“Mass Immigration – Follow the money”

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) attempted to spin the agency’s low arrest and deportation numbers in fiscal year 2021 by blaming them on the pandemic, a Trump-era rule and lack of cooperation with foreign countries, according to internal documents obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation.

ICE’s communications team acknowledged that the agency’s Fiscal Year 2021 Annual Report, which featured a massive decline in deportations and arrests, would likely be the subject of criticism, and prepared a response for acting Director Tae Johnson and acting Chief of Staff Jason Houser to downplay the low levels of interior immigration enforcement, according to internal communications obtained via a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request. The report was also delayed, which ICE attributed to the fact that the report was a compilation of what would otherwise be multiple separate reports.

On Wednesday, Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin revealed on Special Report that Biden Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas knew that the images of migrants being whipped by border patrol agents were being misconstrued, according to a DHS e-mail obtained by the Heritage Foundation. While at the time the three evening news networks leaped to lambast the Border Patrol agents, they are conveniently quiet over the revelation that Mayorkas knew the truth despite rushing to the White House press briefing room to excoriate Border Patrol.

Britain has too many low-skilled migrant workers and very high numbers of international students, who often brought dependents with them, the country’s new interior minister Suella Braverman said in an interview with The Sun on Sunday newspaper.

… As a way of driving a wedge through the Conservative electoral coalition, and risking the support of the working-class voters who gave the party its majority at the last election, it is difficult to top. While the Government is offering tax cuts and bigger bonuses to those at the top end of the labour market, it is offering more competition for those at the lower end, bringing job displacement and lower wages for many.

The problem is not just political. For there are good social and cultural reasons to want to reduce and control immigration. Even liberal academics report that increased diversity inhibits social trust and undermines the solidarity necessary to sustain progressive taxation, welfare systems and public services. As recent communal violence between Hindus and Muslims in Leicester shows, diversity is not simply “our greatest strength” but a challenge that requires patience and stability to overcome.

Canada uses mass immigration to depress wages in order to help the rich stay rich but currently they’re calling it “fighting inflation”.

The Bank of Canada has instructed the corporate class to not grant wage increases while the Liberal party shoots for a record high immigration intake.
