French Riots: Ignoring the Rotten Root of the Problem

… The French nation is deeply divided. But does it still exist? The various political forces have virtually no control over the current phenomenon. The far Left, through the left-wing coalition of the NUPES, and more particularly La France Insoumise, Jean-Luc Mélenchon’s party, have played the very dangerous game of fanning the flames by justifying the violence of the rioters in a lamentable exercise in revolutionary one-upmanship of which the French Left, since 1789, has participated. That said, their mobilisation came to a serious halt, forcing them to recognise the limits of their rhetoric of universal fraternisation of the oppressed. In Brest, rioters attacked the Happy Café, an LGBT bar identified on social media as a “fag bar” by the angry rioters. The bar had to close its doors … and the local far-Left had to admit that the fantasy of a convergence of struggles was nothing but a sham.

… France has welcomed millions of people to its shores but has been careful not to teach them to love their country. Today, the seeds of hatred have been sown among the displaced young people, the French nationals, who loathe the country in which they grew up, aided and abetted by a national education system that has taken great care over the years to instil in them the ‘right to be different’ and ‘respect’ for their cultures of origin. Further harm is then inflicted by a new phenomenon, since 2005, of the assumed Islamisation of the rioters’ discourse, as researcher Florence Bergeaud-Blackler points out: some rioters are allegedly responding to the supposed ‘Islamophobia’ of those in power.

Lots of interesting tid bits in this article.

France Indicts Son of Osama bin Laden for Glorifying Terrorism on Social Media

Osama bin Laden, the former notorious head of the terrorist group al-Qaeda and mastermind of the 9-11 attacks on the World Trade Center in New York, was killed by American special forces in May of 2011 in Pakistan, where he had been hiding for years.

On Thursday, July 6th, it was revealed that bin Laden’s son Omar, who has been living in Northern France since 2021, has been indicted for glorifying terrorism after allegedly posting on social media, praising his father on the anniversary of his death on May 2nd, a report from Le Publicateur Libre states.

Ex-Spy Boss on Race Riots: Nothing Comparable Has Happened Since the French Revolution

Following the six nights of ultra-violent race riots precipitated by the death of 17-year-old Nahel M—which engulfed more than 200 towns and cities across France, resulting in hundreds of injured police officers and more than a billion euros in damage—the ex-boss of the French foreign intelligence agency has said that the country has not experienced social unrest of this kind since the French Revolution.

In exceptionally rare comments given press, Pierre Brochand—the former director of the French Directorate-General for External Security (DGSE), which is among the world’s eminent foreign intelligence agencies—during an interview with Le Figaro, described the past days’ events as an “uprising or revolt against the French national state by a significant part of the youth of non-European origin present on its territory.”

France’s Jewish community on high alert after nationwide riots

Fears mount that anger directed at police for Nahel Merzouk’s death will be aimed at the community after a Holocaust memorial was defaced

France’s Jews are on high alert after the fatal police shooting of a teenager sparked days of riots across the country.

The Jewish community fears that the anger directed at police for the death of Nahel Merzouk, who was of North African descent, will be aimed at them, according to local leaders.

It’s no secret that France’s Jews have been exiting for years now.

The anti-Semitism in Europe in general is at a level we have yet to witness in North America. I stress yet.

Is Civil War on the Horizon in France?

Years of bad immigration policy are finally seeing their comeuppance.

The inflammable cocktail of immigration, crime, real or alleged racism, hard-handed police tactics, and fiery left-wing politicians is again exploding in France’s face. Never before, however, has the c-word — “civil war” — been bandied about so openly.

As change comes to an ancient Irish city, inhabitants strive to be blasé

For centuries, the Irish fought British Protestants and, eventually, southern Ireland prevailed to become the independent Republic of Ireland. However, there’s a new theocratic overlord headed their way, and they don’t seem inclined to fight this time. Preemptive surrender appears to be the chosen pathway, at least for those people in Galway who were told the most common boy’s first name in their city.

Did drug lords end the French riots?

‘Dealers told the rioters to stop the violence so that they could resume drug dealing’

It wasn’t President Macron who brought six days of rioting in France to an end, nor the brave bands of mothers who called for calm in some of the inner-city estates. It wasn’t even the presence of 45,000 police and gendarmes on the streets that persuaded the rioters, arsonists, vandals and looters to stand down. Instead, it seems that it was the drug gangs who decided enough is enough. Having so many boys in blue patrolling the streets was bad for business and so gang leaders exerted their influence and ordered the young hoodlums back to their bedrooms.

I have wondered at the sudden de-escalation.

Riots Again in France

Following the killing of a 17-year-old boy, France is once again the scene of riots that reflect the gulf between traditional France and the suburbs — the result of immigration over the last 40 years.

Nahel Merzouk was killed by police. He was being chased in Nanterre, near Paris, by two policemen on a motorcycle for traffic violations and refusal to stop the car he was driving. After Merzouk was forced to stop the car due to traffic congestion, the policemen approached his car and drew their weapons. Merzouk then drove off, at which point one of the policemen fired his weapon at the car, fatally wounding Merzouk. If Merzouk had followed the orders of the police, he would not have died.

Germany arrests 7 on suspicion of forming ISIS-like terrorist group

The suspects arrested in Germany had also been collecting money for Islamic State since April 2022 and repeatedly transferred it to the group abroad.

German police arrested seven people on Thursday on suspicion of founding a terrorist organization with the aim of carrying out high-profile attacks similar to Islamic State, prosecutors said.

The Turkmen, Tajik, and Kyrgyz nationals arrested in the western German state of North Rhine-Westphalia had known each other for a long time and entered the country from Ukraine shortly after the war began in 2022, said prosecutors.

Two ISIS monsters and three children on way home from detention camps in Syria

Two Canadian women and three children on way home from detention camps in Syria

OTTAWA – Two women and three children who were temporarily missing in Syria after failing to board a repatriation flight to Canada in April are finally on their way home.

The women and children were among a group of 19 people Canada agreed to bring home from Kurdish-operated prison camps in northeastern Syria in January.

They have been held for years at displaced persons camps in a region now controlled by the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces.

Stupid move allowing murder cultists into your home.

A new blasphemy battle is coming – Highly discriminate violence is on the rise

Last summer, Sir Salman Rushdie told a German magazine that some normality was finally returning to his life. Two weeks later, he was stabbed multiple times on stage in New York. The incident was a cruel reminder that, despite all the time elapsed and normality resumed, the fatwa against him was every bit as valid as the day it was announced: Valentine’s Day, 1989.
