The Red-Pilling of John Cleese

The Red-Pilling of John Cleese

In 1979, comedian icon John Cleese sat across from the Bishop of Southwark and broadcaster Malcolm Muggeridge on BBC’s Friday Night, Saturday Morning, defending his troupe’s film Monty Python’s Life of Brian against charges of blasphemy. Calm, articulate, and fiercely secular, Cleese argued that religious institutions should never be immune to satire, ridicule, or robust critique. For many years, this battle often defined Cleese’s public persona: a classic British liberal, an iconoclast fighting back against the conservative Christian establishment of the 20th century.

The Islamic Terrorist Conquest of West Africa

The Islamic Terrorist Conquest of West Africa

The widened scope and quickened pace of the Islamic State’s military operations in the Sahel region — just below North Africa, roughly from Senegal to Sudan — threatens to alter the strategic orientation of the African continent. Efforts at countering terrorist operations in the Sahel, such as they were, have evidently failed. As all roads to Mali’s capital of Bamoko are now blocked, that country might be the first state to “go under.”

Toronto during FIFA World Cup at greater risk than Vancouver for terrorist attack: National security expert

Toronto during FIFA World Cup at greater risk than Vancouver for terrorist attack: National security expert

On May 6, the Trump White House released its 2026 United States Counterterrorism Strategy that found “legacy Islamist terrorists,” narcoterrorists, and violent extremists as the primary threats to their homeland. Now with the FIFA World Cup kicking off June 11 across North America, the document lands as the U.S., Canada, and Mexico are in the final weeks of preparing to host the largest sporting event on earth.

The threat level has increased considerably in recent months. In March, LBC exclusively reported that ISIS had been actively encouraging followers to target the 2026 World Cup, calling for mass casualty attacks. This month, Al-Qaeda released a new issue of its English-language periodical Inspire in video format, titled “Why We Call for Jihad Operations in the West,” encouraging lone wolf attacks inside Western countries. A Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) analysis published last week concluded: “The risk has never been higher.”

Qatar and the Fifth Column Grassroots of the West

Qatar and the Fifth Column Grassroots of the West

Before we come to the threat that my native Qatar poses to the West, I think it is helpful to understand how Western culture opened the door to its enemies.

Lionel Shriver, the author of We Need to Talk About Kevin, has written A Better Life, the controversial novel of the year, about how Westerners fail to defend a privilege that they feel they haven’t earned, thus becoming all giving of their cultural inheritance to foreign cultures, which are all taking. The New York Times and others are enraged and doing their best to dismiss A Better Life as a mean, racist, and bigoted tirade about immigration. It is not.

The prison lives of Sara Sharif’s parents

The prison lives of Sara Sharif’s parents

For those banged up in Britain’s high-security prisons, the reminders that life hangs by the thinnest of threads keep coming.

Earlier this week, a court heard how murderer Donald Gaote-Oueyeya stabbed the neck of a fellow prisoner in HMP Frankland.

Fearing that his victim, an alleged gangland boss, had ‘put a price on his head’, the 26-year-old fashioned a blade from a piece of cutlery and launched an attack ‘without warning’.

Ivanka Trump targeted for assassination by IRGC terrorist in twisted plot to avenge president taking out his mentor: sources

First Daughter Ivanka Trump was targeted for assassination by an Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) trained terrorist in a twisted plot to avenge the president taking out his mentor, The Post has learned.

Recently captured Mohammad Baqer Saad Dawood Al-Saadi, 32, made a “pledge” to kill Ivanka and even had a blueprint of her Florida home, sources claimed.

The Iraqi national was allegedly targeting President Donald Trump’s family in response to the killing of Iranian military chief Qasem Soleimani in a US drone strike in Baghdad six years ago.

Canada-Israel relations are the worst they have ever been, ambassador says

Israel’s ambassador to Canada Iddo Moed says the government-to-government relationship between the two countries is the worst it’s ever been, summing up what he describes as a “long impasse” in ties strained during his country’s war with Hamas.

The flashpoint has been Gaza, which is in the grip of a severe humanitarian crisis after more than two years of war between Israel and Hamas. Israel was attacked by Hamas militants in an October, 2023, assault that left around 1,200 people dead and about 250 taken hostage.

The Muslim Brotherhood’s covert presence in the West

The West offers the “ideal environment” for an organization like the Muslim Brotherhood to carry out its operations “because we are extremely tolerant,” says Lorenzo Vidino, an expert on the Islamist organization.

The Muslim Brotherhood has inspired or spawned some of the world’s most dangerous terrorist organizations. Yet its goals, strategy, structure, and financing remain poorly understood – even by many of the world’s leading national security and intelligence agencies.

How can gang-raping schoolgirls at knifepoint not lead to a prison sentence?

‘I think of you as very young’, said Judge Nicholas Rowland to a trio of Traveller teenage boys in Southampton Crown Court yesterday. ‘None of you have been in any big trouble before… You have all done very well with the restrictions put in place throughout the trial.’ He assured the minors – the youngest of whom was just 14 years old – that ‘none of you need to go to prison today’.

Media’s shameful silence as yet another gang of Muslim rapists are jailed

Media’s shameful silence as yet another gang of Muslim rapists are jailed

TUESDAY’S silence was deafening. Not a single word from local MPs Kim Leadbeater (Labour) and Iqbal Mohamed (Independent/Palestine), although at least muftis and imams were clamouring to reach the top of the town hall steps to beg the public’s forgiveness for their medieval cult’s defiling of little white girls. Only joking, obviously. I mean, another 20 child rapists banged up for 277 years? It’s hardly news any more around Dewsbury and Batley.
