“The advanced bunker of the Resistance Front”. This is how official media in Tehran describe the Gaza Strip as it emerges from its latest mini-war against “The Zionist enemy”. Needless to say, Iran’s “Supreme Guide” Ali Khamenei, regarding himself as leader of the “Resistance Front,” is already looking forward to the next round of this sordid duel. In messages to Ismail Haniyeh of Hamas and Ziyad Nakhalah of the Islamic Jihad for the liberation of Palestine, “Supreme Guide” Ali Khamenei asserts that he has received “a divine pledge that total victory is on the way”, and demands that the two groups continue the fight until “our holy land is cleansed of the existence of the usurper”.

Tehran media claim that “the great victory” supposedly achieved by Hamas and Islamic Jihad is, to a large extent, due to financial, material and training support from the Islamic Republic.

Macron threatens to withdraw French troops from Mali

President Emmanuel Macron has warned that France would withdraw troops from Mali if political instability there leads to greater Islamist radicalisation.

It follows a second coup in nine months in the West African nation.

Mr Macron warned of the risk of Mali “moving towards” greater Islamist influence.

France has 5,100 troops in the Sahel region which has been a front line in the war against Islamist militancy.

Paris, April 4, 2017. 4:00 am. A man breaks into the home of Sarah Halimi, a 65-year-old retired Jewish physician and educator. He beats and tortures her for over an hour while reciting verses from the Quran and repeatedly shouting, “Allahu Akbar!” [Allah is the greatest!”]. He uses anti-Semitic slurs and calls her “Sheitan” (Satan). He throws her from the balcony of her apartment and she falls to the ground, three floors below, dead. The police arrest him.

What happened was an unspeakable antisemitic murder. It was also the start of a process that brought to light once again the many serious and shameful dysfunctions that mark today’s France.

British-born former Islamic extremist, 29, reports his parents to the police for ‘radicalising him as a child’

A former Islamic extremist has lodged a complaint with police, accusing his parents of radicalising him as a child.

The 29-year-old’s case could lead to the first prosecution of its kind in the UK, but experts fear that current legislation may not allow charges to be brought.

The man, who is British-born of Pakistani origin, alleges his parents began radicalising him from the age of five after falling under the influence of a fundamentalist branch of Islam known as Salafism.

How London Bridge terrorist Usman Khan was a ‘poster boy’ for rehab who played the system… and took experts for fools

When Usman Khan was convicted for being part of a plot to bomb the London Stock Exchange, the judge was under no illusion about the serious danger he posed to society.

Mr Justice Wilkie singled him out from other extremists on trial because he was clearly a devious and scheming man dedicated to his extremist ideology.

The judge said that even after serving a lengthy custodial sentence, Khan would continue to pose a ‘significant risk to the public’ because he was ‘working towards a more ambitious and more serious jihadist agenda’.

Major alarm with a fatal outcome on the corner of Hebebrandstrasse and Sengelmannstrasse: a man keeps walking down the road with a knife, threatening motorists.

He damages vehicles with his gun, shouts “Allahu Akbar” several times! Then he goes off on alerted police officers.

A patrol officer shoots. The knife man collapses bleeding on the sidewalk. An emergency doctor and a paramedic take care of him. But despite resuscitation, he dies on site.

France: Policewoman stabbed by “known radical” … motive unclear

“A man stabbed a municipal policewoman several times in the premises of the municipal police in La Chapelle-sur-Erdre, in Loire-Atlantique. The policewoman is seriously injured. The suspect, known for radicalization, was arrested by the gendarmes and seriously injured during the operation.

…The suspect was arrested by the gendarmes a few hours later. Three gendarmes were injured during this operation. The suspect, armed, was seriously injured. According to reports from Europe 1, he is known to be radicalized and was released from prison a few weeks ago. This man, of French nationality, radicalized in prison and is registered with the FSPRT (file of reports for the prevention of terrorist radicalization). Batley Grammar has caved to the mob

Cartoons of Muhammad have now been banned from the school’s teaching materials.

A teacher at Batley grammar school in Yorkshire was suspended from work in March. He was forced into hiding, fearing for his life after receiving death threats. All he did was show pupils a cartoon of Muhammad, as part of a lesson about free speech and blasphemy.

A mob of religious conservatives gathered outside his school to protest against the cartoon. The school obliged them and duly punished the teacher. The head apologised for the teacher’s actions and sent pupils home early for the Easter break.

Germany: New Strategy to Combat ‘Political Islamism’

The largest parliamentary group in the German Bundestag, the faction of the ruling Christian Democratic Union (CDU) and its Bavarian sister party, the Christian Social Union (CSU), has approved a wide-ranging strategy to contain the spread of political Islam in Germany.

The plan, outlined in a new policy paper, “Preserving Free Society, Promoting Social Cohesion, Fighting Political Islamism,” warns that a growing number of areas in Germany, where German law is overruled by Sharia law, are in danger of becoming “parallel societies.”

The document also warns that many mosques and Islamic associations in Germany are controlled by foreign governments and that they are producing a generation of German jihadists who extol martyrdom and threaten Germany’s liberal democratic order.

Can anyone think of another “religious” group that has ever required the constant concern of western governments as the Islamic cult?
