Ottawa allowed in half of foreign nationals red-flagged as security risks, audit finds

Of the 7,141 cases where security screeners sent IRCC a ‘non-favourable’ recommendation during the years covered by the audit, 3,314 were allowed into Canada

OTTAWA – Nearly half of foreign nationals flagged by security agencies to the Immigration Department for ties to serious offences including war crimes, espionage and terrorism were allowed to take up residency in Canada between 2014 and 2019.

An internal audit of the Immigration National Security Screening Program found that immigration officials ultimately approved temporary or permanent residency, or refugee applications for 46 per cent of the more than 7,000 cases where the Canadian Border Security Agency (CBSA) recommended against applicants being allowed into the country.

CBC explains why you’re a racist: Blaming immigration for the country’s housing crisis disguises the real problem, usual suspects say

It’s an argument that comes up time after time whenever there is a discussion about the housing crisis that plagues Metro Vancouver or anywhere else in Canada.

If Canada can’t house the people who already live here, we should stop letting more people into the country.

On Friday, the country’s population hit 40 million, with nearly all of last year’s growth due to immigration. The federal government has signed on to allow up to 500,000 newcomers into Canada annually by 2025.

This should have been headlined CBC Explains Why You’re A Racist For Objecting To Trudeau’s Mass Immigration Policy That Will Destroy Your Social & Financial Security.

The usual garbage “analysis” is thrown up i.e. immigrants are necessary for economic growth.

They fail to mention that immigrants themselves age and thus are not a fix for Canada’s aging demographic or that Canada no longer attracts the “younger immigrant” that can give as much as they take over the course of their working lives.

Our immigration policy is so sick that most granted permanent resident status can’t even be bothered to take out Canadian citizenship any longer because we’re just a waystation on the route to greener pastures to them:  In 2021, of the permanent residents who had come to Canada within the last 10 years, just 45.7 per cent had become citizens. In 2001, that figure was 75.1 per cent.

The cost of family reunification with grandma and grandpa to Canada? Not mentioned.

They lie about a non-existent labour shortage and make no mention of how mass immigration depresses wages.

The impact of Automation and AI on employment? Not a factor in CBC land!

But they do let you know that you’re a racist for daring to defend your own best interests.

A different take on Mass Immigration …

Douglas Todd: Five things the West can do for the ‘left behind’

Oxford University economist Paul Collier told a North American says there are better ways than immigration to help the world’s poorest, whose ongoing plight will eventually destabilize the globe.

Usual Grifters begin 3-day protest march to Roxham Road

Despite the rain trickling down Saturday morning, about 100 protesters gathered at La Fontaine park in Montreal with plastic rain ponchos, umbrellas, signs and flags to set off on a three-day march toward Roxham Road, in the Montérégie.

Refugee advocacy groups, migrants and supporters will be walking 73 kilometres to protest the recent closure of Quebec’s irregular border crossing to asylum seekers arriving in Canada from the U.S.

Canada’s population will hit 40 million Friday … But there’s no labour shortage and asylum seekers are sleeping on the street in Toronto

Despite setbacks during COVID-19, Canada’s population is now growing at a “record-setting pace” and will soon pass the 40 million mark, reads a new update from Statistics Canada.

According to StatCan’s real-time population clock, Canada’s numbers will hit the 40 million mark just before 3 p.m. EST Friday, the organization said.

Given the housing shortage and the strain all services are suffering Trudeau’s mass immigration scam is a cruel and heartless act inflicted on Canadians.

It’s a sleazy plan concocted by Junior’s fellow China class crony Dominic Barton & others that will solely benefit the Corporate Class.

There is no labour shortage and asylum seekers are sleeping on the street.

Contrary to Junior’s Star this is nothing to celebrate as mass immigration is a criminal fraud in progress..

Only the People’s Party is speaking out about this travesty.

After the surge, ready for the shantytowns?

Making a comeback – Depression Era Shantytown NYC

… And now suddenly, we’re seeing where — in the emergence of shantytowns now beginning to ring America’s major cities such as Houston, making them resemble Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Mexico City, Caracas, Medellín, Lima, Quito, San Pedro Sula, and other places — all of which have nice ritzy centers, housing for the rich and upper-middle classes, and endless rings of shantytowns in the hillsides and valleys outside these big cities, where the desperately poor live in tin-roof hovels, some precariously positioned on cliffs, with no flush toilets, no running water, no paved roads, no electricity, or only pilfered electricity from power lines to power the television sets and sometimes refrigerators inside. When I first saw the shack cities (known as ranchos rather than colonias in Venezuela), I needed to lie down, almost feeling as if I would faint. They were so huge and overwhelming…and awful. I felt the same way when I saw the shack cities ringing Tijuana, utterly horrified that such human misery could be so close to the prosperity of the United States. And Manila, Jakarta, Shenzhen — the same sensation.

Asylum seekers sleeping on Toronto streets as at-capacity city shelters overwhelmed … and housing starts decline 23% nationally

Two weeks after the City of Toronto said it would begin referring refugee claimants seeking beds in its at-capacity shelter system to federal programs, asylum seekers who recently arrived in Canada are struggling to find places to sleep.

Birck Teklau arrived in Toronto from Ethiopia on June 3 hoping to claim asylum because, he says, of political persecution in his home country.

The 34-year-old says he’s been sleeping on the streets ever since — after being turned away from the city’s shelter system day after day.

“I tried many times…. They say that we don’t have [a] place,” Teklau said in an interview. “I never expected this from Canada.”

Perfect Manufactured Storm … Annual rate of housing starts in Canada fell 23% in May

Canada Mortgage and Housing Corp. says the annual pace of housing starts in May dropped 23 per cent compared with April as starts of apartments, condos and other types of multi-unit housing projects in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal fell.

The national housing agency says the seasonally adjusted annual rate of housing starts was 202,494 units in May, down from 261,357 units in April.

‘I respect myself too much to stay in Canada’: Why so many new immigrants are leaving

… A recent Statistics Canada report suggested there are no widespread labour shortages for jobs that require high levels of education as the number of unemployed Canadians with a bachelor’s degree or higher education since 2016 has always exceeded the number of vacant positions that require at least an undergraduate education.

Akbar knows a number of people who have left Canada after completing their PhDs because they couldn’t find a job and moved to the U.S. or returned home, where their Canadian education is highly regarded.

… The 2021 census found that just 45.7 per cent of permanent residents became citizens within 10 years, down from 60 per cent in 2016 and 75.1 per cent in 2001.

The two countries from which Canada gets the most immigrants — India and China — don’t recognize dual citizenship. That has likely had an effect on Canadian citizenship uptake as newcomers are afraid Beijing and Delhi will strip their Chinese and Indian citizenship.

In a nutshell our immigration policy is horseshit and harms Canadian citizens and immigrants, but you knew that.

The only sectors of society to benefit are the corporate and permanent political classes who exploit shortages to profit from your misery.

Immigration: Canada’s economy can’t rely on temporary workers and study permits forever

“… Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada confirmed to The Globe there are “not set levels or limits” to the number of the work or study permits, as they are “driven by demand” from employers and postsecondary institutions. Ottawa has effectively created a shadow immigration department. “Increasingly, our immigration system has moved from state-run immigration to a system that is really controlled by non-state actors – the employers, the educational institutions,” said Rupa Banerjee, a Canada Research Chair in immigration and economics at Toronto Metropolitan University.”

Sick making how broken our immmigration system is.

Mass Immigration Doesn’t Work in Sweden

Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson publicly denounced his country’s poor management of immigration this week in a landmark opinion piece for the Swedish daily newspaper Aftonbladet.

The article is just the latest sign of a political volte face in the Scandinavian country’s infamous immigration outlook, but one that makes sense with respect to Kristersson’s Moderate Party’s electoral pact with the right-wing Sweden Democrats, in place since 2022.

What’s the right number of immigrants for Canada?

” … a new working paper from a trio of Canadian academic economists digs deeper into the issues around immigration. The paper, currently circulating in draft form under the title, The Economics of Canadian Immigration Levels, offers a scholarly but withering critique of current policy.

The authors – Matthew Doyle and Mikal Skuterud of the University of Waterloo, and Christopher Worswick of Carleton University – argue that policy makers are mistaken to conclude “that if some immigration is good for the economy, then more must be better.”

Immigration, Population Growth: Nuances Amid Hyper-Polarization

Immigration has been an important and divisive issue in most Western societies for years now. Complicating this issue is that fertility rates have been dropping in developed nations for decades. The media and public have just caught on to the reality of fewer babies in the last few months.

There are many nuances to the discussion, and thoughtful people can have sincere differences. However, in our hyper-polarized times we can divide the sides of the issue into two distinct groups, both of which have no tolerance for the opposing team or for any dissent within their group. The groups somewhat play along the left and right of the political spectrum, but the correlation is weak enough to render politicization of the issue unhelpful.

More Suspected Terrorists Found Illegally Crossing Southern Border In April Than In Four Trump Years Combined

Border Patrol agents caught 16 people on the FBI’s terror watch list trying to illegally cross the U.S. southwest land border between entry ports in April, bringing this fiscal year’s suspected terrorist arrest total up to nearly 100.

Not only is 16 higher than the recorded combined arrest totals from fiscal years 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020 but it’s the same as the total number of suspected terrorists apprehended at the southern border in FY 2021. Data from U.S. Customs and Border Protection also suggests that the number of suspected terrorists arrested in April alone was five times the three watch list apprehensions listed for all of FY 2019 and FY 2020.

Canada’s much-touted labour shortage is mostly a mirage

No one takes orders at the Burger King in the rest stop off of Ontario’s Highway 401 near Port Hope. Instead, there’s a large touch screen that customers use to select and pay for their Whoppers and fries.

That is just one small example of how companies are choosing to adapt to falling unemployment, rather than griping about a labour shortage that is in large part a mirage. Unfortunately, such innovation seems to be the exception, with many business groups preferring to press for increases in cheap labour, in the form of temporary foreign workers.

Tell the modern day Judas clique of the UNIPARTY and their Century 100 and China Class cronies to go to hell.

They are looking to destroy Canada for the sake of a few pieces of silver.

Mass immigration is a ponzi scheme.

Canadian doctors say birth tourism is on the rise. It could hurt the health care system.

Every few years, the phrase “birth tourism” seems to re-emerge in the news cycle. It refers to non-residents giving birth outside of their home country to gain citizenship and, occasionally, health care for their newborns. Birth tourism isn’t illegal in Canada, but it’s a fraught issue that tends to kick up discussions about who deserves access to the country’s health care system, especially in times of low bandwidth. Like now.

A message from the greedy lying bastards who want to destroy Canada …

Canada on track for 100 million immigrants but public support can’t be taken for granted: Century Initiative CEO

The chief executive of the Century Initiative says Canada “has reached the point of no return” when it comes to welcoming more immigrants, as its modelling shows Canada is on track to more than double its population to at least 100 million by the turn of the century.

But Lisa Lalande warned that existing high levels of public support for increasing immigration cannot be taken for granted.

“If public opinion shifts on immigration, policy will shift, and ultimately that will be detrimental to the future of the country,” she said in an interview.
