Hostility Toward Christians Skyrockets Across Europe

Report fingers radical Islam and radical leftism as motivations for attacks on Christians.

While Christians in America are celebrating an end to the hostile Biden-Harris regime, Christians in Europe witnessed increased persecution and hatred last year, according to a new report. The Observatory on Intolerance and Discrimination against Christians in Europe (OIDAC Europe) published its annual report on Friday, examining instances of “intolerance and discrimination against Christians” over the course of 2023. Unfortunately, the report found that religiously-motivated hate crimes against Christians more than doubled last year.

Mississaugastan Held Their Yahya Sinwar Memorial Rally Despite Much Huffing & Puffing

Rosie DiManno: We need to hear more from Mississauga’s mayor on Hamas controversy

Mississauga Mayor Carolyn Parrish is no stranger to contempt-signalling.

She’s called Americans “bastards,’’ referred to the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq as a “coalition of idiots,’’ stomped on a George W. Bush doll and was kicked out of the Liberal caucus for describing then-prime minister Paul Martin as “weak.’’ That was in her MP era.

Which is merely to suggest that theatre of the absurd is right in the mayor’s wheelhouse.

This is a good rant by Rosie DiManno of the Star against Mississaugastan Mayor Carolyn Parrish but as I posted on X  it misses the mark.

Where DiManno and others go wrong is in their refusal to recognize that Parrish isn’t the problem her constituents are.

Instead we get over the top outrage at the Nelson Mandela slur and a recitation of the memorial creators prolific Islamist lunacy.

Parrish and Firas Al Najim are good lightening rods for Rosie’s Two Minute Hate but they’re the symptom not the disease. Islam is.

Parrish is loathsome but she’s not stupid and knew her Islamist support base would back her against demands to ban the Sinwar memorial and nothing says that better than yesterday’s videos of the Sinwar celebration (See below).

I can’t wait for Justin Trudeau’s statement of outrage.

If Oct 7 has taught us anything it is that support for Israel’s destruction has deep and wide support among the Muslim diaspora, our schools, universities and the political elites.

Will anything be done about Carolyn’s constituents?

You know the answer.

The elites who enthusiastically imported and continue to coddle the Islamists now cosplay their support for the Jews while simultaneously condemning our Islamophobia.

You and I are expected to serve as props in what amounts to an elite power struggle.

No thanks. I refuse to be cannon fodder for an elite who have demonized me as an Islamophobe and smeared me as a racist oppressor in their DEI struggle sessions.

Word of advice, fear who may follow Parrish as mayor and make sure any solution you offer to deal with Carolyn’s supporters includes Mass Deportation.

PS. I get Mandela is a Liberal Totem*  but please. h/t Patti Jo for the vids.

German Greens Advocate “Women Only” Train Carriages

Antje Kapek, the transport policy speaker for the Green Party in Berlin, has called for the introduction of train carriages for exclusive use by female passengers. This follows a shocking upsurge in serious sex crimes on trains and buses, with Berlin alone experiencing the equivalent of more than one such assault every day. Frankfurt is heading in a similar direction.

Islamo-Nazis: I’m Applying for a Foreign Passport

I have started the process of applying for an Argentinian passport. If you live in Europe and have any familial connection to a far-flung land, you should consider this, too. Not to leave a sinking ship. I intend to stay and fight (by which I mean try to convince minds). But as an insurance policy. I’ve sat through history classes—as have many of you—wondering why on earth the Jews didn’t leave sooner.

Never again.

Ivison: Canada is ‘rolling out the red carpet’ for radical Islam

Western democracies are not pushing back on violent Muslims who are seeking to dismantle our way of life, said Yasmine Mohammed, a women’s rights activist and author who was forced to marry an al-Qaida terrorist when she was 19.

“We’re rolling out the red carpet. And if anybody tries to say anything, then that person is demonized as an Islamophobe or a racist or a bigot or whatever, just for speaking up against what any normal, decent human being would be speaking up against,” she said.

WARMINGTON: Organizer says Sinwar vigil still on despite Mississauga mayor’s denial

Muslims Desecrate Remembrance Day

This is Mississauga. Not Gaza.

Seems some are having a difficult time understanding that.

In a mysterious video posted to social media, the supposed organizer of an upcoming martyr “vigil” for Hamas’s deceased leader — killed by Israel last month — promises it will happen at Celebration Square in Mississauga as if it was in Gaza.

Amsterdam Struggles to Quell Unrest Days After Attacks on Israeli Soccer Fans

Authorities in Amsterdam are grappling with unrest after violent assaults targeting Israeli soccer fans last week sparked outrage around the world and kicked off a charged debate over migration and integration in the Netherlands.

Amsterdam police said they had arrested five more people in connection with last week’s violence, which included targeted assaults on Israeli soccer fans by attackers who chased them through the streets on motorbikes. Four of those remained in custody as of late Monday, police said. Four others detained on Thursday and Friday also remained in custody, the Amsterdam prosecutor’s office said.

Europe’s Jews should leave now before it’s too late

“Jews Must Flee Holland in 2011”. This is the title of one of my Arutz Sheva columns in 2011.

2011…It seems like a century ago. I could dig through the archives for more similar headlines. But it has actually become annoying to be right in hindsight. Last week’s pogrom in Amsterdam should be the final wake-up call for Dutch Jews, but I doubt it will be.

The Chief Rabbi of the Great Synagogue of Paris, Moshe Sebbag, recently called for departure: “There is no future for Jews in France. I tell all young people to go to Israel or to a safer country.”

Germany: 17-year-old Muslim arrested over alleged terror plot

Prosecutors in the northern German city of Flensburg said on Tuesday that a youth arrested last week was planning an Islamist terror attack.

He had “sufficiently concrete plans for an attack” to warrant an arrest, they added, saying there was also evidence of his radicalization.

The young man had been detained a week earlier in the town of Elmshorn and remains in custody while police continue the investigation.

More than 100 groups helping to fuel explosion of antisemitism: Report

OTTAWA — One-hundred and eleven organizations are behind Canada’s worrying spike in antisemitism since last October’s Hamas terror attacks, a new report suggests.

And foremost in the report’s conclusions, released last week by Jerusalem-based think tank NGO Monitor, is a worrying lack of financial transparency with Canada’s nonprofits and charities, leading to groups subsisting on money from dubious or even illegal sources.

If it doesn’t include the Liberal Party it’s BS.

Ontario school played Palestinian protest song in Arabic as its Remembrance Day music

An Ottawa school played an Arabic-language Palestinian protest song associated with fighting in Gaza as the soundtrack to its Remembrance Day presentation, causing outrage and distress for some students and parents.

… Principal Aaron Hobbs defended the selection during one of those meetings, saying it was chosen to bring diversity and inclusion to Remembrance Day that is usually only about “a white guy who has done something related to the military.”

Looks like someone needs a lecture on antisemitism!
