Over 200 Americans move TO Israel since Hamas barbaric attack launched a war and wave of antisemitism

More than 200 Americans have moved to Israel since the barbaric Hamas attack on Israel on October 7.

Aaron Gold, 26, was visiting friends in Israel when the war broke out. After returning to his home in Philadelphia he felt a strong desire to return to the Holy Land despite the ongoing war.

‘Hezbollah could attack now, they could attack in six months, they could attack in six years,’ he told The Times of Israel. ‘You can’t plan it.’

I have read where many more are expected to leave Europe where the situation is much more dangerous.

IDF reveals: This is how bodies of five Gaza hostage were found, recovered

The IDF on Sunday night disclosed the full background behind the finding of five bodies of hostages held by Hamas in a huge underground tunnel near Jabalya in northern Gaza.

Around two weeks ago, the IDF found two bodies. A few days later, it found three more nearby. At the time, the military announced finding only the first two.

The tunnel was vast, including a large elevator and large rooms, and split into side rooms, like command centers, medical stations, prayer rooms, and rooms for manufacturing weapons.

‘No Xmas as usual’: pro-Palestinian protesters demonstrate in US cities

Thousands of pro-Palestinian protesters waved the pan-Arab colors flag and wore the symbolic Palestinian keffiyeh in a series of coordinated “No Xmas as Usual in a Genocide” rallies and marches across the US on Saturday.

Organizers with Shut It Down for Palestine said the organization had focused its protests on the second-most popular shopping day of the year – the day before Christmas Eve – as part of ongoing civic and commercial disruptions. Organizers said they planned to “organize actions to boycott, disrupt and rally at commercial centers”.

Co-ordinators with Shut It Down for Palestine decried Israel’s assault on Gaza as one of “incredible cruelty”.

We’ve covered more than 40 Toronto events since the start of the Israel-Hamas war. What we’ve seen is heartbreaking, hopeful — and complicated

Every part of the world is tethered to Toronto. In this city, with its microcosms of global cultures, aftershocks of every quake are deeply felt. And when there is war, the heightened tensions spill into our streets, our politics and our lives.

In the 11 weeks since the onset of the conflict, the Star has spent hundreds of hours covering more than 40 events in the GTA related to the Israel-Hamas war.

We’ve seen tears and fights. We’ve been to rallies that have drawn thousands to the downtown core, and intimate memorials hosted at neighbourhood parks.

In a nutshell the Star explains why they’re on Team Hamas.

Pro-Palestinians ‘attack’ counter-demonstrator, Canadian flag at Toronto protest

An Iranian-Canadian activist says violent pro-Palestinian demonstrators dislocated his shoulder and ripped away a flag at a protest in downtown Toronto on Saturday.

Video on social media shows Salman Sima, who has counter-protested at recent pro-Palestinian demonstrations in Toronto, struggling with protesters to keep his “lion and sun” version of the Iranian flag, used by opponents of the Islamic regime of Iran. Goldie Ghamari, an Ontario MPP, said the flag represents “freedom and democracy.”

Biden Convinced Netanyahu to Halt a Pre-Emptive Strike Against Hezbollah

WASHINGTON—President Biden urged Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to halt a pre-emptive strike against Hezbollah forces in Lebanon days after Hamas militants’ Oct. 7 assault on southern Israel, warning that such an attack could spark a wider regional war.

Israel had intelligence—which the U.S. deemed unreliable—that Hezbollah attackers were preparing to cross the border as part of a multipronged attack, pushing some of Israel’s more hawkish officials to the brink, officials said.

Israeli warplanes were in the air awaiting orders when Biden spoke to Netanyahu on Oct. 11 and told the Israeli prime minister to stand down and think through the consequences of such an action, according to people familiar with the call.

Sabrina Maddeaux: The Liberal response to Hamas thanking them couldn’t be more offensive

Justin Trudeau’s Liberals need to spend some time over the holidays thinking about the old saying, “show me who your friends are, and I’ll tell you who you are.” Because when Hamas leadership releases a video publicly thanking you for your support, it should be a wakeup call that your actions and words are playing into the hands of a genocidal terrorist group with a single-minded mission to eradicate Jews.

Since the Oct. 7 attacks on Israel, Prime Minister Trudeau and many of his senior cabinet ministers have cynically attempted to “both sides” Canada’s response to a brutal massacre of innocents that Hamas vows will happen again and again.

Muslims call for Intifada on streets of Toronto as they march in support of Hamas

This will only get worse. Much worse.

It happens in every nation Muslims are allowed to settle.

Look to France, Belgium, Germany, Sweden and England for a vision of your future.

Europe’s civilizational war with Islam serves as a preview of things to come in boring old Canada.

Our politicians are leading us down the same path.

I wonder how many of those shocked by the level of anti-semitism revealed after Oct 7 previously preached diversity, coexistence and open borders?

Reap what you sow, we warned you.

And make no mistake anti-semitism in Canada is driven by Muslims and their useful idiots on the left.

Not Jewish? Just remember first the Saturday people.

But ya, fear Diagalozenge or whatever.

Howard Levitt: Is Canada having its Harvard moment?

Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General reportedly asking job candidates to attest they haven’t signed controversial TMU petition

In October, billionaire hedge fund chief executive Bill Ackman and other U.S. business leaders demanded that Harvard release the names of students whose organizations had signed a petition solely blaming Israel for the deadly Oct. 7 attacks by Hamas, in order to ensure that the signatories were not hired “inadvertently” by their firms.

Who Is to Blame for the Anti-Semitism of Young Americans?

In a recent Free Press article, “We Were Taught to Hate Jews,” five individuals from Muslim families report on the anti-Semitism that was integral to their upbringing. One said: “It’s like asking me how often I drink water. Anti-Semitism was everywhere.” Ayaan Hirsi Ali, in her autobiographical book “Infidel,” reports (page 47):

“In Saudi Arabia, everything bad was the fault of Jews. When the air conditioner broke or suddenly the tap stopped running, the Saudi women next door used to say the Jews did it. The children next door were taught to pray for the health of their parents and the destruction of the Jews. Later, when we went to school, our teachers lamented at length all the evil things Jews had done and planned to do against Muslims. When they were gossiping, the women next door used to say, ‘She’s ugly, she’s disobedient, she’s a whore—she’s sleeping with a Jew.’ Jews were like djinns, I decided. I had never met a Jew. (Neither had these Saudis.)”
