Why Are the Biden Administration, EU, Appeasing the Iranian Regime?

While the European Union has leveled different kinds of sanctions on Russia, including restricting access to the EU’s capital and financial markets, the EU nevertheless continues to appease Moscow’s staunch ally, the world’s largest sponsor of state terrorism, Iran.

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is opportunistically using the humanitarian tragedy in Ukraine to spread the narrative that the war is not Russia’s fault, but rather that the West and the “mafia regime” of the US, which is trying to negotiate a new nuclear deal with the mullahs, are to be blamed. Meanwhile, he is trying to advance his country’s revolutionary principles and hegemonic ambitions and promoting his long-held anti-American and anti-Western policy.

Joe Biden begs dictators for oil while Canada’s energy industry remains hobbled

U.S. President Joe Biden is learning a hard lesson about the geopolitics of energy and what it means for America and its allies to be reliant on oil and gas produced by unsavoury regimes.

On Tuesday, the Biden administration followed Canada’s lead and banned petroleum imports from Russia, in response to its unprovoked invasion of Ukraine.

Remember, the Bidens Are Trash

He’s as terrible a president as he is a grandfather.

Tuesday, Joe Biden took to a podium at the White House and did perhaps the one virtuous and potentially effective thing he’s done since his inauguration. Biden signaled, as part of the non-kinetic war he’s declared against Russia, that America will no longer buy the 650,000 barrels a day of oil we’re currently buying from them.

In case you might be confused, this column seeks not to credit Joe Biden.

Ukraine Crisis: The Next Biden Defeat?

… What everyone can see is that the great power status of the United States, already badly damaged by the Biden administration over the past 14 months, has been damaged even more. The US has not deterred Russia from acting in Ukraine, and has not even slowed down or interrupted Russia’s aggression. There was no “resolute, massive, and united Transatlantic response.” There has not even been a resolute and massive American response.

Biden’s Iran Deal Gives Regime Access to $90 Billion, $7 Billion for Ransom, Sanctions Relief to Terrorists

Gabriel Noronha, writing in Tablet magazine, says the deal does not restore President Barack Obama’s old Iran deal, a weak agreement from which President Donald Trump withdrew, but goes much further in giving Iran money and sanctions relief.

Desperation: Biden woos Venezuela, Saudis for oil … while clinging to climate-change restrictions at home

If the Joe Biden administration has any strategy at all on energy, it appears to be of the rotating-despot variety. It seems Biden would desperately like any country other than his own to step up its production. That desperation has led the White House to send envoys to Nicolas Maduro, hoping to convince the Venezuelan tyrant to turn on the Russian tyrant to get more of the dirtiest oil available…

Gee, What Could Putin Possibly Have on Biden That Would Make Joe Keep Buying Russian Oil?

Putin has started what some people are referring to as WWIII. Biden’s response has been to join other nations in hitting Putin with some financial sanctions, which have thus far not changed Putin’s game plan.

Biden is also sending, depending on your source, roughly $74 million to Russia EVERY DAY for oil.

Why hit Putin with sanctions if you’re handing him mad stacks for oil? Something is up. Biden could open the Keystone XL pipeline. He could “drill, baby, drill” in the States and tap into what might be billions of barrels of oil, but White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki refers to that idea as a “misdiagnosis.”

So instead, Biden is helping to pay for Putin’s war.

Fox News & Newsmax Took Biden Money To Push Deadly COVID Vaccines To Its Viewers

HHS purchased advertising from major news networks including ABC, CBS, and NBC, cable TV news stations Fox News, CNN, and MSNBC, legacy media publications including the New York Post, the Los Angeles Times, and the Washington Post, digital media companies like BuzzFeed News and Newsmax, and hundreds of local newspapers and TV stations.

Biden’s Bizarre SOTU Proves He’s Unfit for Office

A majority of Americans now believe he’s unable to serve effectively as president.

Much has been written about President Biden’s surreal State of the Union address, but the commentariat has studiously ignored the real problem with the speech. The trouble with this unnerving oration isn’t that much of it was fiction or that it revealed a vision of the nation that isn’t shared by most Americans. Its scariest feature is that it was filled with semi-coherent gibberish delivered by a man who is cognitively impaired and obviously unfit to carry out the duties of his office. If Biden were your father, you would relieve him of his car keys, yet he possesses the authority to launch a thermonuclear strike and hit virtually any target on the planet.

Biden’s ‘Capitulation’ To Iran Endangers Arabs, Middle East, U.S.

As the world’s attention is focused on the Russia-Ukraine war, the Arabs are continuing to express fear about the possibility that the Biden administration and the world powers will revive the 2015 nuclear deal with Iran.

The Arabs are warning that the appeasement of the extremist and terrorist regime in Tehran would allow Iran’s proxy militias to continue their attacks on America’s Arab allies and massively destabilize the Middle East.

Biden’s Political Myopia Endangering Europe: Allow the EastMed Pipeline

Once again U.S. President Joe Biden’s strategic miscalculation is coming with a strategic cost: appeasing NATO’s pro-Putin, part-time ally Turkey and jeopardizing Europe’s energy security.

The past several years saw the East Mediterranean turning into a slow-fuse time bomb sitting over rich hydrocarbons claimed questionably by Turkey as a stand-alone regional force versus an alliance of Greece, Cyprus and Israel.

In this tug-of-war, Turkey threatened to take military action if the alliance of rival countries went ahead with its plans to bypass Turkey and transport an annual 20 billion cubic meters of natural gas to Europe with a planned underwater pipeline. Turkey alleges that any such pipeline would violate its sovereignty over the Mediterranean and proposes, instead, unsurprisingly, a less costly pipeline carrying natural gas to Europe through Turkish territory.

Anti-China for thee but not for we

Washington has in recent years given Israel an earful about its economic ties to China. Israel has responded positively, even at the risk of inviting short-term economic harm. Recently, Israel rejected a bid by the state-owned China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation to build a light rail system. In a bizarre twist, CRRC is now more welcome in the United States thanks to a decision by the Biden administration to remove it from a list of Communist Chinese military companies.

Ukraine: Cuban Missile Crisis, deja vu?

… Putin was reluctant to make his moves while Trump was in office. He respected Trump. He feared Trump.

As he was all-Russian, so Trump was all-American. A terrible clash was inevitable; which Putin preferred to avoid. He considered Trump’s grit. He knew he’d lose.

Then came the election that seated Biden in the White House and for Putin, this was an answer to godless prayer.

That American voters would choose as their leader a man so lacking, was just the stroke of luck he needed.

Stunning Discovery – Evidence Suggests U.S. Intel Baited Russia in December by Telling China Ukraine Was Coming Into NATO

Yesterday the New York Times reported on U.S. intelligence and diplomatic officials from the State Dept sharing intelligence with Chinese officials in the three months leading up to the Russian invasion.  The narrative from the article tells the story of the U.S. trying to convince China in December, January and February to intervene and persuade Russia not to cross the border into Ukraine.

Many people have looked at this story from the perspective of incompetence, ie. why would the Biden team think China would not share the intel, etc.

However, when it comes to these types of issues, never ascribe to incompetence that which can be explained by intent.
