestinian territories,” is defensive when it comes to accusations of anti-Semitism. This is understandable, considering her own record of controversial statements. In 2014, she wrote that the United States tends to be pro-Israel because it is “subjugated by the Jewish lobby,” while Europe supports the Jewish state because of its “sense of guilt about the Holocaust.” In most places, revealing that you believe conspiracy theories about Jews controlling America would be disqualifying. At the United Nations, it earns you a promotion.

Pakistani Imam Preaches Jew-Hate in Belgian Parliament

In a surreal scene revealed by Flemish anti-jihad researcher Peter Velle, on January 13, a Pakistani Islamist preacher came to the Brussels Regional Parliament in Belgium to chant verses from one of the most radical and anti-Semitic suras, Koran 33. The presentation provoked several reactions of indignation, particularly from the centre-right Mouvement Réformateur party (MR).

Report: British MPs fear for safety over Gaza war

Over 10 British politicians tell Reuters they fear for their safety due to the intimidation and threats coming from anti-Israel protestors.

A growing number of British politicians fear for their safety over their positions on the war between Israel and Hamas, Reuters reported today (Wednesday).

Reuters spoke to more than 10 British politicians who spoke on the condition of anonymity and said that they have been subjected to increasing abuse related to the war.

One Labor MP said that he began to fear for his safety within 10 minutes of expressing support for the State of Israel as he faced shouts and accusations from anti-Israel activists in his district.
