Take a guess … ‘Canada’s letting me down’: Palestinian Canadians ask why Ottawa isn’t opening the doors it did for Ukraine

… As the death toll of the Israel-Hamas war — sparked by Hamas’s Oct. 7 attack on Israel — has grown, calls from Palestinian Canadians have increased for Ottawa to help bring their family and loved ones to safety. The federal government says it’s been helping Canadian citizens, permanent residents and their “eligible family members” leave Gaza, but there’s been confusion over who qualifies and questions raised about why Ottawa hasn’t brought in a specific plan to help Palestinians.

WARMINGTON: Condoning anti-Semitism will lead to hate spiralling out of control

How far will the world let anti-Semitism spiral out of control?

Protesters storming school board meetings, pushing blood libels on Jews, and even a seeing menorah lighting cancelled – these are dark times.

A corner was turned in Canada on Oct 7.

Islamoleftism revealed itself to be far more malignant and far more widespread than most believed possible.

The most surprsed are the absurdly numerous Kumbaya Kool-Aid drinkers who believed Islamists were instantaneously made non-death culty on contact with our magic Canadian soil.

A reckoning is afoot and I speculate Oct 7 will result in the birth of a tribalized right.

On an individual level I doubt many who hold anti-semitic, sorry anti-Zionist beliefs will have a change of heart and the idiots who insist you can appease the crocodile will always be with us so long as the croc needs them.

What should worry Canadians is the looming shadow of institutionalized anti-white racism and the politicization of our justice system.

‘The Gospel’: how Israel uses AI to select bombing targets in Gaza

Israel’s military has made no secret of the intensity of its bombardment of the Gaza Strip. In the early days of the offensive, the head of its air force spoke of relentless, “around the clock” airstrikes. His forces, he said, were only striking military targets, but he added: “We are not being surgical.”

There has, however, been relatively little attention paid to the methods used by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to select targets in Gaza, and to the role artificial intelligence has played in their bombing campaign.

The war in the Middle East is creating new divides in CanLit

For Kelly Baron, now ex-publisher of the Canadian literary journal Ex-Puritan, the final straw was a statement re-posted by a colleague on Instagram. It accused Israelis of stealing Palestinian bodies for their skin due to allegedly high rates of skin cancer for Israelis – the suggestion being that Jews are not indigenous to the region.

Even before the skin-stealing post, Ms. Baron felt, after the Hamas attacks on Israel and the subsequent war in Gaza by Israel, that some social media activity by CanLit colleagues went beyond support for Palestinians and strayed into antisemitic territory.

The BBC and other Western media outlets are far more than mere useful idiots

The devastating Hamas weapon of war is the Western media.

Hamas, the genocidal jihadi force responsible for the barbaric Oct. 7 pogrom in Israel, has a devastating weapon of war. That weapon is the Western media.

With some honorable exceptions, these media outlets have been doing Hamas’s filthy work for it. Despite the terror group’s record of lying through its teeth, the media accepts what it says at face value while casting doubt on everything said by the habitually truthful Israelis.

Shocka! Canada hosts Muslim terror linked groups

FIRST READING: The pro-terror hate groups organizing almost all of Canada’s ‘ceasefire now’ rallies

… While leftist Canadian media will often euphemistically refer to Barakat as an “author” or “voice and truth-teller of Palestine,” foreign outlets don’t bother with the distinction. As noted in a 2022 investigation by National Post columnist Terry Glavin, a quick Google search reveals Arab-language Palestinian websites referring to Barakat either as a “leader of the PFLP” or a member of the PFLP’s governing central committee.

It’s for this reason that Samidoun was listed as a terrorist entity by Israel in 2021. Germany would follow suit last month, amid a nationwide crackdown on “pro-Hamas” organizations. According to a Nov. 2 statement by German Minister of the Interior Nancy Faeser, Samidoun has an “antisemitic, inhuman world view” that was “particularly repugnant.”

Canada – Terrorism’s home away from home.

Samidoun and the PFLP have been operating for some time in Canada but have been left alone as the Muslim vote is considered too important to offend by our Politicians.

Toronto Public Library Welcomes Radical Anti-Israel Author

TORONTO – B’nai Brith Canada is urging the Toronto Public Library (TPL) to cancel its event, scheduled to feature a controversial American whose writings wrongly accuse Israel of manipulating the Holocaust to suppress criticism.

Norman Finkelstein, a former political science professor who has been denied tenure in the past over his extreme writings, has been invited to participate at the TPL’s Dec. 5 event – part of an “Intellectual Freedom” program series about free speech in academic settings.

Israel Knew Hamas’s Attack Plan More Than a Year Ago

Israeli officials obtained Hamas’s battle plan for the Oct. 7 terrorist attack more than a year before it happened, documents, emails and interviews show. But Israeli military and intelligence officials dismissed the plan as aspirational, considering it too difficult for Hamas to carry out.

The approximately 40-page document, which the Israeli authorities code-named “Jericho Wall,” outlined, point by point, exactly the kind of devastating invasion that led to the deaths of about 1,200 people.
