Ottawa police investigating Nazi swastika spotted at Hamas Support rally

Ottawa police say they are investigating after someone snapped a picture of a sign comparing Israel to the Nazis at Saturday’s pro-Palestine rally.

The rally, which drew thousands of people, gathered on Parliament Hill Saturday afternoon before marching through downtown Ottawa. Many people waved Palestinian flags and had signs calling for a ceasefire in Gaza and condemning genocide.

No one wants the Palestinian Arabs

Last week, Professor Amir Hetsroni posted an idea with which many readers agreed – he suggested settling the Palestinian Arabs, beginning with those from Gaza, on an island near the North Pole, where, he said, “they can continue their barbaric policies as they wish without harming anyone.”

Professor Hetsroni minced no words in describing the situation Israel faces since the horrifically murderous attack on its citizens on the morning of the Simchat Torah holiday. And it is quite clear that most Israelis are not interested in having neighbors – or citizens, for that matter – who believe in the extremist Islamist world view that wants to destroy the Jews.

The problem is that no one else wants them either.

The French far-left has made France a terrifying country for Jews

One of the most shocking images in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks in 2001 was the sight of Palestinians dancing in the street. Who would have known the murder of 3,000 Americans would elicit such delight?

A larger number of Palestinians were on the streets of the West Bank in January 2015 following the slaughter of the staff of the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo. Their angry placards and bellicose chants weren’t condemning the two Islamist gunmen who had committed the crime but the fact that the same magazine had, in defiance of the terrible attack, published a caricature of the Prophet in its next issue. “France is the mother of terrorism, America is the mother of terrorism,” the protesters chanted.

‘The Elephant in the Room’: The Real Source of Jew-Hatred in the Middle East

“We are not sub-humans. Let me repeat: We are not sub-humans,” said Riyad Mansour, the Palestinian Authority’s representative to the United Nations, after the sub-human atrocities inflicted on innocent civilians in Israel by his fellow Palestinian Arabs. He felt the need to repeat the claim twice last month at an emergency session of the of the UN General Assembly, possibly to try to convince anyone he could. Hamas and Iran reportedly masterminded the murderous invasion. Hamas and Islamic Jihad continue to hold at least 240 Israeli hostages in Gaza.

The wave of anger against Israel goes far beyond ordinary scrutiny

On a freezing day in Paris in 1895, a captain of the French army was led into the courtyard of the École Militaire. Convicted on trumped-up charges of passing military secrets to the Germans, he was to undergo a ceremony of ritual humiliation. An officer tore the badges and stripes from his uniform and broke his sword. The crowd roared: “Judas! Traitor!”

Alfred Dreyfus was a Jew. His ordeal at the military school was the beginning of a 12-year struggle that divided the country and unveiled the depths of French, and European, antisemitism: the Dreyfus affair.

More than 25,000 protesters fill downtown Toronto to demand a ceasefire in Gaza: ‘I just pray to God that this violence stops’

Yhaacub Hans says he can’t work. He says he can’t sleep. His thoughts are focused on his family in Gaza and the civilians being killed around them every day.

His only reprieve from this looping mental anguish, he says, comes when he bands together with people who share his pain.

That’s why the Niagara mechanic donned his kaffiyeh and piled his wife, nephews, one-year-old daughter and 65-year-old aunt into his car and drove to what would become the largest pro-Palestinian demonstration in Toronto since the Israel-Hamas war broke out Oct. 7.

25K? That’s a lot of Hamas supporters.

In a Worldwide War of Words, Russia, China and Iran Back Hamas

The conflict between Israel and Hamas is fast becoming a world war online.

Iran, Russia and, to a lesser degree, China have used state media and the world’s major social networking platforms to support Hamas and undercut Israel, while denigrating Israel’s principal ally, the United States.

Iran’s proxies in Lebanon, Syria and Iraq have also joined the fight online, along with extremist groups, like Al Qaeda and the Islamic State, that were previously at odds with Hamas.

French Jewish woman stabbed in her home in France’s Lyon, police hunt suspect

“Such an act of violence is unthinkable. I offer all my support to the victim and her relatives,” said Lyon Mayor Gregory Doucet on the social media platform X.

A spokesman for the national police gave no further details about the suspect, and said he could not confirm whether police were treating the attack as an anti-Semitic hate crime.

Hamas ‘puts fighters on evacuation lists to stop wounded Palestinians leaving’

Hamas delayed the evacuation of wounded Palestinian civilians from Gaza by placing its own fighters on border departure lists.

A senior official in Joe Biden’s administration said Hamas had repeatedly provided Israel, the United States and Egypt with lists of Palestinians who were wounded and should be allowed to depart – only for it to later emerge during security checks that many of those included were Hamas fighters.

French Jews are Seeking Sanctuary in Corsica

A rabbi on the French island of Corsica has reported that many Jews in France have contacted him about moving to the island as they fear for their personal safety on the French mainland as antisemitism continues to surge following the massacre of over a thousand Israeli civilians by Hamas last month.

Levi Pinson, rabbi of Corsica, told broadcaster Europe1 that he has received many requests from Jews elsewhere in France regarding the possibility of moving to the Mediterranean island, saying, “Many people contact us to find out about the living conditions here and to talk to us about a possible move.”

Thousands of Hamas Supporters descend upon WH chanting ‘Allahu akbar,’ ‘F–k Joe Biden’ as they demand ceasefire

Tens of thousands of pro-Palestinian protesters massed in Washington, DC, Saturday afternoon before descending upon the White House to chant, “Allahu akbar” and “F–k Joe Biden” as they accused the president of genocide and demanded a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

“From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” the crowd dotted with Palestinian flags and signs cried at the start of the event, which drew attendees from across the country.

The chant – which is growing increasingly popular in the wake of Hamas’ deadly incursion into southern Israel last month and Israel’s subsequent retaliatory attacks on Gaza – is widely considered antisemitic because it implies the elimination of the State of Israel and its people.

Riot police clear protesters letting off fireworks from Trafalgar Square

Police were forced to close Charing Cross station in central London as pro-Palestine protesters occupied the concourse, as calls intensified for marches to be banned on Armistice Day next Saturday.

Riot police cleared a group of masked protesters letting off fireworks in and around Trafalgar Square. Some of the fireworks and other missiles appeared to be deliberately aimed at officers.

As a Metropolitan Police helicopter circled overhead, riot police charged into the top end of Whitehall to disperse the youngsters.

Conrad Black: To question Israel’s legitimacy is to question reality itself

Western society, including Canada, must very soon face up to the full gravity of the widespread antisemitic demonstrations that are occurring in major public squares and universities. No attempt to represent these demonstrations as simply manifestations of sympathy for the stateless Palestinians can be allowed to become conventional wisdom. What it is important for the entire West to realize is that those who are now demonstrating in favour of Palestine are seeking the extermination of Israel and that in doing so they are implicitly approving the slaughter of Israeli civilians and particularly the sadistic mutilation and murder of children and women.
