Rex Murphy: The undying hatred of Jews poisons the West

The Jews. The Jews.

It is always, so sadly, the Jews. Always.

There is not a humiliation, a torment, an affliction or misery, not a savagery, or horror, either contemplated or put into merciless execution, known to the human mind in its darkest most ungoverned contemplation — none — that with full rage-powered hate and sadistic purpose has not been visited on the Jewish people.

Toddler among US hostages in Gaza – White House

The White House says that a three-year-old American whose parents were killed by Hamas is among the hostages in Gaza.

President Joe Biden raised the issue of hostages, including the toddler, with a call with Amir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad al-Thani of Qatar on Sunday.

It comes as the White House says “urgent” efforts to free hostages taken after the 7 October attack by Hamas are continuing.

Hamas’s Useful Idiots in the U.S., Europe

The “pro-Palestinian” demonstrations that have taken place in the US and some European countries over the past few days are all about hating Israel and Jews, not about helping the Palestinians – especially those who have been living under the rule of the Iran-backed Hamas terrorist group in the Gaza Strip since 2007.

People who are really pro-Palestinian would be demonstrating for them to have leaders that do not siphon off billions in international aid, or who shoot at them when they try to flee to safety, or who do not store weapons and ammunition in and near their homes and schools.

FIRST READING: The Canadian lawyers and professors signing petitions to ‘contextualize’ Hamas terror

This week, more than 700 Canadian lawyers, law students, law professors and other academics signed their names to a petition saying that Hamas’s Oct. 7 massacres should be placed in their proper “context,” rather than condemned. “We reject the notion that it is antisemitic, hateful, or illegitimate to contextualize the October 7th, 2023 attack,” they wrote.

Israel reveals ‘Hamas paperwork’ with translations such as ‘take your pants off’ which ‘suggests terrorists planned to systematically rape women’

Israel has revealed documents it says belong to Hamas which suggest the terrorists had planned to ‘systematically rape women’.

The documents allegedly belonging to the terror group contain an Arabic-Hebrew glossary with sexual terminology including ‘take your pants off’.

Israel shared some 50 translations on its official X account and claims the statements within the pages are ‘evidence’ of Hamas war crimes.

If Canada Is a Likely Target for Terrorist Attacks, Canadians Need to Know

Does the UK know something of the terrorist threat to Canada that we don’t?

We in Canada are very fortunate to belong to a club called the Five Eyes. This is a post-WWII collection of like-minded (well, mostly like-minded most of the time) Anglo countries—Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the UK, and the United States—that share very sensitive intelligence among themselves. The agreement to do so stems from a variety of factors: shared history and culture, common experiences in wartime and peacetime, the English language, and an overall sense that we are all on the “same side” on many matters.

Braverman: Pro-Palestinian marches ‘polluting’ streets with hate ‘can’t go on’

Suella Braverman has said weekly pro-Palestinian marches that have “polluted” the streets with hate “can’t go on”.

The Home Secretary claimed London’s streets had been used to “valorise terrorism” and “further action” was necessary.

Mrs Braverman said some of the placards and chants in evidence on Saturday’s march in the centre of the capital were “clearly criminal”.

Why progressives can’t simply condemn antisemitism

When Hamas attacked Israel in a genocidal pogrom targeting men, women, and children, it was not the start of a war with the traditional goals of strategic victory or conquest, but a war to annihilate the Jewish People.

Let’s tell it like it is: The Arab/Israeli conflict has never been about self-determination for Palestinian-Arabs, who have no historical footprint or ancient pedigree in the land, but about the destruction of Israel and extermination of the Jews, whose ancestral connection to their homeland is, unlike Palestinian Arab claims, incontrovertible.

The root of the conflict – the true basis that nobody wants to acknowledge – is the doctrinal hatred of Jews.

‘Allahu Akbar’ and Oct 7

I have avoided a thorough reading or viewing of the Hamas atrocities on Oct 7. I know enough of what evil is and what can be done to the human body, especially that of vulnerable children and girls, that I don’t need all the graphic detail.

‘Daddy, Daddy, God, why am I alive?’ – A harrowing report from a journalist who watched raw footage of the Hamas Pogrom of 7 October

On Monday 23 October, at the IDF Glilot military base in Herzliya, alongside at least 100 journalists, I was invited to a screening, exclusive to international media. We were warned in advance that the materials we were going to see would be raw and unedited footage, including documentation of murder and other visually gruesome materials. We were also informed that we would not be allowed to bring phones or any other recording devices into the screening auditorium. However, we were allowed to write about what we saw.

France faces new wave of antisemitism as Marine Le Pen marches away from family’s history

A few days ago, Julien Bensimhon, a Parisian lawyer, fell into conversation with a Jewish neighbour in the staircase of the building where his practice is located: she wanted to know whether it was safe to continue to display a mezuzah, a traditional decorative case, on the front door of her flat. “She is really worried that people will come and attack her,” he said.

Bensimhon understood: he, too, is Jewish, and members of his own family were among the 70,000 French Jews deported from the country during the Second World War and murdered by the Nazis.

Met Police hunting for protesters with ‘racist’ posters at pro-Palestinian march

Protesters dressed as Hamas terrorists, praising Hitler and carrying antisemitic placards who “would not have looked out of place in Nazi Germany” are being hunted by police amid anger at the failure to intervene during the pro-Palestinian march on Armistice Day.

A woman marched through central London carrying a placard featuring the Jewish Star of David intertwined with a swastika above the slogan, “No British politician should be a ‘friend of Israel’”.
