Liberal riding association accepted donation from accused Iranian money launderer

A Liberal member of parliament’s riding association received a $240 donation from a man suspected by CSIS of laundering money for the Iranian regime.

Elections Canada records show that Alireza Onghaei, originally from Iran, donated to the Richmond Hill Federal Liberal Association on Dec. 3, 2019. The Liberal MP for Richmond Hill is Majid Jowhari, who was born in Iran.

Trudeau Is An Ugly Liar

Prove me wrong:

Trudeau was asked why Canadians could travel out of the country to tropical all-inclusive vacations, while children are being fined for playing hockey on an outdoor rink.

“There are rules in different part of the country that apply differently, and different jurisdictions will set up the rules they think are best based on the best advice from public health officials,” said Trudeau.

“We have strongly discouraged non-essential international travel, including by imposing mandatory quarantine to anyone returning to Canada, and now mandatory testing before they get on a plane to come back to Canada,” said the prime minister. …

On Wednesday, Bloc Quebecois leader Yves Francois Blanchet questioned newly-appointed Transport Minister Omar Alghabra’s ties with what he called “the political Islamic movement.”

Blanchet said that “questions arise” due to Alghabra’s role as the former head of the Canadian Arab Federation.

“I was absolutely floored,” said Trudeau. “Carefully coded questions, particularly this week when we just lived through last week, what happens when leaders don’t take care of the words they do, and play these dangerous words around intolerance and hate.”

“That kind of political pandering to the worst elements and to fears and anxieties has no place in Canada,” said Trudeau.

In order for the F@g to be a traitor, he would have had some allegiance to Canada in the first place. As usual, he is divisive and petty like a teen-aged high-school queen.

LAWTON: The Liberals take aim at True North

Despite Justin Trudeau’s many proclamations about the importance of press freedom, his actions show it’s not a liberty he cares about in practice.

After True North’s Andrew Lawton did a year-end interview with Conservative leader Erin O’Toole, the Liberals sent out a fundraising email maligning True North as “far-right” and “anti-immigration.”

This isn’t just an attack on True North, but on all those who view and support True North’s content, Lawton says.

Liberal Donors Favoured for Judicial Appointments

Far more Liberal donors have been appointed or promoted as judges than donors for other parties since Justin Trudeau was elected, a new tally shows, despite the prime minister’s promise to use a merit-based system.

In total, about 28 per cent of federal judicial appointments or promotions under Trudeau have been people who solely donated to the Liberals in the past, compared to four per cent who were solely Conservative donors and one per cent who were solely NDP donors. A further seven per cent had donated to the Liberals and at least one other party.

Raymond De Souza: “Ottawa’s secret plan to host Chinese military, while ignoring the Two Michaels, makes for chilling reading”

Read the whole thing:

Ezra Levant and his rambunctious Rebel Media have done Canadians a service, with merit aforethought. Our foreign affairs ministry did Levant a service, unwittingly, by answering an access to information request and forgetting to black out the embarrassing bits. The documents confirm that Michael Kovrig and Michael Spavor, at the two-year mark of their hostage taking in China, are getting no service at all from the highest levels of our diplomatic bureaucracy. …

The diplomats simply don’t get that this is about what China did unlawfully to the Two Michaels, not about what Canada did lawfully in arresting Meng. It seems superfluous for the PLA to send spies to Petawawa when its propaganda runs rampant on the senior floors of the Pearson building.

The bureaucrats, always punctilious in writing about “Ms. Meng” cannot bring themselves even to mention the Two Michaels by name, referring to them only as “consular cases” as if this might be a dispute about pork tariffs or a lost shipment of peaches, rather than kidnappings.

Canadians owe a debt of gratitude to that GAC functionary who “forgot” to black out the memoranda before sending them to Rebel Media. There were no national security secrets, just the secret attempts by our diplomatic high command to compromise our military secrets and degrade our dignity, quailing before tyranny and not lifting a finger for the Two Michaels.

Also:

The Liberal government was dismayed when the Canadian military cancelled winter exercises with China’s People’s Liberation Army, according to top secret documents published Wednesday. …

One of the concerns from the U.S. related to “undesired knowledge transfer” from Canada to China.

A February 2019 memo to Ian Shugart, deputy minister of foreign affairs, reads, “Should Canada make any significant reductions in its military engagement with China, China will likely read this as a retaliatory move related to the Meng Wanzhou case.”

The memo also said that if DND/CAF cancelled other events there should be “careful communication strategies” to avoid it being linked to the Meng case.

(Sidebar: I call bullsh–. The Chinese have no intention of releasing those two men and the Trudeau hand puppets don’t want to upset their Chinese bosses.)

Somewhat related:

Cardinal Joseph Zen Ze-kiun has warned that the recent arrest of Jimmy Lai shows a rise in “political intimidation” against journalists in Hong Kong, part of a systematic erosion of basic freedoms, including religious freedom, by the Chinese government in recent months.

Dominion Voting Systems CEO is a DONOR to Justin Trudeau

You’ve probably heard a lot of stories in the news recently about Toronto-based Dominion Voting Systems and something called “The Great Reset.”

What do these two stories have to do with one another?

Well, as I reported, Dominion Voting shares an office — specifically, an office floor — with the George Soros linked Tides Foundation. But it’s more than just that, the whole office building is a hive for leftist organizations. It also happens to be home to the organization started by Catherine McKenna before she entered politics; even Justin Trudeau’s Parliamentary Secretary Adam Vaughan has his office there.

But this story is more than a few companies just sharing a building. Dominion Voting’s founder and chief investor, John Poulos, is a donor to the Liberal Party of Canada.
