Mainstream Jewish groups need to understand that interfaith dialogue legitimized CAIR

A CAIR leader’s anti-Semitic rant was shocking. Yet despite efforts to shift the narrative, the truth about the group that claims to represent Muslims has long been known.

Perhaps some people were shocked when a leader of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) recently engaged in an epic rant against Jews, their synagogues and their organizations. Zahra Billoo is the executive director of the group’s San Francisco branch and a former leader of the anti-Trump “resistance” Women’s March. But when she told a conference convened by the radical anti-Israel American Muslims for Palestine (AMP) that they should shun mainstream groups like the Anti-Defamation League, Jewish Federations and Hillel, the Jewish establishment reacted angrily.

Canadian Imam Younus Kathrada: Congratulating People on Christmas Is Like Congratulating Murderers and Pedophiles; It Is a Major Sin

Canadian Imam Younus Kathrada: Congratulating People on Christmas Is Like Congratulating Murderers and Pedophiles; It Is a Major Sin

In a Friday, December 17, 2021 sermon at Muslim Youth Victoria, Canadian Sheikh Younus Kathrada discussed congratulating non-Muslims on their festivals during the Christmas season. Sheikh Kathrada said to his audience that since they would not congratulate fornicators, murderers, or pedophiles, they must also not congratulate people who are insulting Allah by celebrating Christmas. Sheikh Kathrada then prayed for Allah to humiliate the infidels, to annihilate the atheists, to destroy the enemies of Islam, and to support those who wage jihad.

A Profanity Laced Islamic Tirade

In a video recently made and uploaded onto YouTube, Bahgat Saber, a Manhattan-based Muslim Brotherhood activist who enjoys life and liberty in the USA, exhibited two aspects that are common to his ilk: extreme vulgarity and warped logic.

Regarding the first point, he spent much of his time attacking Fr. Zakaria Botros (first introduced to the English-language world in this 2008 NRO article of mine). A Coptic Christian priest from Egypt, now in his mid-eighties, Fr. Zakaria has for over two decades been appearing on satellite television, examining and exposing Islam’s many problematic doctrines—for example, sex slavery—often in comparison to the doctrines of Christianity. Although some of his episodes appear under provocative titles—such as “Was Muhammad a Messenger from God or Satan?” or “On the Perverse Sexual Habits of Muhammad”—his mission,  as he has repeatedly stated, “is to attack Islam, not to attack Muslims but to save them because they are deceived. As I love Muslims, I hate Islam.”

Dozens of French academics have warned that freedom of expression is at risk after a German professor was suspended over a row with politics students.

Klaus Kinzler has been locked in dispute for months over accusations of Islamophobia at Sciences Po Grenoble.

In a case that has provoked allegations of left-wing cancel culture, the political studies institute has suspended him for “defamatory remarks”.

The institute is now set to lose local funding because of the row.

Qatar seizes ‘un-Islamic’ children’s toys with rainbow patterns similar to LGBT flags

Authorities in Qatar have seized a line of what they called ‘un-Islamic’ children’s toys that feature rainbow patterns similar to LGBT flags.

The small oil-rich peninsular will host next year’s football World Cup, and despite repeated assertions by authorities that anyone will be welcome to visit for the tournament, homosexuality remains illegal in the conservative Muslim emirate.

The line of rainbow coloured children’s toys were confiscated from stores, with officials saying they were contrary to ‘Islamic values’.

Ilhan Omar’s ‘Islamophobia’ Bill will be praised by Islamic extremists all over the world

The freest nation on earth is now on the verge of creating a position not to protect human rights, but to protect a faith ideology.

Democratic Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar’s “Combating International Islamophobia Act,” a first of its kind, recently passed the House of Representatives (219-212) in a strict party line vote.Established as a hysterical response to Republican Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert’s no doubt rude and ill-advised “Jihad squad” remark, the bill dangerously calls for the establishment of, wait for it, an “Office to Monitor and Combat Islamophobia” in the Department of State. Democratic New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker has now introduced the companion bill in the Senate.

While some critics believe this legislation is pure theatrics and won’t even be brought up for a vote, others surmise that senators will make changes before sending it back to the House, making it very possible that anti-blasphemy will now be codified into American law. This is not hyperbole.

Abraham Lincoln – Kentucky Man

A Kentucky man accused of travelling to Syria to join an Islamic State training camp has been charged in a US federal court after being deported back to the United States, the Justice Department said.

The federal court unsealed an indictment on Monday charging Mirsad Hariz Adem Ramic, a dual US-Bosnian citizen, with providing material support to the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS).

The defendant was also charged with receiving military-type training from ISIS, the DOJ said.

A grim warning, as Paris court hears testimony on the making of a terrorist

The father of the man who made the suicide vests used in the Paris attacks had no answers.

Driss Laachraoui told the court that he had watched, powerless, as his son lost interest in school and embarked on the tragic road that would lead from a local mosque to the Syrian war zone. Najim Laachraoui blew himself up in the suicide attack at Brussels airport in 2016.

The case of the Clain family was even more mysterious.

‘Islamophobic Hate Crime’ in Virginia Turns Out to Be Fake

Want power and influence? The quickest path to both in today’s absurd society is to be a victim, and hate crimes are the currency of victimhood. In such an environment, it is not surprising that many hate crimes would be faked. Despite the fact that this is a recurring phenomenon, however, every hate crime claim is taken at face value in the establishment media and blasted far and wide; when many are found to be fake, the lie has once again gone twice around the world before the truth has finished putting on its shoes. All this played out yet again over the last few days in a Virginia high school, with, of course, no lessons learned.

Six killed by ISIS in Syria’s notorious Al Hol camp this month

Six people, including four women, have been killed in Syria’s Al Hol camp for displaced persons by ISIS in December, a British-based war monitor group said on Sunday.

The camp, which is controlled by the Kurdish-led autonomous administration in north-eastern Syria, houses about 62,000 displaced persons, including relatives of ISIS fighters.

I’m fine with them turning on each other.

Islamic extremists sidestep Facebook’s content police

Photos of beheadings, extremist propaganda and violent hate speech related to Islamic State and the Taliban were shared for months within Facebook groups over the past year despite the social networking giant’s claims it had increased efforts to remove such content.

The posts — some tagged as “insightful” and “engaging” via new Facebook tools to promote community interactions — championed the Islamic extremists’ violence in Iraq and Afghanistan, including videos of suicide bombings and calls to attack rivals across the region and in the West, according to a review of social media activity between April and December. At least one of the groups contained more than 100,000 members.

This is hilarious. BCF’s fan page constantly has photos hidden by FB because they may upset “community members.”

Prosecutors use words of British ISIS militant against him

El Shafee Elsheikh has alleged he was tortured into confessing to crimes.

A British former member of the Islamic State has sought to minimize his role in the captivity of journalists and aid workers, several of whom were killed. But in 2018, court records show he told Department of Defense investigators he was intimately involved in ransom negotiations and privy to details of some hostages’ deaths.

El Shafee Elsheikh, who is facing a January trial in Alexandria federal court, is accused of being part of a notorious quartet of ISIS hostage-takers, known as “The Beatles” because of their British accents.

The man who beheaded some of those hostages in horrific propaganda videos, Mohammed Emwazi, died in a drone strike in 2015. Conspirator Alexanda Kotey has pleaded guilty in Alexandria federal court. A third is imprisoned in Turkey. Elsheikh’s trial will be the first and possibly last time much of the evidence against the group is aired in public.

O’Toole says Conservatives are consulting on the ‘unfair’ Bill 21

In an interview with CBC’s The House airing Saturday, O’Toole said the Conservative caucus has discussed the law. He said he has tasked several people with reviewing the party’s stance on the law and Conservatives are consulting outside groups as well.
