Hamas faces ‘unprecedented battle’ against Israel, says Sinwar

Hamas is facing an “unprecedented battle” with Israel, the terror group’s leader in Gaza has said, in his first public message since the Oct 7 attacks.

Yahya Sinwar, who is believed to have been one of the masterminds of the devastating terror attack on Israel, rejected any possibility of compromising to end the war.

Hamas, he said in a letter published by Al Jazeera on Monday, is “fighting a fierce, violent and unprecedented battle against the Israeli occupation forces, and the occupation army suffered heavy losses in life and equipment”.

New York Times sparks outrage over running op-ed by Hamas mayor: ‘You have no shame or dignity’

Gaza Mayor

The New York Times ran an op-ed Sunday by Hamas’ handpicked Gaza City mayor — prompting outrage on social media from Israel supporters who slammed the Gray Lady for amplifying “Jew hate.”

The essay by Yahya R. Sarraj published on Christmas Eve comes amid fury over Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s social media post that denounced Israel as a violent occupying force and likened Jesus to Palestinians.

KLEIN: Proper vetting of refugees is common sense for Manitoba

Recently, I wrote about the planned Polo Park protest by pro-Palestinian activists. Many of these protesters disrupt the lives of ordinary people, families, and Canadian Businesses. It seems like we already have many people in Canada inclined to justify terrorism and take the side of Hamas.

I can’t imagine why we would want to import more people who might be inclined to make lives miserable for normal families.

Pro-Palestine supporters hijack roads surrounding Pentagon chief and NSA advisor’s homes while mob chanting ‘Long live the intifada’ and ‘Christmas is canceled’ storm Manhattan amid nation-wide anti-Israel protests

Pro-Palestine protestors struck cities across America as they vowed to ‘cancel’ Christmas celebrations in the US while Israel continues its onslaught on Gaza.

Large crowds descended on the Virginia homes of Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin and National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan as they marked the holiday season with their families.

In one clip shared to social media, protestors could be heard chanting: ‘Austin, Austin, rise and shine, no sleep during genocide.’

An Israeli airstrike in Syria kills a high-ranking Iranian general

BEIRUT (AP) — An Israeli airstrike Monday in a Damascus neighborhood killed a high-ranking Iranian general, Iranian state media said.

Iranian officials and allied militant groups in the region vowed revenge for the killing but did not immediately launch any retaliatory strike.

The killing of Seyed Razi Mousavi, a longtime adviser of the Iranian paramilitary Revolutionary Guard in Syria, comes amid ongoing fears of the Israel-Hamas war sparking a regional spillover. Iran-backed groups in Yemen, Lebanon, Syria and Iraq have launched attacks on Israel and its allies in support of Hamas.

Benjamin Netanyahu: Our Three Prerequisites for Peace

We must destroy Hamas, demilitarize Gaza and deradicalize the whole of Palestinian society.

Hamas must be destroyed, Gaza must be demilitarized, and Palestinian society must be deradicalized. These are the three prerequisites for peace between Israel and its Palestinian neighbors in Gaza.

First, Hamas, a key Iranian proxy, must be destroyed. The U.S., U.K., France, Germany and many other countries support Israel’s intention to demolish the terror group. To achieve that goal, its military capabilities must be dismantled and its political rule over Gaza must end. Hamas’s leaders have vowed to repeat the Oct. 7 massacre “again and again.” That is why their destruction is the only proportional response to prevent the repeat of such horrific atrocities. Anything less guarantees more war and more bloodshed.

Hamas Supporters Declare War on Christmas

“Joy is canceled,” read the signs wielded by Hamas supporters protesting a Christmas tree lighting at Columbia University. While a student group tried to sing, the terror backers shrieked, “there’s no room for celebration.” And no room for anything except terrorism and hate.

Supporters of the Islamic terrorist group took a special pleasure in attacking Christianity.

Mohammedans in car caravan disrupt Christmas caroling in Washington Square Park

Pro-Palestinian protesters tried to play the role of Grinch when they crashed a Christmas caroling tradition at Washington Square Park Sunday night – but holiday revelers were undeterred as they sang themselves “hoarse” during the dueling events.

Some demonstrators circled their cars around the iconic Big Apple park, blaring music and honking their horns while dozens of others chanted on the sidewalk as carolers gathered to sing holiday favorites on Christmas Eve.

Despicable shitheads.

Victoria theatre entrance vandalized amid protest over play set in Israel

Well I guess they could replace the “Jew Play” with a run of “Krazy For Kristallnacht.”

Stickers and graffiti saying “Free Palestine” have been plastered outside the Belfry Theatre entrance in protest against the staging of The Runner, a one-man play that focuses on the experience of a volunteer member of ZAKA, an ultra-Orthodox rescue service in Israel.

UK: Police arrest protester over ‘pro-Hamas’ words at Gaza rally

One of Scotland’s most prominent pro-Palestine activists has been arrested under counter-terrorism laws.

Mick Napier, a veteran campaigner, has been charged with expressing “an opinion or belief” in support of Hamas, which is a banned organisation in the UK.

He was taken into custody after speaking at a rally in Glasgow against Israel’s attacks in Gaza. He was released and is due to appear in court in January.

Ottawa: Pro-Hamas protest group plans to fight $1,500 noise infraction tickets in court

An organizer of recent protests in support of Palestinians in the ongoing Gaza conflict says she’s shocked and disappointed by the city’s decision to hand out bylaw noise infractions at the event, noting that the event has gone on for over 10 weeks with no issues.

Sarah Abdul-Karim, a member of the Palestinian Youth Movement, confirmed Sunday that three tickets, at $490 each, were handed out during Saturday afternoon’s event.

“Each person who was on the (microphone) got a ticket,” she said.

Hamas supporter threats cross the line. Mall marchers exceed Charter limits, Canadian tolerance standards

HAD ENOUGH yet? Of disruptive pro-Palestinian protests in Canada, I mean. Screaming mobs waving the Palestinian flag this week stormed into busy shopping malls in Toronto, Ottawa and Vancouver disrupting Christmas shopping — hauling down a Christmas tree at one.

Terrified children could be heard on videos crying as their mothers whisked them away from Christmas displays swarmed by demonstrators, leaving one mall Santa stunned at the commotion.

Freedom of expression carries with it the democratic limits that the Charter allows for. It does now allow for harassment, intimidation, mischief or counselling hatred and terrorism. It certainly should not allow thugs to ruin some kids’ Christmas.

Barbara Kay: The Christian organization that is a true friend of Israel’s

Since Oct. 7, I have been writing columns about alarming spikes in antisemitism and the revival of Jews’ historical fears. But in this, my pre-Christmas and final column of 2023, I feel bound to light a candle instead of cursing the darkness. So I’m shifting my focus to gratitude for Christian philosemitism.

I am grateful for all the warm and sympathetic emails I have received from Christian readers, both Catholic and Protestant, who immediately understood Hamas’s pogrom for exactly what it was — terrorism and an act of pure evil — and were horrified by those who strove to give it “context,” or to explain it as an act of “decolonization” or “resistance.”

Standing over Sinwar’s crater of a house, an inside look at Khan Yunis

This time, going into Gaza, I brought earplugs and a face mask.

When I last visited northern Gaza, including Shifa Hospital, I learned the hard way how thunderingly loud it was inside a “Namer” armored personnel carrier (APC) and decided that on the trip to Khan Yunis, being able to hear myself think was a priority.

Likewise, the dust that I inhaled on my last trip to Gaza – the area is so destroyed that both open and mostly closed vehicles get covered in dust – convinced me to pull out the “rainy-day” coronavirus masks that I still had lying around so I could breathe normally.
