Online trolls hide behind progressive platitudes

LoonWatch.com was born on April Fool’s Day 2009. At precisely 20:33:38, someone used the pseudonym “Zuhair Thomas” to register the new website with GoDaddy, an internet service provider based in Arizona. What “Zuhair” created was a platform for anonymous character assassins, who used the names of little-known fish species — “Emperor”, “Garibaldi”, “Danios”, “Darter” — to conceal their identities. Their targets were so-called “loons”: anyone who spoke out against Islamic extremism, or in favour of Muslim reform.

Practitioners are too frightened of being labelled Islamophobic.

Finally, the truth about Prevent, the government’s counter-extremism programme, is out in the public domain. William Shawcross’s independent review, published earlier this month, showed clearly where the strategy is falling down. Practitioners find themselves harassed by Islamists, undermined by local authorities and under-supported by central government.

While around 3,000 Yazidi children and women are still being held captive at the hands of the Islamic State (ISIS) terrorist organization, many in the Western media are portraying a former “ISIS bride” not only as a victim but as a celebrity.

The ISIS bride in question Shamima Begum, a British citizen who left the UK to join ISIS in Syria in 2015, and was later stripped of her British citizenship. Begum was chosen by The Times Magazine in the UK to lionize on February 4, both on its cover and in an eight-page feature. She is now part of a glamorized “newswashing” campaign to help get her British citizenship back.

The UK’s Special Immigration Appeals Tribunal is scheduled to rule this week on Begum’s appeal against being stripped of her citizenship.

The late Robert Conquest adumbrated three rules of politics. Perhaps the most famous (also known as O’Sullivan’s law) is that ‘Any organisation not explicitly and constitutionally right-wing will sooner or later become left-wing’. I would like to add a fourth law: ‘Any programme set up by government will inevitably metastasise unless consciously cut back by observant officials.’

… When I first saw these documents I felt a sort of white-hot anger. But then I read on and saw that these same taxpayer-funded fools provide lists of other books shared by people who have sympathies with the ‘far-right and Brexit’. Key signs that people have fallen into this abyss include watching the Kenneth Clark TV series Civilisation, The Thick of It and Great British Railway Journeys. I need to stress again that I am not making this up. This has all been done on your dime and mine in order to stop ‘extremism’ in these islands.

Good read. Britain’s anti-radicalization program “Prevent” was advised by an organization called “Hope Not Hate” very similar to the SPLC, ADL or in Canada’s case The Anti-Hate Haters Who Are Violent Antifa Lovers or whatever the hell it was called.

Needless to say all three are scams peopled by assholes that seek to criminalize your views. Unfortunately they often find fellow travelers in the media and government.

A 30-year-old suspected Islamic radical has been arrested in Sweden after allegedly carrying out at least five rapes at a care home while working at the facility last autumn.

The man is said to have been employed at the care home, known as an HVB home in Sweden, in the city of Örebro and is said to have raped a person who was a resident of the home at least five times, with some of the alleged rapes taking place at the home and others at his home.

Is a child shot or burned alive worth less today than a copy of the Hadith burned in a square? The cowardly West seems to think so.

It’s always the same scene: a village and humble houses surrounded by open fields, Muslim terrorists appearing in the middle of the night when everyone is asleep, breaking down doors and shouting “Allahu Akbar”, killing, raping and mutilating women and children on sight, setting fire to churches and houses. Only because they are Christians.

Nigerian Archbishop Matthew Man-oso Ndagoso said that his faithful are being killed “like chickens”. In another country, a bishop reveals: “Catholics are killed in hospital beds”. Yet all these masses of persecuted are not trendy enough to merit the mobilization of the beautiful western people. Those murdered are not even worth the time of the hashtag #savechristians. They don’t move the Western cyber public as much as does a Libyan migrant, males who call themselves women or a Koran burned in a Swedish square…

If the nearly uniform narrative offered in a spate of recent books about “Islamophobia” is to be believed, Western Muslims, who enjoy freedoms denied to their brethren in most places in the world, are being tyrannized by hateful white Westerners afflicted with an irrational “phobia” of Islam and its adherents, which drives them to blithely reenact the crimes their ancestors perpetrated in previous centuries against indigenous peoples in Africa, Asia, and the Western hemisphere.

In these books, Muslims living in the West are the hapless victims of oppression, and their non-Muslim neighbors are the eternal oppressors. Accordingly, these oppressors can only offload their burden of civilizational guilt (and the punishment it invites) by confessing their sins (and those of their ancestors), engage in acts of contrition, and convert, either to Islam itself or to a political agenda that acquiesces in Islamist assaults on the rights historically accorded to citizens in Western democracies. Under this arrangement, the only rights that need to be protected are those of Muslims; non-Muslims have no rights, only rules and liabilities.
